Also it sounds like even the new ones may still be loud. It's still random luck which drive you get.

As for 65nm...weren't we thinking anything from July '07, for any version of the console would be okay?

You're kidding right? All the games I've played so far run fine, I can read the text (yes we know, Dead Rising, whatever), and they look good enough for me. Terrible? That's harsh. I've been playing GRAW2 ever since I rented it and it still looks slick. Obviously it's not up to snuff with an HD set but as a 19 year old college student I don't have the funds to purchase a 360 AND an HDTV right at this moment. I need me some Halo 3 this fall. I've never been about pristine graphics. My friends got an HD set with his 360 and it looks great and I'd love to have one, but there's no rush. Just think about when I finally get an HDTV. Oh man it'll look a million times better! It's all about having fun baby.
 
i am holding out for a $149 console and loads and loads of $19.99 games. Of course that may not happen until the xbox 3 and playstation 4 are in stores.
 
uggggggggggggggggggggggh why didnt i trade in my xbox for 50$ credit towards an elite at launch. dammiTTT gs if you were cool you'd do something like that again...
 
The more I read about this stuff the more I get confused. Premiums produced July 07 and afterward have the zephyr motherboard (extra heatsink and HDMI port) but it will be a few months until the falcon motherboards (everything and 65nm chipset) are on store shelves.

If all that is correct it looks like I'm waiting again. I've been waiting for these 65nm chips before I buy a 360 for almost a year now.
 
I was playing gears today and this kid told me to check out his site, so while i was waiting in the lobby i went to it. Sounded pretty interesting but i havent signed up for it yet. He said he is giving away 3 games each month for free. It sounds legit and i talked to him for a while playing gears and he sounds pretty cool. The site was www.xbox360utopia.com, tell me what u guys think. Im gunna sign up and ill keep you posted on how it goes.

I think that you need to get a life! im sorry that im curious about something. I didnt know that spam was asking about something that is totally free. I was just trying to get opinions on the site. Isn't this site about finding cheap deals kinda like free games. Thought i would share something interesting. Also, its not even my site so i dont really care. Its for other people benefit if they wanted free games.
