YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Well, I did manage to get Ace Combat: AH (1 for 360 and 2 for 3DS), 4 of Madden 13 Wii U, A Marvel uDraw game, DJ Hero 2 360, and some Skylanders Giants stuff. Good enough. Had to also go to multiple stores to get the price adjustments.

I went last night and found a few gems hidden in the case (thanks to a list I compiled from several pages of this thread). I got Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate 3DS for $1.50, Ace Combat 3DS for $1.50, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 360 for $1, Epic Mickey 2 360 for $1, Sniper Elite Wii U for $3, Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U for $2, AC IV Black Flag Wii U for $3, Dead Rising 2 Off The Record PS3 for $1, and Spirit Camera 3DS for $0.50.

I also picked up a Justin Bieber puzzle for 40 cents - the perfect gag gift for one of my kids this Christmas (will pretend it is all he got).

When I left there were still tons of games, including more copies of AC IV, and several Jonas and Generator Rex DS games. I went back there with my kids this afternoon to look more carefully through the toy selection and also get my receipt from last week price adjusted. There was a young woman at Customer Service buying every last video game item they had in the bins. Yep, there were all the AC IV I left last night (so no one had come in during the half day in between to buy any), all of the remaining Jonas and Generator Rex plus several others, including some that I missed because they had not been mentioned here. The big one was Need For Speed The Run for 360, of which she bought 6 or 7 (again, all they had). She also had multiple Wi U Gamepad cradles. I had bought one as a spare last week when it was 90% off and didn't even see any more last night. She also bought all the leftover Skylanders portal skirts (the light-up things that are $1.50 now). I got one last night for my kids even though we don't have room for it - can't see what purpose this woman has for several of those. She also bought tons of the accessories for that video system (I forget what its called - Creo or something? - it made up the majority of what was left in Electronics clearance anyway). I can't see those being worth anything either.

Luckily for me, she was just trolling the bins and despite her rapaciousness, I still managed to snag a few leftovers from the locked cases: another Splinter Cell Blacklist for $2, Imagine Babyz for $1.50 (I have a 4 year-old girl so who knows - if nothing else it is a spare case ;)), and ModNation Racers Vita for $1. The latter was actually front-facing in the case with the green tag ($19.99) clearly showing. I guess fortunately for me it was in one of the low to the ground endcap cases and most people don't even notice things down there. I missed it myself last night I guess.

So I don't begrudge the woman buying everything, though, hell, she could have left one or two Jonas Bros for Christ's sake. I mean, even though they were only 25 cents, I still don't think they're worth even that much except as spare cases and I doubt that was her intention. She was BSing with the clerk while getting all her stuff rung up and saying how everyone thinks her kids are so spoiled getting all these games, and how she is so smart for waiting a few months and getting "brand new" $60 games for $1 when everyone else pays the full $60 for them. And how lucky her kids were to get these brand new $60 games from her. Yeah, she was young and had two little kids (2 and 4) with her and the only $60 game she had there was Assassin's Creed Black Flag for a system she most likely doesn't own. Look, like I said, I don't care that she bought everything - at this point it is all definitely fair game. But don't piss on my shoes and tell me it's raining...

Oh yeah, as for price adjustment, the CS clerk hemmed and hawed when I wanted to adjust my receipt from last week and said they don't do that. Finally she checked with a manager who said they did but she nearly threw up her hands in disgust at having to do it as I had multiple cheap toy items on there. I suggested that if it was too much trouble, she could just do the items over $2. So finally, after 20 minutes of dicking around, she got me back $11.50 on a total of 5 items off my 20+ item receipt. As bad as I felt initially asking for the price adjustment, once the manager was OK with it that quickly turned to annoyance over her whining and incompetence. It is one thing if they've been doing it constantly but it seemed like this was a new thing to her.

Oh yeah, there's more. I didn't even add the stuff I found in the bins or with green tags in the cases like Modnation Racers Vita, Spirit Camera 3DS, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 360, Dead Rising 2 Off The Record PS3, and Need For Speed The Run 360 (which that woman in front of me bought 6-7 copies of after I missed it last night).

I'm not updating/maintain the list. That's just what I used last weekend when I first went in to check out this sale. I found unmarked stuff at one store, and the other store was a complete waste of time since they had pulled everything and sold it long ago except for Jonas. So it is utterly hit or miss at this point.

Though now I'm thinking they might have had 1 or 2 of those Vita games at the store I've been to twice in the last 2 days. Don't make me want to go back there again - stop listing that stuff!

I had to go back one more time.  I have picked up a ton of PS3 games, 3ds accessories, and headsets to last me for years, but the 95% but was just too much to resist.  There wasn't much left, but I did find a few things to finish off the sale for me.  Picked up:

Pac-Man plush for $0.40

3 different sets of Cars 2 vinyl decal sets for $0.10 each (for my son)

5 copies of Jonas Brothers DS for $0.25 each (1 for my daughter, the rest for the cases)

2 copies of My Quit Smoking Coach DS for $0.25 each (for the cases, maybe a laugh or two)

2 copies of Imagine Babyz 3DS for $1.50 each (1 for my daughter, the other for a joke gift or the case)

3 copes of some LEGO mobile game kit for $1.00 each

Spent $8.91 and according to the receipt, I saved $160.26.

I was surprised the LEGO mobile game kits were still there since each one contains 146 LEGOs.  My son loves LEGOs and

since he loses them A LOT, this was a cheap way to replace a bunch of them.

It wasn't bad enough having them ring up 5 copies of the Jonas Brothers game, but the My Quit Smoking Coach wouldn't

ring up at all and the cashier had to call a manager to help out.  In the end, they rang them up as Jonas Brothers games

since they were the same price.

I was going to pick up one of the Skylanders Giants 3DS bundles, but put it back after realizing it didn't come with the portal.

Right after I made my choice, some lady came up and threw the remaining 3 in her cart along with a bunch of other stuff

she was just grabbing off the shelves.

RIP Toys R Us clearance summer 2014, you were a great one!

PS3 version is definitely not on clearance (at least not any more). I had that checked a few days ago. Vita might be different though.

Anyway, my list helped me ferret out some stuff that was still in the cases marked at full price, like AC IV, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Sniper Elite (all Wii U). The Electronics guy had no idea those were on clearance when I asked him to pull them and check the price. Thus was just last night...
 
According to the price checker machine, the last day is August 16th that is displayed on the bottom of the screen when scanning a clearance item.

My memory is a little sketchy on this as it has been a while since I checked notes on what they were doing with the stuff, but eventually it will be free with any purchase as I recall. HOWEVER, and this is where my memory is fuzzy, you may not see any videogames at all because they will either be donating whats left, destroying it, or putting it for this sale after a certain point. (When that is I don't remember 100%, it may be on 8/11 or 8/16)

 
And before anyone decides to go dumpster diving, I believe what is to be destroyed will not be done at store level.

Wow, unbelievable. I looked at my receipt and I actually only got 4 (out of 27) items on my one single receipt from 5 days ago price adjusted. I thought she did 5, but she only did 4, and it was a big hassle for her and took a long time.

Hey guys its been a while since I last posted. I thought since the sale is ending soon, I would post some finds since the last time I posted. This is a general list but I also picked up some other Halo toys (covenant wraith, high tower, ground tower) as well as sonic erector sets and mario sets.

Also got my receipts adjusted today. I had about 25 receipts and took almost 2 hours (kuddos to tru in dallas). Oh and some of the receipts are over a month old. Will post more when I have time.

Wait...a Layton 3? Woah. No wonder why the prices on Amazon are cheaper on that over Layton 1 and 4 (2 is about the same as 3).

 
Found some .85 Star Wars figure sets. I hope to find some Jurassic Park figures. Knex Mario kart $3.50. Bought some leftover games for .50-$2.00. Found the Star Wars sets with games and plush or bobble head for $1.70
 
I'm glad you folks got some deals, but my last couple of trips came up with nothing. Either games have been long gone, or employees have them stashed away for themselves.
 
The Cherry Hill, NJ store still has a few copies of Lumines Vita in an endcap display, but I get the feeling it's been taken off clearance just like the PS3 games. No issues with the return/rebuy thing.

 
They don't add things to the clearance do they? If it's just the same stuff going lower, I may not make the trip. But if there's a chance of more stuff on sale, my curiosity might force me to go.
 
Was bored and started scanning wii u accessories and found some good deals.
All for $6.45. All i need bow is a wii u. Hehe!
