Just bought it at KMART. They had three copies on the shelf behind the glass. This was in the University of Delaware area.

As I am not a fps fan I don't know what happened with Halo 3, is this even potentially legit?
 
It looks like Toys R Us is now showing IN STOCK as well. Maybe I'll get lucky when I'm out this weekend and find one on a shelf :D
 
There are rumors abound that the street date has been broken at various k-mart stores. Apparently Mass Effect arrived to box stores sometime in the last seventy-two hours.
 
In stock at the Lennox B&M Toys R Us in Atlanta, but pulled from the shelf. I asked to see it thinking it was a preorder box and decided not to get it not realizing that it shouldn't be out yet. It dawned on me as I left the store that it shouldn't be out until at least next week, and I went back to get it. I guess it has the DO NOT SELL UNTIL 11/20 sticker because the lady said that she saw something on it that said she couldn't sell it until the 20th. Oh well.

Anyway, check TRUs, too.
 
I picked up 2 copies a few hours ago at a Kmart here in MD - Game was not on the shelf (Glass case was broken) asked to check in the back if they had it and sure enough they did.
 
Temping, but I can wait. I already have too many games to play. I'm kind of excited to end this insane streak of great games with Mass Effect, Uncharted and Rock Band all on the same day.

I work at a Kmart... if I see it on the shelf tomorrow I'll pull it off.

(and if it doesn't say BEFORE STREET DATE on the register I'll grab one for myself... but that wouldn't be professional... plus I'd hate to get others in trouble)

Nothing came up on the register when mine was rung out. Rep even mentioned it but apparently didnt see the big orange sticker on the top.
 
I went to several stores in Central Illinois and none of them had Mass Effect. I'll call around tomorrow and see if there are any then.
 
I'm not gonna jump on this, I can wait. I don't have a 360 to play on anyways. By the time my 360 gets back Mass Effect will release, and I'm hoping that it will come up cheap somewhere.
 
I can't get over how impatient people are. If you've been holding out for this game and this game alone*, rock on, but anyone who even thinks about paying more than five bucks above MSRP for getting the game now via eBay is a fucking moron, because you won't get it RIGHT THIS INSTANT, and no matter how much money you've got to burn, you're condoning the fuckwads who sell this shit. And I'll wager that most people bidding don't have the money. And hey, isn't this Cheapassgamer??

*--Otherwise, don't you have something else new to play for the next ten days?? I've barely touched Modern Warfare! For starters!

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, if you've got the extra money to burn, then get another freaking game, and if you don't, then you should be waiting. Of course, this is logic directed toward the irrational, so silly me.
