Just saw like 4 of them sitting on the shelf yesterday, had a feeling they'd drop soon, just not that fast.

Either way, I'll wait and see if it goes under 30-40$. The first Dead Island was just a massive disappointment for me. (Probably biggest one I have had in a while)

wait do we know if this is online only or in store as well? I prefer to do everything in person and was going to go PM first thing in the morning.

Doesn't matter for Best Buy. If its on their website, it'll be in-store as well. Only time I've seen an online only deal by them was on Easter when the store was closed. But if its not showing up in-store, tell them its online and they'll match it.

i am 100% positive, it will be this price in store as well. Even if the price is not reflecting the online price. most of the time bestbuy store will matchestheir online store price. as i have done it many times. you have to do it first thing in the morning, to ensure they do not pull the price in the next 24 hrs

I'm enjoying the game a lot more than DI1. Inventory slots now only include weapons so you can actually carry tons of liquor and grenades!

Also John Morgan kicks the crap outta dem zombies :)
 
wow! dont even know why they even tried to milk this franchise by making another game that looks and feels the same as the first. price drop for this game means it sucks big time and the publisher is trying to salvage whatever they can as soon as possible. thanks for the info op, but this game is not worth it even at this lowered price.

hey, different stroke for different folks. some ppl are into the zombie theme type of games. One reason shows like the walking dead are successful.

yeah. walking dead by telltale games was way better than this and i have that game. and that was only $29.99 when it was released. well worth my money but not this one for sure.
 
I pre-ordered Dead Island and picked it up on 4/23 release date.
Do you have to be a premier silver rewards zone member to get their post-purchase price match? Or is regular status fine?

Since it was after 4/18, everyone has a post purchase 15 day window for BBY prices. So get that $$ back!

logged about 40 hours into the first one and now am about 10 hour into this one. enjoying the hell out of it, basically feels like the first one with one new character, more weapons and a new environment. I don't see anything wrong with that.

edit: thanks OP! hope these prices hold until the end of the day tomorrow. hoping to post-purchase PM my Rigor Mortis Edition.

I have it understood that if I price match, I'm essentially returning the item and rebuying it, therefore I would lose the $20 in certs for being an unlocked member.
Is this correct, or not?
 
I don't understand why this game got bad reviews because it's too much like the first but CoD is the same every year and gets 9s... I had a blast when I rented this one. Hope Amazon PMs, have credit there. If not ill pick up a copy.

That's what I was thinking.

Can someone please tell me what the number under their BBY version's barcode are? Hopefully they're the same? The barcode on the Rigor Mortis box, not the game case barcode.
 
Why do I get the feeling that those prices won't be up for long and that someone at BB screwed up?
