Wifi, 3G/Wi-Fi PS Vita $159.99 w/ FS @ Radio Shack

I can't wait for remote play.

Has it been confirmed you can play PS4 on your Vita if you're at a different location with wifi? Or does it have to be the same building?

has to be on the same network and you need good wifi
Don't think that's true. It can still work but it'll be dependent on connection speed

"Can Remote Play work outside the user’s home network?

We strongly recommend that Remote Play be used within the same WiFi network where PS4 is connected. Remote Play may or may not work over a wide area network. For Remote Play to function over a wide area network, a robust and stable WiFi connection and broadband Internet connection is required, and the local area network where PS4 is connected must be configured to permit the PS Vita system to access PS4."

Thanks Wario, didn't even notice the 3G was on sale too. Thanks for adding it to the OP.

Yes you can. http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psvita/ps4link/viainternet.html

Not recommended, but it's do able. It's recommended to have the PS4 hard wired and then the vita next to the access point in the house though.

EDIT: ninja'd

you ever used an nvidia shield ?

or it says "may or may not work"

if it worked well you would think they would probably be pushing it hard since vitas don't sell
They're just covering their asses since connection speeds are often slow once you start using public hotspots, as Geco said, it's probably not recommended

i would be surprised if there wasn't a better deal on BF but this is good if you want one for ps4 launch

last years ass creed vita bundle for  170 was a crazy good deal

anyone know if we would be able to return this in store?
I wanna jump on this to ensure getting the oled screen version, and also wait til bf before opening it to see if a better deal is offered for it.
depending on the outcome may or may not keep this, and not having to pay return shipping would be nice.

F%@k me!!! I just purchased a used bundle this weekend and would have jumped on this in a heart beat!

For anyone on the fence in regards to the OLED vs LCD watch the video below to help you decide. Personally I'll give up a little battery life for the bright and vivid OLED screen.

Hmmm, this is very tempting, this model has a better screen, but the vita slim does have better battery life and should eventually come out here :/

Where'd you buy? You're in the holiday return window at GameStop, w/i return window for CowBoom. Unless it was Craigslist/eBay, you should be able to reverse course and get the new RS.com unit.

It was a local purchase. I got a good deal but of course for this price I would much rather have had a new one. Especially with the possibility of getting a launch unit with an 8GB card. Mine came bundled with a 4GB and it's virtually useless for anything other than a few PSP games and Rayman Origins.

I saw the new screens....

Trust. Get yourself an OLED Vita and one of these:http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita/accessories/playstation-vita-portable-charger/98464

Plus, you can use it to charge other devices(phone, 3DS, etc).

Team OLED!!!

This is the cheapest you'll probably find it! I already got Amazon's Black Friday white Vita last year but this is just as good!

Vita means life

Smoking price for a new OLED Vita.

Seriously. If you're on the fence and have the cash to burn, jump on the deal. The screen is a thing of beauty.

Idk whether or not to pull the trigger! I hesitated and missed out on the 3g vita.
Do it! You won't regret it! I play my Vita more than any other console I own. There are plenty of good games for it! You want a solid multiplayer shooter? Killzone. You want a sandbox RPG? Gravity Rush. JRPG? Persona 4 Golden. Assassins Creed fan? Assassins Creed Liberation is more than competent. And tons of fun stuff in between. For this price, definitely go for it!
