Trojan Records presents: "Motor City Reggae box set" ....this collection is 50 tracks on 3 CDs where old reggae cats are doing old skool motown songs. definitely a good find.

Waajeed and Bling 47 crew present: Detroit Drums. I am still waiting in the mail for this breaks/ drum sample library. Its a rare collection of breakbeat tracks intended for those who love to abuse their sampler.

I went a little overboard the past week or so

Edo G & Pete Rock: My Own Worst Enemy
Median: Median's Relief
Pete Rock & CL Smooth: Mecca & The Soul Brother
Little Brother: Getback
NYG'z: Welcome 2 G-Dom
Smif n Wessun: The Album
Boot Camp Clik: For the People
Public Enemy: Yo! Bum Rush the Show
Gang Starr: Hard to Earn
Gang Starr: The Ownerz
Edo G: The Truth Hurts
OGC: Da Storm
Pharcyde: Labcabincalifornia

Mecca and the soulbrother is one of my favorite albums of all time......but if you love that you need to check out the album after that "The main ingredient"....both their styles jhust got tighter with that album. I played my copy till i lost it.

Oh and there might be a chance Pete and CL will get back check this clip out:

BestBuy.com is doing 2 for $15 on a bunch of indie CDs, I went for 4 new cds ($7.50 each with free shipping!):

The Go! Team - "Proof of Youth"
Band of Horses - "Everything All The Time"
Shout Out Louds - "Our Ill Wills"
Sunset Rubdown - "Random Spirit Lover"

I already have the other CDs by Go Team and Band of Horses, so this was a logical progression, and I love Wolf Parade, so Sunset Rubdown seemed like a logical purchase, but Shout Out Louds was a blind buy, just based on the single. Anyone heard it, and if so, how is it?

Boris with Merzbow - Rock Dream

Was actually kind of suprised to see this, since it's limited to 5000.

By four o'clock I've discounted suicide in favor of killing everyone else in the entire world instead.

Agreed. Great album.
I decided against buying some things I bidded on a lowball auction. Didn't know it'd be a big problem. Sue me.
