Throw down the ONE game you own that you doubt *any* other CAG has!

coltyhuxx

CAGiversary!
The only catch - it has to be something you could purchase (let's say from a store, so we don't get into public domain stuff or something your friend made). Tell us a little about it and include pics (if you can find them).

When you post you can knock out anyone who's game you own (or owned at one time)....

Here's mine.

Keef the Thief - yes, I bought this at Software Etc (for those that even remember that store). It was supposedly pretty funny. I didn't play it very much. It tried way too hard to be this huge barren environment where you'd get lost very easily and that, to me, equals no fun. I kept it because (a) it was expensive at the time and (b) the box art is very odd.

Edit: (Throw some pics down or some description of the games you guys are mentioning.. makes it a little more visceral, er no?)

Oh you fucker. How I envy thee!

Though I don't own it yet - but I will soon - I am going to say The Dark Eye.

I'll throw Lords of Magic out there (the bug-ridden original one, not the SE where my name appears in the credits).

Hard to say with old PC titles, I have no idea of their popularity or lack thereof.

Gotcha on that one :D I own the regular edition and STILL have it on a shelf. Man, what happened with that game. It ran game ruiningly slow. The music and graphics (for the time) were really quality.
Blair Witch Volume 1: Rustin Parr
I've got that.. also Volume 2: Coffin Rock.

The least common game I own is Clock Tower for the PS1.. though someone probably has it.

I used to own a DDR arcade machine (still have a 4th Mix Plus upgrade kit).

I have a factory sealed copy of Super Mario RPG.

And I doubt anyone else has Operation Neptune for PC.
I would have to go with Phantasmagoria for PC. It was a scary adventure game, and it is still awesome.
I had that one and The 7th guest type games.

I still have and play Iron Storm for Sega Saturn

I actually owned some of those. I had Keef the Thief for Amiga. It was my free game in some mail away offer (buy 2 or 3 get one free). I never got very far in it but it was ok.

Lords of Magic is actually one of my favorite games of all time, despite the horrible game killing bugs. Step on the invisible square o' death in combat? Good! GAME GO CRASH NOW! Heh.

I think I had Blueprint too (I had like every 5200 game) but can't say I remember it outside of the cartridge label though.

I have Iron Storm as well. I got it when my Saturn was falling out of favor so I never really played it much but it looks really good.

Oddest game I had that nobody else had is probably Spaceship Warlock. I got it in some multipack and was a terrible game but the music "Spaaaaaaaaaaaceship Warlock. Ahhh Ahhhhh. Ahhhh Ahhhhhhh " is forever burned into my brain. My roommate in college left the music playing for like 3 hours straight once just to annoy me. I nearly had to smash his computer.

If it didn't have to be storebought I would say Devil Whiskey. It's a Bard's Tale clone (Original RPG BT not the new one) that came out a few years back and was a very good game. I bought it as a DL first then got a boxed copy when they finally got them made but I don't think they were ever distributed outside the website.

The developers were great guys (gave the guy who runs GameTab his first paid webmaster job), but Impressions got shut down by Sierra a while back.

Bah, forget PC. How about some TI love? Let's go with the Asteroids clone Parsec.

Damn, I think you're in the lead ;)

I looked into Devil Whiskey... I like the style of the graphics.. I wonder if it's still available

3D Worldrunner for the NES? I have no idea of the commonality of this one, but I hadn't heard of it before I got it in an NES lot a few years back. Great game.

And botticus, did you do some bug-hunting for them on Lord of Magic?

I don't think I have any games that no one else here would have, but I'll break the rules and throw out an accessory.

I have wireless controllers for the Atari 2600.

These suckers:

I'd bet at least a few other CAGs have them, but it's the oddest thing in my collection. I can only imagine how fabulously expensive they must have been when they were first released.

I have that one!

I have about 20 or so longbox PSX games

Jupiter Strike only one that comes to mind because it played like Starfox 64

Dragon Ball Z Butoden 2 for SFC

Few Turbo Graffix-16 games like Legendary Axe and Side Arms

Those things pretty much epitomize "bitchin'" controllers... I've heard of them. An antennae... wow... those are so eighties it kills me (in a good way). Look at the footprint on those babies.. I'm guessing an easy 2lbs each? Run on D batteries?

The Artist formely known as Prince's PC Game: Interactive

However, when we're talking about CAGs i bet no one in this forum owns a copy of Steel Battalion

No doubt. I saw them at a yard sale and knew they had to be mine. The big chunky antennas are key. :) I love how they look exactly like normal Atari joysticks but just have a base 6 times as thick.

Nice bonus is that each joystick has an 'on-off' switch on the base, so if you forget and leave them on after you finish playing you get to buy new batteries!

Sorry, I have that. Anyone want it?

I'll say CPU Bach for the 3DO. Not technically a game, but the oddness of it should make up for it. Otherwise I'll have to dig into my stack of awful 2600 games.

Sorry I have phantasmagoria, A!0 Cuba, Freddy Pharkas, Keef The thief and Blair Witch: Rustin Parr for the Pc. Also I have Burai Fighter for both the NES and Gameboy.

For my part

Trolls and Tribulations for the apple II C. I didn't realize I still had it until recently. It was my favorite game for a long time during the post Atari/ pre Nintendo days.

I am in with Big Nose The Caveman. It is an adventure game that is like a cross between Adventure Island and Bonk's Adventure.

Pretty sure nobody else here has Final Fantasy X International... if somebody does, then my choice is Bible Black. Which nobody has.
Burai Fighter for the NES!
I used to own Burai Fighter. But I got rid of most of my NES games over a decade ago.

I've got Hover Strike for atari jaguar CD.
