(1) You're optimistic. Good luck with that.

(2) I fail to see the draw of having it on PS3 sans the pricing, maybe.... I would have to take up my TV and make it my sole focus, where as if I'm playing on Vita I can grind while I watch TV or play when I'm at the office, etc. I'm seriously tempted to just preorder though, keep the book, then sell the PS3 copy.

1. Well I already know I want a large majority of the games they have shown, and there are a couple of digital games that I know I want as well, I saw a list earlier this week of all the games still coming out for the Wii U and it's actually a lot more than I thought it was. I guess you could say I'm optimistic but I've always enjoyed Nintendo's games and don't expect that to change soon.

2. I strongly prefer playing on a console over a handheld, and to me it will make me more likely to finish the game (even though I have before). I would much rather game on a big screen then a small screen if I can and I prefer being able to sit back and relax while gaming instead of starting at a smaller screen, I have no problems with handhelds as I own both a 3DS and a Vita but with these games that are coming out on handheld and console I will always choose console.

 
I tend to take narrative heavy games less seriously when they're handheld. I'm playing tons of FF tactics on my iphone when I'm at work and I just don't give two shits about what's happening to the characters.

I think that's normal for a lot of Final Fantasy games, including FFT -- I never gave a fuck about why anything was happening, I just wanted to unlock Cloud. :lol:

That goes double for FFX -- I think, for me, it's probably the absolute worst story in a FF game that I've played beyond the NES era.

Then again, FFXII was a close second... but while I loathed a large part of the "world" of FFX, I was just indifferent to Ivalice and have never cared one bit about anything going on there.

what do you guys actually do with the artbook for video games? other than looking at them,. i just cannot  point of buy a $60  game for an artbook.

Injustice GOTY edition spotted on Amazon France for $40!  Systems included were PS3, 360, Wii U, Vita, and PC!  Release date was sometime early November, don't remember the exact day.

FFX HD collection is 2 games for $40 with the artbook. :p

Generally I prefer the LE guides... but the book looks nice, so it's tempting. I'm a sucker for Steelbooks and hardcover/bound artbooks.

lol, yeah i just recently got suck into the steelbook . Steelbooks are pretty cool, in terms of collecting them

What they should do is say that these characters are exclusive to the GOTY version.

That would be Capcom of them.

Man, I have more artbooks than anything else in my collection. A good one will sell me on just about anything. I have the Persona 3 one sitting in my Amazon cart right now. Just want to beat it first to avoid spoiling anything.

 
As much as I love certain games like Metal Gear franchise and Silent Hill 2 and Bioshock, i could care less for an artbook or steelbook. Dat Legacy collection looks like garbage. So your paying 50 bux for mgs1, mgs vr missions and mgs4 and two ashely wood graphic novels? who da fuq cares  :roll:

More Last of Us tonight.  Out of Pittsburgh, through some sewers, and a bit into a section of working through some houses.

More Animal Crossing today as well of course.  Made a ton of money selling turnips for high value in another CAG's town, messed around with some designs using some of the image to QR code apps.  Will have my house fully expanded in the morning.
