Psycho is a fun BL2 character.  It takes getting used to though, since my main is a Mechromancer using the safer trees.

GTAV looks pretty cool.  I think SR3 did the open world thing just right, but this one looks very promising.

I play everything, but I prefer PS3 and PC.  I've been playing Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed on PC recently, to take a break from TLoU.  I don't think I'll finish that game any time soon, if ever.

I think PAX East would be really awesome to hang out with you at, since we both are into videogames and their is a really strong board game presence at the convention as well (plus lots of my cosplays are gaming related anyways, haha).

Yeah, PAX East is definitely something I'd love to do. I wanted to go this year, but the tickets sold out in like 2 hours. Hopefully we can actually get tickets next year.

How far were you in TLoU? I think the best point in the game was when Winter began.

Yeah the PAX prime tickets sold out super quick this year too. I have some friends who have gone to PAX East regularly since the first year it started (I went two years with them) so maybe I'll let them know I'm interested in going this coming year since I know one of them watches for any info on when the tickets are going to become available fairly closely and I'll try and keep you posted.

Finally got time to play some more Last of US last night.  Got around 3 hours into it, pretty far into the Pittsburgh section now--through the hotel and a bit beyond.  Really enjoy the game, some of the combat sections with a lot of guys around can get a little tedious, but otherwise I'm loving it.

Had my first couple encounters with Bloaters, which are a pain.  Favorite moment was sneaking up on a group of hunters standing around talking about how to catch us and chucking a molotov in the middle of them and wiping them all out. :D

I also like how you get little tidbits of the story of what happened through grafitti and other stuff around the cities and Elle asking about things etc.

Just got an e-mail about that. Fairly good deal for me since I already own Fire Emblem and I'm getting SMT4. Not sure what I'll actually use the credit on though since I don't know how many digital 3DS games I want to own, but maybe some more good virtual console stuff will come out.

Dragon's Dogma is good. I really need to start playing it some more, but I've been doing a lot of PC and handheld stuff right now.

I did enjoy that game quite a bit (at least, my ninja pacifist run or whatever you wanna call it), but I haven't played the DLC yet.  I think I heard that the Knife of Dunwall DLC was worth it though.

 
GTAV trailer looked alright, I'll pick it up on PC.  If it's not on PC the same day as the console versions, I'll just wait for a sale.

 
SECRETS is a band, like Issues and In Fear and Faith, that is plagued by a shitty scream and the generic rifts that come with him. Would be much better off without that or at least keeping him in the background and not the forefront like he is for most of this song.

Sooo who can sell me on SMTIV? I've played Persona 3:FES and Devil Summoner 2 and enjoyed both. Didn't play nocturne because I'd heard it had some frustrating difficulty issues. Also, it's a $50 portable game? what?

I didn't have much trouble with Nocturne's difficulty, though I didn't really do any of the sidequests and had previously played Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2, so I had a good idea of what I was getting into. The main issue I had with Nocturne was that the world was dull, and nearly every. Single. Character. Is a total asshole. Anyway, Nocturne is pretty grindy, but not much more than that, difficulty-wise.

I did preorder SMTIV, though, since the setting looks interesing and the gameplay should be decent, plus the franchise as a whole (thanks to all the spinoffs) has come a long way since Nocturne.

It's not even a matter of if Smash is good or not (I'm indifferent on the subject) or what replaces it. It's Nintendo showing that it is out of touch with everything. Free publicity for 30K + people? An opportunity to support a game that is over ten years old and promote the next Smash? And what about all those people that donated money to win the right to be at Evo? They can't even watch it. Though it will be nice to see more P4A and KOF. I'm glad they chose those over SFxT or TTT2.

 
It's all about numbers, though I will admit it is odd that SFxT only has a slot for finals. But AE has by far and away the most entrants and viewership (debateable, though, with UMVC3). I  may not like SFxT, but there is no way it should have less time that MK9. I had forgotten MK9 was an Evo game until this past week. 

They should have anticipated something like this and had 4, or maybe 5, streams.

Hmmmm, have Fire Emblem already, didn't think I was going to get SMT though since I haven't played the others/I have a lot of other RPGs to play right now/It's $50....I guess I'll think about it now.

I was going to get it either way but it's nice to see them add the book like with the KH HD pack, I was also never going to get it on Vita so I'm set with that, cool to see them adding something to it though.
