I never replay games so I never keep consoles around when done with them. My PS2 got sold when I was done with it like every other console I've owned. :D I'm not a collector/hoarder type at all--I'm rather more OCD/neat freak type so anything I'm not actively using gets the axe.

There are no current gen games (that aren't getting next gen versions too anyway) that I'm interested in. Much less any exclusive to 360. I'll be keeping my PS3 for quite a while into next gen probably as I have a bigger back log on it thanks to PS+ and not getting one until Jan 2012.

Yeah, that stuff is bullshit, but I didn't know that it's affecting Showtime too? Unless Dexter isn't on Showtime anymore... (I thought it was a Showtime original?)

The last season of Dexter I watched was the one with Jon Lithgow (season 4, I think?) and that was alright. Seasons 3 was pretty boring, poorly acted and lazily written. I guess it doesn't get any better?

If you have Amazon Prime Under the Dome is on their streaming video service. Haven't watched it yet as I'm reading the book in my Kindle currently.
 
I have the book too, but I'm on someone else's Prime as a guest, so I'm not about to drop $80 to get Amazon Instant Video access.

I figure I'll read the book after the mini-series concludes on TV; I have to finish reading book 5 of Game of Thrones anyway. :)

 
The book is Ok. Far from King's best stuff, but moderately enjoyable. As for the TV show, I have no idea, but it has that one guy from Breaking Bad, so that is a thing.

Under the Dome, as a TV series, seems competent enough.  I can't compare it to the book though, not yet, at least. 

It makes me want to read the book, in hopes that if the TV series is decent that the book will be better.  Like dmaul114, it's on my kindle, but I haven't started it.  It has enough shades of the things that make me some of Stephen King's works that are not short stories that it's kept my interest and my girlfriend seems to like it too, so that's a plus.

thank god, my dragons crown finally shipping now, i thought i was screwed cause i choose the economic shipping option of 5-8 free shipping. i got my tales of xilla preordered at bestbuy, still deciding whether i will pick it up.

Free is free, better than nothing and I wasn't expecting much to begin with, I was more excited about the soundtrack. Good to know though.

I was in the same boat--guest on someone else's prime. Decided to get my own when Netflix started charging for streaming, and Amazon added instant videos and the Prime lending library. Basically pays for itself by not paying $9 + tax for Netflix streaming (but moot if you don't have or want that) and getting and reading some books on Kindle (can do one a month--selection isn't great though) for free.

Amazon video's selection isn't as good as Netflix, but it was good enough for me as I don't stream a ton anyway and mostly just watch my Netflix disc rentals (and pick up things from Redbox some too). I mainly watch new releases as I've seen most of the older stuff I had a strong interest in seeing, and very few new releases are on either streaming service. All moot now as I just share my Mom's Netflix streaming account so I have access to both. I mostly pay for it anyway as I get her Netflix gift cards for birthdays and Xmas. She watches stuff on it every day, great for her as she loves cheesy old mystery shows and movies and they have tons of that stuff.

I hate gamestop, but selling consoles is a pain. Too costly to ship and worry about damages or getting lost. Pain on Craigslist as people want to test stuff out, which is understandable, but I'm not letting people in my house or going in someones so just ends up being a hassle.

On top of that, checking Craigslist in my city, there's a bunch of 360s listed everyday in the $150-250 range depending on how many games they're including. So not worth the hassle given the current trade in values. I only have 3 disc games left, and will just sell those on Amazon as I'm not taking Gamestops crappy prices on software trades.

I'm hoping they'll have a new copy of Fire Emblem Awakenings so I can go ahead and get that registered for the $30 code. May get Bioshock Infinite for PS3 as well depending on price. Otherwise will either save the credit for putting toward a PS4 game/controller or just get Amazon gift cards to put toward my PS4 preorder.

$140 is not bad but I don't think I'm getting an xbox one anytime soon so I'll be going back and forth between ps4 and xbox 360. Got more shit to worry about first like school and finding a job so I can buy a phone and text with my dawg, indidawg.

 
Yeah, I'm not getting an X1 period.  Very opposed to Kinect/motion control/voice command stuff, and I just don't have the time to keep up with games on multiple consoles.

So I'll be going back and forth between PS3 and PS4, with some 3DS on the side.  360 literally has no exclusives left that interest me that I haven't played, so just no reason to keep it around any longer as it's value will just tank as time goes on.

Yeah that would be great, my gaming funds are getting low and I'd like to be able to make them grow! I got enough for a next gen system and a few games right now at least, but I'd like to get some extra stored up. All yew peoplez and yer PS4s
