GGT 260 Stops at Megaman X4, you casual.

I've been playing this version of Pokemon:

Guys I moved to a new apartment.  Now I have an extra bedroom if any of you* want to come visit me!

I am certainly going to a Kinkos or FedEx office to print out a laminated board for that Pokemon game now.

fucking Kinkos wouldn't print it out for me. "Trademaked pictures" was their excuse. Note: Kinkos and FedEx are in the same.

It's a legitimately sound investment. My buddy made game pieces.
It is, I made two versions of it and I am now trying to make a legit third that is on a gameboard with a box.

NICE. Invite me over bro, I'm fun to party with :D

I suppose I could just use my university's printing center since I know some folks there. Grrr, I need this game now.

Office Depot will print anything in my experience and they're cheap -- a bunch of my custom minimalist game covers were printed there and I'd go back if I ever do another batch.

Payday 2 is already turning a profit and it's not out yet?

Is it cuz they just reused most of the stuff from the first game and slapped the number 2 on it?

jk. That's cool, I guess. I like Starbreeze, so good for them.

do you guys think Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix - Limited Edition is worth getting? for someone like me who never played kingdom hearts before?

I can't see anyone picking KH up for the first time and finding the first game even remotely enjoyable. Has anyone played it recently?
I didn't find the first game enjoyable originally -- so much so that I wrote off the franchise because of it. I do believe I checked to see how targeting worked in KH2 and I wasn't happy with the answer so it remained unpurchased and unplayed.

No.

I found Kingdom Hearts rather enjoyable on the first play through, but once I revisited the game last year, I could barely finish it. Kingdom Hearts 2 was even worse for me. Personally, I'd skip it unless you're really into the characters and type of game it is.

No.  I can never get into KH, and I've tried multiple times.  They are boring and not fun overall.  Damn waste of a Disney license IMO.

I forced myself to like KH for a bit -- because FINAL FANTASY and DISNEY!!!!

But the original characters/story never did anything for me and as I kept going through particular worlds, some were just unbelievably annoying/frustrating. Tarzan, Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan worlds are the ones that stick out in my memory (the latter two because of the flying/swimming, I think, the former because of the tree sliding).... that and trying to beat Sephiroth in the Colosseum (Hercules). I know by the time I hit Peter Pan/Little Mermaid realms toward the end of the game I had decided to beat it as quickly as possible so I could immediately trade it to EB for most of what I paid for it.

Beyond all else, I remember hating the lock-on design most of all. I remember wanting it to work like z-targeting from OoT, but it didn't. It just made the lock-on target the focal point of camera rotation, which made it difficult to manage Sora/Donald/Goofy. When KH2 came out, I was willing to give it another shot... because FINAL FANTASY and DISNEY!!!! But then I found out that they didn't really change the lock-on mechanic and never bothered with the franchise again.

If they ever put Birth by Sleep up on PSN though, I might be willing to check that out, as I think it's not supposed to be the same as KH/KH2 in terms of gameplay and most people seem to think it's a pretty good game. (It's one of the two to three games for PSP I always see people lamenting about since it's not on PSN... [others include Crisis Core, the Mega Man game, and FF:Type-0]).

I agree with this except for the KH2 part. I still feel like KH2 is one of the best games on the PS2, but I am a major Disney and Squeenix fan, sooooo, y'know.

KH1 is just not worth playing if you've never played it before. It has not aged well at all. The controls and camera are just terrible.

What Disney/Final Fantasy characters were added in KH2?

I'm trying to remember most of what was in KH and it was mostly FF7 and FF8, I think?

Disney was Tarzan, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey/Donald/Goofy, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, Hercules... and I'm blanking after that.

Off the top of my head (It's been like 6 years or more since I played the game) I can only remember Scar, Scrooge McDuck, Auron and Tifa.

If I can, I will drop $40 or $60 for Yatagarasu.  I dunno, at least $10 though for sure...

$40 is 1% of the gap to GGPO support.

I saw that -- I just tweeted the dev to ask about the possibility of Steam.
So 99 more people need to throw in $40? Sounds doable if it gets enough coverage.

They said they would submit it to steam greenlight after it's done.

Now ... how am I going to get Skullgirls?!
