TNA Wrestling wishes Brooke Hogan the best in her future endeavors. Would that be a Hooters waitress?
That would explain why they did what they did for the taping for next week. They had
Bully Ray mention that he wasn't talking to Brooke Hogan. He was talking to the "hot" Brooke, Brooke Tessmacher.
At least we know TNA isn't afraid to fire a Hogan.

Eh, Tessmacher hasn't been on for a few months and I haven't missed her a bit.  Gail Kim has been tearing down the house these last couple of months with her 2 matches with Taryn Terrell and the match she had with Mickie James a few weeks back.

Pretty fun show. Nothing was too amazing, and the 6-man tag build and match itself seemed really rushed. I have a really bad feeling about the McMahonamania angle they're building up. I do look forward to Vince being in a new crazy suit each week though. The main event angle was a bit too much, but full of amusing things.

Brooke Hogan being gone is a pleasant surprise - even if it's temporary, since she's not very good at all and I'd really like her to get out of wrestling and be able to live a nice, normal-ish life after getting married.

2K14 Legends Roster
Is this it?! That means we're gonna have to shell out some cash to add wrestlers...If this is actually it, 2k will make a good amount on Ryback, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and I'm sure there's a ton more but those just popped into my head.

No, that's only the Legends roster. The current roster will be in the game.

Legends roster does not mean full roster.

Why is ADR on there?

I really love that roster, but I"m kinda sad they left out Jake Roberts. At least we get Hall, though. I would've also loved Demolition and the New Age Outlaws.

So I don't know if its been mentioned but the new ECW compilation came out. I've only watched one match so far but holy hell, it's a match that I never thought I'd get to see again.

August 1998 - Sabu vs Taz vs Bam Bam Bigelow for Taz' FTW Championship.

This was a match that I saw on free TV when it was "new" and have been looking for ever since. As far as I can remember from the original broadcast, nothing has been cut and it is as good as it could be. If someone wanted to know what made the original ECW so special, this would be within the top three matches that I would show them. It might even be the top one. It is an absolutely haphazard brawl that really captures the spirit of old ECW. If you don't want to shell out for the DVD/Blu, it isn't a "bluray extra" so it'll probably show up on Netflix eventually.

What a rush, most fun I've had watching a wrestling match since probably Punk vs. Cena in 2011.

After watching that reveal video of the Legends roster, I don't think that's a very good name for it. It's really just the roster that will be in the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode, which is why you see people like Alberto & Miz in it.

Yeah, Del Rio and Miz get listed there because it'll have Edge's last match and Miz/Cena for that WM.

If they are being as accurate as they say you can pick out what matches are going to be in the mode.  IE -  they made a Diesel model that is accurate to him managing HBK at Wrestlemania X but would be inaccurate for 11 or 12

Looks like the 2 matches from 20 are going to be Cena/Big Show and Goldberg/Lesnar as they won't touch the title matches for obvious reasons.

Man that WM panel was one of the most hilarious things ever. JR had to be drunk during the entire time. Highlights was Foley worried that Flair wouldnt get anything to say but he eventually ended up taking most of the mic time. Dropping in a TNA reference was awesome too

Watch that video HTTM posted. Can skip through the lengthy introductions if necessary but watch the discussion. Flair goes from being overlooked to never shutting up, and tells a story about something he did at Reid's funeral (and the aftermath).

Breaking Exclusive: Ric Flair Pulled From 2K Legend's Panel, Replaced by Lawler, Stephanie Forced to Explain, WWE Officials Said to be Furious

Ric Flair was pulled from last night's 2K Sports Legends panel, and it appears as though WWE sent Jerry Lawler to the event to replace Flair in talking to the media.

We can also exclusively confirm Stephanie McMahon LeVesque personally came to the event, and was whisked in by her own personal security staff to apologize to 2K Sports on behalf of WWE.

WWE is furious with Flair, and also at host Jim Ross for losing control of the situation.

In honor of the hilarious Wrestlemania panel:

The image of Curtis Axel sitting on his own at that table made my jaw drop. That had to have been an opportunistic shot.

Wouldn't be surprised if they have Kane actually win his match tonight, but regardless he'd be sent off injured so he can go film his cinematic masterpiece.

If Bryan doesn't win the title, this company is completely fucked up. Forget the stupid "the chase is more entertaining" (be it vs Cena or Orton) or any other excuse. They need to capitalize on this now.

Average in the ring, zero personality, zero charisma, only pushed because of who his dad was. That picture seems about right to me.

Sure, but people take autographs just to get autographs. It was more the fact he didn't even have a handler.

I used to help set up these sorts of events in some of my college internships. What we would do is group everyone together, unpopular players with popular ones so that everyone was getting attention, and help spread out the queues. It would also prevent shit like that.

The one time I went to fan axxess at WM 2000 I went to nearly all the empty autograph lines like Michael Hayes because they were incredibly nice and appreciative and you got quality time with them. Even Bossman had a line a mile long and I was like hell no.

Razor Ramon in 2K14 means I'll totally buy the game this year. Probably at $40, but I'll buy it nevertheless.

I'm hoping that the arenas aren't lazy skins on the same generic framework (i.e., the WMX arena, if it's in, should look like the WMX arena, and not have a ramp, and the entrance should come opposite the 'hard camera'). Fingers crossed, but not having hopeful thoughts.

As much as I want this too, I dont think its possible. They gotta make the arenas all the same so guys with entrance props (like Del Rio's car, JBL's limo, ABA Taker's bike, etc) dont have clipping issues/running into things, etc

They can disable those intros and make them default to "standard" intros for those arenas.

I contend Christian had Del Rio pinned when Del Rio was trying to sink in the cross armbreaker and was flat on his back with Christian crouched over him for at least a 5 count.  It's the same scenario when a guy does a surfboard with his shoulders flat on the mat and the ref counts then.

I knew I couldn've have been the only one who saw that.

I must agree, but a lot of the setups are confusing to me since I haven't followed in a while. Big E and Ziggler split up? Who knew?

(I know: all of you who watch. :p)

JR said during the panel that the arenas were all modeled appropriately, ie the Silverdome looks like the Silverdome for Hogan-Andre. I'll believe it when I see it, seeing as how JR is one of the carniest shills in the business. I doubt they will go to the trouble of stuff like the side entrance for Wrestlemania 10, but they'll probably be least some effort put in.

HBK gave a legit, somber "Thank You" to CM Punk and Brock Lesnar for the match they just put on. That is some high praise indeed.
