Thanks OP.  Was able to the Fate/Stay Night Complete Collection dvd set for $23.30 because of this. I've been putting it off since March, but couldn't resist getting it for under $25.

Also threw in a couple cheap $1 DVDs from Amazon Warehouse Deals, so that I wouldn't have to pay for shipping.

As for the people worried about what Amazon will do to your Facebook account.  After ordering and using the discount, just untie the accounts.

I got in on this yesterday and still can't figure out what to get. At least I have a few days to decide.
Same here. There's nothing coming out soon that interests me, that I haven't already preordered for less (New Super Luigi U for $19.99), or that I'd pay nearly full price for, so hopefully something surfaces before the expiration date (8/22, IIRC?).

I have a question: I want to order something that is $25.19. Will i stil get free shipping after the -$5? Thanks

It works, i was weary because last time i did this, the credit didnt work after i messed up the checkout and lossed the credit. I think they fixed it now since they told me when my credit expires.

I also don't know what to get. I feel Saints and Splinter Cell will have huge price drops once GTA comes out.

It was such a pain to find $25 worth of stuff that was shipped by amazon. I ended up getting a toy for my son and duck tales vol.1 on DVD. So random.

If you preorder something now that is over the $25 and amazon drops the price below $25 later on before it ships do you still get the $5 credit off?

So if I got this right I can do this, and immediately delete the link and it's like nothing happened. Will there be something that links my FB account to my Amazon account after I delete the link?

Used towards a PS4 preorder. So far with my other credits it will be $336 shipped! Not a launch day console, but I'll take it!

Hmm. Maybe this is a bit too greedy but is it possible to buy giftcards with the credit? If someone has (or is willing to make) multiple amazon accounts* and a few quick fake facebook accounts (fake emails for these might be needed) then couldn't someone just go ahead and buy tons of $25 giftcards for themselves (to be redeemed on the original account) at just $20?

A 20% discount on plenty of things on amazon would be great with Christmas coming up. Assuming you had the funds for this and the will/time.

*It's been a while since I made mine so I can't remember how time consuming it is. Not sure if you can use the same credit/debit card on multiple accounts.

It's right in the OP.

Re-ordered Adventure Time: EtDBIDK! 3DS CE with it, thanks OP. Like Momouchi said above, barely cancels out NY tax, but better than nothing!

say word?! dang may have to cancel that then

Edit it says that I have to buy 70 dollars worth of stuff... (69.99)
Too late, GS managed to change the coupon requirements to $70 instead of $60 purchase.

EDIT: Maybe not? They changed it back again...for now.
