I've always wanted to play BioShock 2 - Minerva's Den DLC. This may or may not have just bumped itself up in the backlog priority list. What an awesome thing for 2K to do, seriously. Not to mention the removal of bad DRM. Praise be!

Indeed. Of course, now we are all going to expect every pub to step up in the same way and decapitate GFWL and give us free DLC in their next patch.

The next Dark Souls update better nix GFWL and include a free Early Access gift in my inventory for DSII.

I guess Im late to the party. I hope its ok to you guys as I sent alot of friend request too. Its nice to see who's playing what and pick up some hidden gems. Also those game recommendations like from JakeNoName helps alot.

I hadn't truly experienced how crappy DRM can be until I tried playing Batman AA. For some reason I can't get my GFWL account sync'd before playing the game. I can play the game, but can't save my progress.

Also, I'm currently locked out of the market for 10 days. Steam said I used a new comp or web browser, but that's a bold face lie. The only reason I can think of is because I erased a time map file from Victoria II. The game would get stalled on load up. Sucks, because I was close to getting level on my funds spent on the market. When that feature first popped up in ES I was appalled to see I was in the red over $12.

I just activated my retail key for Bioshock 2 PC! AWESOME! :D

And it came w/ Minerva's Den, too! Even more AWESOME!

This is how it's done, people!

Now, if we can get everybody else that used that G4WL to get on-board and do something like this! :D

Not just Minerva's den...all the dlc, apparently. Pretty insanely awesome.

 
Welp, after 3 days of constant failure, I finally got to run the initial race in GTA:Online.  Now THE CLOUD has me stuck in purgatory and I no longer can swap characters in single player.  That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more.  Time to get back to my neglected PC and add all the bundle fodder accumulated in the past couple weeks.

Retroactively adding a bunch of people from this this thread.  Might be nice to get some steamfriends who play something other than Pinball FX2.  That being said, if you play Pinball FX2, totally add me so I can sit at the bottom of your leaderboards.

And this is one of 5,000,000 reasons why I normally don't do MMO's, MP, or anything of that sort upon release - it's usually a disaster in more ways than you can think of.

Really sucks that it ruined your SP, as well - bleh.

I'm definitely bumping it up in my to playlist. I actually like Bioshock 2 proper a lot, and Minerva's Den is almost universally praised so I'm very excited to finally play it. Might playthrough B2 again just for the heck of it, I've been wanting to for a while ^_^

Oh, and incase anyone's curious:

Have you tried using the webstore, that seemed to work for me even though I can't sell from within the client at the moment. A few others have said this as well, so it's worth a shot (also way easier IMO since you can open two tabs and use ES to quickly find the stuff you want to price check from your inventory).

So, no one has mentioned that the Freedom Force: Freedom Pack is on sale for $3.74? ES/ITAD says that is cheaper than either game together has been recorded previously, though I thought I recall someone saying they were like $1 each quite some time ago. Or maybe that was just the voices in my head.

 
The Terraria update is sick. I barely survived a Goblin Horde attack so I go off to do other stuff. I go back to base. AND THEN THE GAME THROWS THE EYE OF CTHULHU AT ME. WHY.

(The actual attack lasted all of a minute since dawn came, but still!)

 
I got MouseCraft, but admittedly because it was Greenlit.


I'm debating it, but I'm rather annoyed at how well the little mascot succeeded at making me feel guilty about paying a dollar ¬_¬

Why not just get the original version on GOG? Plays really well and you can mod it to pretty much the same state that EE will be in, without the bugs and all the additional crap (at least that was the case for BG 1) and is much cheaper during sales. GOG patches it very well too.

This may be nostalgia, but BG2 is my favourite game of all time. I gave up life for 6 months playing this when it first came out.

Whelllp based on what I've read, it's not just nostalgia. I actually already bought BG2 on sale from GOG. I'm probably gonna hold out playing though until the EE comes out, and see what people make of it.

I almost got it too but did not because of that very reason:

Me: fuck you and your pathetic guilt trip attempt, I'm not giving you anything - I'll buy you in a bundle 6 months from now for $0.50.

I know the stuff was already in the game. But it's never thrown a boss event right after the other before. It usually waits a couple of in-game days to throw something else at me. The funny thing is, I was about to go kill a boss in one of the new biomes when this happened... MY HEART, AGH

I've seen a lot of new stuff, all the biomes are pretty cool. You should play it. Like. Now. :p
