So I guess I'll just go around killing all the NPCs now since I've gotten everything ready for playthrough dos?

Sounds like a plan.

Put the disc in your hand and squeeze tightly and  then wait  for DMC 5 made by platinum games because capcom had to sell their IP's

Finished my second playthrough of Costume Quest (first one being when it came out). A couple of thoughts: I wish the combat system had a little bit more depth to it. Maybe something to supplement the battle stamps. I also don't think there were enough battle stamps or enough things to spend your candy on. I ended up with close to 5k candy at the end and there really wasn't anything worthwhile to use it on.

There are really only 4 types of enemies that are reskinned too.

I love the atmosphere of the game though.
Yeah, the game was charming and I liked it's style and sense of humor. But the combat just grew to be too boring to keep playing it. Gave up somewhere around the shopping mall part.

Shit the guy in the lead for the mega man statue is #2 on the leaderboards oh well GG'S. I'll try again in 2 weeks

Since Okami is going to be pretty cheap I might give it another chance.

I remember it being boring on PS2, but maybe I like boring things more now.

I love Okami, and it's a gorgeous remake, but you're still gonna think it's boring.
Cause it is a lot of the time! :)

The worst thing about Okami is those fucking Charlie Brown voices. If only I could turn just those off without having to mute all sound effects... the HD release would be worth whatever price I bought it for.

Oh wow a game frosty hates shocker.

I don't even think he likes video games, btw this sleepy hollow show is badass. I'M IN!

Well, I mean I don't really care how gorgeous it looks if it's boring.

You know? And the voices are annoying since it's like the same 3 seconds of "talking" repeating over and over.

Can you get a discount if you only buy DMC 1 and 3?
If only, if only...

Hmm, I might have to do that as well. I've been trying to downsize on my physical games lately.
Same. My living space is a lot smaller and whenever I move in with my gf eventually I'm sure I'm going to have even less space, so it's better to downsize while I can. For the most part I'm even liking trading the irl space for HDD space.

You'll still think it's boring. I thought it was boring on PS2/Wii, but I still bought it on PS3 and I still think it's kinda boring. Sure, it's gorgeous, but the gameplay just doesn't do much for me.

The biggest problem for me was that the game was too long.

Then I found it it's really like 3 games all mashed into one (the first game ending around the time you defeat Orochi, for example).

I was sooo... tired... of... okami... by the time I finished it. It definitely took over 40 hours... but for a "zelda" type game, that's waaaaay too long for me.

You're right. It is too long. When I got it on the Wii I probably got about halfway through it and just couldn't bring myself to go anymore. I expected to finish it finally on PS3, but I don't think I even beat Orochi. Maybe it just never got its hooks in me, I don't know.

Kinda funny to see with how Skyward Sword took me over 50 hours on my first try, so the most recent actual Zelda game was a longer one haha

What's... Skyward Sword?

I think Twilight Princess was about the same length as Okami if you did a lot of the extra stuff... but that game never felt like a chore to me. I think part of my problem with Okami is also with the pacing -- because it was 3 shorter games mashed into 1 large one, you get that feeling like it should be over and then SURPRISE, it's just beginning... and then you get to do that a 3rd time. Combine it with some, at times, annoying mechanics regarding the celestial brush and it just becomes more tiresome than Zelda games, normally. At least for me.

Fair enough, I never actually played Okami myself so I can't really compare it, but that makes sense. The pacing in the Zelda games is usually pretty good, and if that is messed up I could see how that could change how people see those games.

Yeah Okami took me right around 40 hours. Skyward Sword was a little over 50 as well for me.

Loved both and didn't find either too long. But 3d Zelda type games are some of my favorites as I like the exploring, easy combat etc.
