Free Stuff - Needs Updating

There are quite a few free and free2play games and mods on steam. You can find a full list here. Note that free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.

Just a quick scan, but I believe these are some of the recent bundled Greenlight games from the list. I have no clue if Steam keys will be provided, but noteworthy perhaps. Maybe I missed a few but these titles stood out.

Zigfrak
Vanguard Princess
Survivor Squad
Suguri Collection (Suguri + Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD)
Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages
Frozen Hearth
Eryi's Action
99 Spirits
Also, I Shall Remain and Private Infiltrator from the Build a Greenlight Bundle and Particulars from Be Mine 9.

Just pulled the trigger on a Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB. Cost me $350 CAD plus $45 sales tax but at least it comes with AC4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Arkham Origins. I plan to sell all 3 games so let me know if anyone wants to buy em.

Love when games from previous bundles get Greenlit, it's like a gift from my past-self.

Hate when said games are in Indie Royale and I passed 'cause it was overpriced like always.

Pretty good Halloween sale. Vampire: The Masquerade is finally back at 75% off.

And Foul Play coupons stack with the 50% discount if anyone's wondering. I do love beat-em-ups, might grab a 2-pack.
I'm kinda sorta interested in Foul Play. If you want to split that 2-pack let me know. I also have the coupons.

I think I'm also going to pick up Shadowman for $2.49.

You guys thinking about getting Typing of the Dead, it's already cheaper on GMG, with 20% coupon code.

Also, I Shall Remain and Private Infiltrator from the Build a Greenlight Bundle and Particulars from Be Mine 9.
A few more...

Oozi: Earth Adventure from IR Valentine's Bundle 2.0 and Groupees BAGB1.

The Real Texas from IR Spring Sun and IndieGameStand.

Beast Boxing Turbo from IR Debut 2.0.

Deadly 30 from Groupees BAB2 and Build a Meridian4 Mega.

Holy Avatar vs. Maidens of the Dead from Groupees Bundle of the Undead and Build a M4 Mega.

Tales of Maj'Eyal from IR Debut 3.0

See, lots of Indie Royale. :[

Good lord, Once you get near 500 games, you start to believe you have everything you might want. And then Steam comes and bends you over the table and makes you squeal like a pubescent at a 1D concert. At least during the winter sale there wasn't much that I wanted, but this... this is bad...

^Spelunky is a Humble Bundle game if I ever saw one. I'd wait.

Here's a revised Greenlight list, thanks to Neuro5i5 and Deuterium7. Feel free to point out any omissions.

3079 (IR Alpha Collection 1, IndieFort 2, IndieFort Championship, IndieGameStand)

99 Spirits (IR The Alaska Bundle)

Beast Boxing Turbo (IR Debut 2.0)

Deadly 30 (Groupees BAB2, Groupees Build a Meridian4 Mega, IndieGameStand)

Eryi's Action (Groupees BAGB1, Indie Gala October)

Frozen Hearth (Groupees BAGB4)

Holy Avatar vs. Maidens of the Dead (Groupees Bundle of the Undead, Groupees Build a Meridian4 Mega)
I Shall Remain (Groupees BAGB1)
Oozi: Earth Adventure (IR Valentine's Bundle 2.0, Groupees BAGB1)

Particulars (Groupees BM9)

Private Infiltrator (Groupees BAGB1)
The Real Texas (IR Spring Sun, IndieGameStand)

Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages (Groupees BM9, IndieGameStand)

Suguri Collection (Suguri + Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition HD) (Groupees Let's Build a Doujin 2, IR The Summer Bundle)

Survivor Squad (Indie Gala June)

Tales of Maj'Eyal (IR Debut Bundle 3)

Vanguard Princess (Groupees Let's Build A Doujin 2)

Zigfrak (Groupees BAGB4, IndieGameStand)

As someone who has a good portion of the Halloween games on sale, I must admit Steam really outdid themselves with this sale.  One of their better ones in years.

Also, greenlit games = awesome.

Particulars, Suguri, and Oozi seem tight. I'm looking forward to redeeming those fur shizzle.

Because outside of one other time they typically don't do nearly that many at once.
Better get used to it. Valve is positioning Steam to become a content distribution network where pretty much anyone can put anything they want for sale. Valve will of course still take their cut (though hopefully it won't be the 30% they charge now) but without actually doing much. This means that all this Greenlight nonsense won't matter at all in the future since anyone will be able to put their game on Steam. Of course, we'll all be locked into Steam and its "account model" (i.e. DRM) forever, but at least we'll all have thousands of games in our Steam libraries!

Is it worth buying Joe Danger or should I just skip it and just grab Joe Danger 2 instead of the bundle.

So are you saying I should be selling or buying TF2 hats now?

When did Typing of the Dead Overkill get on Steam?!?!

Today.

If I wanted just one of the Legacy of Kain games which one should I buy?

Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime? Fun? No?
As someone who likes bad games... no. NO. This is crap. It's horrible. It spits on the Ghostbusters franchise and laughs at it. I bought it 'cause hey, Ghostbusters. But your teammates' AI is even dumber than a goldfish and that kills any fun you could have with it.

Oh, and there's no online co-op. Only local.

Anyone got a 3-day pass for TSW? I'm tempted to pick it up on sale.
I'm interested in it as well. However from reading the Steam forums for the game, it sounds like I should get the "massive" edition. That would be about $15-$20 out of my price range. Anybody know if the difference is worth double the price?

Surprising to read it has no online co-op. It was the only feature that made the game as fun as it could be on console. Although that still was not very fun.

There are sooo many games I want here. There's also a sale on GOG, picked up a few older games there. Gabriel knight trilogy, alone in the dark trilogy, sanitarium. I really didn't expect to be getting this many things...just waitin for the panda now.
