You're better off playing the game without that item. I feel like it would ruin the experience for a first-time player.

 
I had the same glitch (I actually get it every time there's a free game). I remove it from my cart, sign out and sign in again and its usually fixed. I always though it was them forgetting I was Plus.

Also, you really should pay a lot better attention in the future. I hope you get the refund.

I get that glitch all the time on the free and sometimes sale items. I just assume that my computer forgets I'm Plus.

I know that it was available for the EU Plus subscribers last month, but I don't know if it's still there this month and here in the US as well, because I've never heard of anyone experiencing the kind of glitch you are talking about.

I've never played a F2P before, but this looks really good. There is such a great buzz about this game. Has anyone played the PC version? I heard that combat gets a little boring after awhile, but it still looks great. Thanks for the pre-order heads up! 7 days left!

I've played a bit of the PC version and it's a pretty competent third person shooter with some interesting melee combat. I did find that it was rather difficult playing on my lonesome, as it seems very much geared toward co-op, but part of that could have been me struggling with the M&KB controls which are a bit clunky. I did have a lot of fun with it though and will definitely be going back when I find the time, and hopefully someone to play with ^_^

 
I "pre-ordered" it, even though it might be a few years before I get a PS4 (unless there's an emergency $100 price drop 6 months after release!! :) )

This is why I que things to download and mark the "shutdown after download completes" box. This also installs the game, just like PS+ overnight downloads. Its obnoxious when you just want to play the damned game but at least you aren't sitting around waiting for it and watching digital paint dry.

I'm feeling like I've already made the right choice by going PS4 as opposed to the XBOX One. With PS PLUS a vita, a ps3, and a PS4 soon it just makes sense since I'm really going to try to stick to 1 console this gen. The great PSN sales don't hurt either.

It's worth another playthrough. You won't regret it. I had purchased a brand new copy of Dragon's Dogma from Neweggs just a few weeks ago for $10, and this past Tuesday I took off the sealed wrapper just to put the game in and get a save file for the Eternal Ferrystone in DD: DA. With it I am able to use one vocation to level up my vocation levels for their augmentations, and switching to another vocation just right before I level up for its HP, STA, STR, MAG, MAG DEF points of which ever one I prefer. It's absolutely worth it. I hope you'll give it another try when you get the chance. You can thank me later. :beer:

Finally got into Sound Shapes. The campaign started slow but became really charming and difficult. Now the dreaded death levels I've heard you guys talk about are kicking my ass.

I've played a bit of the PC version and it's a pretty competent third person shooter with some interesting melee combat. I did find that it was rather difficult playing on my lonesome, as it seems very much geared toward co-op, but part of that could have been me struggling with the M&KB controls which are a bit clunky. I did have a lot of fun with it though and will definitely be going back when I find the time, and hopefully someone to play with ^_^

I believe they are also eventually going to send an email with the link to the credit per the fine print of the promotion. Perhaps they are going to wait a few days or a week, and then email out to those who have not yet renewed the credit. That is so people who only own a Vita can claim the credit.

Apparently they did about two weeks ago. Separate accounts between PC and PS4 but you can make a one time copy of your PC account to PS4. Cross platform play is confirmed but not available at day 1. They say the reason for both things is that the update timing for the builds means that it's different and that they have to get to the point where both will always be in sync before they can enable cross platform play.

So I joined that TrueTrophy site and they instantly put me under investigation. Iv never hacked r cheated any trophies. I think Im pretty high up there so I guess they r just being cautious and no way someone flagged me. I joined at 4am (feedn n changn baby) and it got flagged seconds later. No big deal but strange, anyone else have to wait/instant investigation? peace all.

Probably from all of those early mornin trophies u get, lol. From one dad to another we both know that u get your game on whenever downtime is available. You can sleep when you're dead.

If you unlocked like 5 or more trophies in the same minute you will usually get flagged automatically. And with dual plat cross saves it may cause a problem unfortunately. It sucks. Hopefully you get cleared.

Does anyone know if the 7 day ps+ trial from Killzone Shadowfall and some of the other games stack with current ps+ membership? This may indicate whether the 30-day ps+ trial with ps4 would stack.

I saw people saying they're getting bad download speeds on their PS3, what speeds are you actually getting? Mine averages just under 1mb/second.

Ha, I have been waiting for someone to bump this up. There is a specific strategy that you need to employ with kids.
#1. Volunteer to do the late night feeding.
Give him his bottle as fast as possible. Then sit him in front of you while you play a game. The lights will keep him up longer, allowing you to say "He was not asleep yet."
#2. Then sleep in since you were up so late with the kid that would not go to sleep.
#3. As he gets older, give him a controller that does not work. He will teeth on it, barf on it etc. This allows you to buy newer stuff.
#4. When he is about 3, he realizes that his controller does not correlate to the screen. (This is after trying things like giving him a controller that is not synced, wired ,etc.) This is where it gets fun...
#5. Any game that you want, you buy. When the wife questions the purchase, say it is for daddy/son time. Mothers DIG that stuff.
#6. If the game is M, just tell her you are introducing these things to him in a "safe environment." It allows us to talk about these questionable activities.

Just a thought from 12 years of experience. hehe My kids love games, and I love playing them with them!!

My wife got mad at me the other day because our 5 year old daughter asked her to play GTA5. She woke up early one morning and saw me playing it so I just did a race or two and drove around the world which is what i know she likes to see. The wife wasnt happy the next day when she handed her the case!

Need to work on the mommy angle a bit...  I would try going down the "allows me to show her the consequence of bad actions road..."  But when that got tenuous, I would rethink my strategy...

I was wondering how you posted a message but were not on the leaderboard. I expect it will get straightened out. It just gives me a little bit longer to be in 2nd instead of third :)

If there is one thing TA and TT suck at. Its banning people. They ban you whether you cheated or not just for having some achievements/trophies unlock at the same time. Joining a hacked lobby that unlocks all achievement for example will get you banned. I don't know if hacked lobbies exist on PS3 and they are extremely rare on 360 as well. I managed to join one through a quick match and didn't know until random achievements unlocked. I ended up getting banned on TA.

I've got a 50 megabit connection which equals 6.25 MB/sec. It's wired via a MoCA connection through my coaxial to a switch in the living room that has an ethernet to various devices. I get the full 50 megabit if I hook a laptop up to it. My Xbox 360 is super fast. My ultra high HD netflix never buffers. My 7.1 1080p VUDU stream never buffers. The PS3 download is garbage in comparison and can't use the full connection.

Hmmm yeah that lots of trophies in a min could be a problem...  I just beat TLOU survivor+ and it popped 7 trophies at once. Thats crazy legit on my end tho. so after they check i should be clear. i havnt received a single email either cept email verification.id get more trophies if i didnt play CoD 90% of free time. I LOVE those gamer parent tips too, im guilty of all of them. "yeah honey, he falls asleep well to gunshots and explosives..."

I think if Rainbow Moon ends up coming through with a sweet discount, I'm going to just get it for Vita. I really want to play it again, but even when I was playing it on PS3, it always felt like something that should've been handheld.
