Oh yeah. I snapped that sucker up in the first 30 minutes of the holiday sale (thanks to Neuro). Buying that is what put the game on my radar. It's a pity that it uses GFWL. :`(

Though if I still have a crap load of wallet money left over at the end of the sale, I might gamble on the possibility of GFWL getting removed from the game and buy it.

 
I think the first episode of A Wolf Among Us is much better than the first episode of Telltales Walking Dead Season 1, Episode 1. We will see if the series is actually better.

(I knew nothing about A Wolf Among Us "Fables" comics I think they are called prior to playing the game. And it still was pretty awesome.)

Not yet. I had full intention of playing it immediately, but then I got on this RPG kick. I may try to squeeze it in after Skyrim, but am afraid I'll lose my momentum and won't want to start up Dark Souls. Despite what everyone and the reviews say, there's just something that draws me to this game. I find it visually appealing in setting as the time period is one that I generally enjoy.

Even taking out the zombie thing tho (i dont like zombies because they get way too much exposure) telltale made some substantial improvements over TWD...the action is way better, more tense, the main character can semi-run, the premise is one that hasn't been done 329048320948 times. Oh wait that last bit is related to zombies my bad

word...if you've never played dark souls you should. then play xcom and lemme kno if it's worth a buy. after seeing a few previews i was pretty interested...then it got bombed by reviews

It's certainly not all bad.

That;s my point though. There isn't a ton of action in TWD series so it is true to the series and TWD isn't your typical, overdone zombie game.

So on the one hand the complaint is it is typical. But then it lacks action so then the complaint is that it isn't typical enough since most typical zombie games are just here's a gun shoot everything that moves.

I really wanted to like his posts (and you'll note I usually "like" code drops) but explicitly being asked to do rubs me the wrong way. Instead of "likes" being genuine feelings, it's debased into some commerce transaction.

When I say zombies are overdone I mean im just sick of seeing zombies in general. As a monster they just dont interest me anymore, not so much that i'm sick of zombie game gameplay because

If we doing one near me - I'd certainly throw Capone's, Cristo's, Cape Cod Cafe, Town Spa Pizza, Lynwood Cafe, Pizzeria Regina (North End), Santarpio's on the list. :D

Also gotta put Marc Anthony's (in Wareham) in the list.

For those who've seen the movie The Way Way Back, that place is in there - it's where Sam Rockwell and that kid play an arcade game at. :D

I bought the Gold Edition on GG (which included DRM Free and Steam versions) for $3.25, so I hope it's good. That's about all I can offer.

GG? I guess I'll skip it since the DLC costs more than double the core game at these prices.

BTW, anyone have a code for Jamestown for sale/trade? I started playing it and a buddy of mine wants to coop it with me so I want to pick it up for him.
