For any other backers of the Double Fine Kickstarter campaign, I just received my email with Broken Age part 1 Humble Bundle link!  I activated it via Steam so I'm hoping to play it either tonight or tomorrow.  Can't wait!

I think something's wrong with me.  I'm looking at bundles and rationalizing that I can't imagine when I'll get around to playing the games, and then... bear with me here... not buying them.

I think that's because they're especially bad.

 
So we have Indie Gala, Groupees, Bundle Stars, Game Rage and Humble bonus all releasing on the same day, makes me wonder if they are trying to complete their popularity with each other or Tuesday is simply bundle day?

Can someone give me a reason not to buy the Star Wars Knights pack off of Jake for $5? I just can't imagine the full pack will ever have a large discount like it has in the past.

I really want there to be a game called Laxative Force. I'd buy it, which isn't saying much, but still.

Still waiting on Freedom Fall from Groupees. Couldn't get that Desura trick mentioned earlier to work.

i can't in good conscience advise anybody not to bite. I bought it...it looks like disney REALLY doesn't want to give any good discounts. When KOTOR was featured as a daily, it was just half off. WHen dark forces 2 was a flash sale, it was just 40% off. Now you can get that game in the pack from Jakenome, along with 4 others, for 5 bucks. That's about as good as you're gonna get. Maybe Disney will learn, and start selling it at lower prices, but if they do, I'm willing to bet it won't happen for awhile.

I think it's a sales tactic. Show everyone a shitty price during seasonal sales, then afterwards.. have a better sale, but still not "good" to make people give up and buy it. It's pretty smart, if that's the case.
