I'm not sorry to have missed contributing to the diet pop and exercise discussion. I will say this, though.

It's "lose" weight. If you're "loosing" weight, that suggests you are letting it go free to terrorize the populace.

Yeah I could see that. It's definitely easier than the old school point and click adventure games, but I don't think I can go back to those games now. The first adventure game I ever played was Al Lowe's Torin's Passage... which I completed but did not really enjoy. The first adventure game that I LOVED was Sam and Max Hit the Road, but I do remember the puzzles were relatively simple in that game. Then again, if I were to go back to that game now, I wonder if I'd be just as frustrated... nostalgia is a dangerous thing.

I replayed Sam and Max Hit The Road back when Telltale was on their second of their three Sam and Max games. I can attest that it holds up well.

Since Capcom keeps re-releasing old games (see RE4 HD coming to Steam) and adding content in some of them (How many re-released of SF4 will there be?) - will Capcom EVER put out a FINAL Definitive Version?

I think I know that this is a leading question and that the answer is, "No."

Ignoring Capcom specifically, can anything technology-based (games, films, etc.) EVER have a final definitive version? Everything either gets a rerelease/reprint/update or fades into obscurity and irrelevance as the platform evolves. Everything worth continuing to enjoy (or sell) will see a version on a future format eventually. It seems to me that having an honest-to-goodness final release would be a death knell, even on a persistent* platform like Steam.

*because Steam will totally outlive us all in its current format

Bookmarked for later reading. I got out of it that I might want to buy a tv with wireless built in, but comparing the confusing options after that gave me a headache. I'm wondering it there is a reasonable wireless solution that is reliable, hi-res, and won't cost $200.

Well my idea is to avoid wires. Otherwise I could just use the 25-ft HDMI cable I already have. Thanks for the input, though, I didn't know HDMI to ethernet existed.

I forgot about this; thanks for the reminder. Could potentially use my Mac mini or gf's laptop to receive the stream. I guess the big question mark is the strength of the wireless network. Definitely something to keep in mind, though.

Hmmm, reading up on it, it seems it is impossible.

Plex is good for video, but doesn't seem to work on games. Seems only way would be wireless HDMI or direct connect to TV. Anything wirelessly seems to lead to way to much delay to make anything playable

You could try powerline adapters if the wifi isn't enough. I think they come in 200-400 Mbps flavors and will probably do better than wireless, especially in an apartment with so many interfering routers around.
