  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Agreed, it was one of the most atmospheric and original games I played this gen.

Only con is that it really is a journey that is too short.

Skyrim is nothing like Diablo III. Look up Sacred 2: Fallen Angel instead. Might be able to find a cheap copy.

Skyrim is more like Oblivion than it is Diablo. If you didn't care for Oblivion you most likely won't like Skyrim but it is only ten bucks for a huge game and your tastes may have changed.

 
Wish Tony Hawk would have been a dollar or two cheaper. I want it, just can't seem to spend $5 on it for some reason.

I recommend Brothers to anyone that hasn't played it yet. Incredible game.

I posted the exact same question and it seems the consensus was no, as LFD2 dlc incorporates all the maps from the first I think. Only reason would be for achievments.

Seconded, I highly recommend Brothers, for $4 it's a steal. It's an amazing game, the only criticism I have is that it's fairly short. As for someone else who said it was buggy, I played through the whole thing with zero problems.

 
Darksiders is a love/hate game. Couple of my friends loved it, while myself and another friend hated it. I just couldn't get into it. To me it just felt like recycled gameplay with a different skin.

To be fair though I just restarted Deadly Premonition (was about halfway through and stopped playing for a year) though, so to each their own. Our tastes are all different lol.
 
I think Brothers get praised a little too much,I played it on the PS3 and thought the game was ok but not amazing how everyone seems to make it.I found it to be boring but that's just my opinion.

I would buy TWD season 2 Ep.1 but I never played all the episodes for season 1 instead I just watched a youtuber play through it.

Brothers was ok. I snagged it during the Christmas sale. But, it got boring toward the end.

TWD S2E1 for a buck? Couldn't pass on that. I am kind of hesitant to buy the season pass after the TWAU debacle though.
 
Guess I'm in the minority but I thought Brothers was a overhyped piece of shit game.  The story was okay, but I just dont feel like it deserves all of the attention it gets.  At $4 its not a terrible buy if you are curious, but its going to be something you're likely to only play once

 
Haven't finished TWD season 1 yet, so i'm not sure if i should go ahead and grab ep.1 of season 2 at only .99, then again, i'm almost positive it will probably be available free in the future

Did TWD season 1 ep1 also get the $.99 price before eventually being free? I wish 400 days was discounted again too...

If TWAU is planned to be done by summer's end (according to the season pass info on the console, no idea if it's a placeholder date) then maybe TWD season 2 will be heavily discounted by next December for the holidays.

So the biggest thing is the film guy who was the main game design for the game went through some really troubling war torn childhood stuff, which can be seen related to the events that happen in the game, but the biggest thing is Brothers made a very new experience with a touching story as well. I agree, felt it was a little short but it's just the right length picking it up on sale now.

Viking, lol, I remember reading previews for that in ... magazines!

 
Just Brothers for me. Already own Viking and Darkness 2 and I think the rest of the games needed a few more bucks knocked off before I'd consider them.

I enjoyed viking but I was just powering through towards the end. I really liked the Darkness 2. One of the few games I started a new game + immediately after finishing. pretty easy 1000 gs as well.

Just go through the purchase with your credit card. It should prompt you to use the remaining balance. At least it did for me a couple months ago.

I signed in only to agree with this. The more I played it the more I got into it. Ended up being one of my favorite games this year.

Brothers was great not because it was a great game, but because it is unlike anything else out there. It was refreshing. I feel that it's short length was necessary for the game not to get stale. You have to be pretty jaded to say it's a crappy game.

Grabbing TWD for sure! I might look into some of the others but having already played Tomb Raider, none of them are very interesting. If you missed Brothers the first time, do yourself a favour and pick it up this time. 

 
I thought brothers was great. I couldn't put it down. I felt like it could have been longer and actually hope for more like this or a sequel or a prequel. ( I know its not really possible)

Actually nope, think I got it in a steam sale for like $5. Just expected more from it the way people raved about it (fwiw I have an older brother, but dont have a father, so maybe the story just couldnt resonate with me).

If i had paid $15 dollars i would have thought it was an overhyped and overpriced piece of shit game

I bought two used copies last year and never finished it. It's a horrifying mess that should be suffered through with friends.

Also, I paid five dollars a copy.

They have been having that problem recently. I had to delete and re-download Dante's Inferno three times before it actually downloaded fully.

Constantly. I usually set the Xbox to download while I'm asleep.

Looks like my Gold account expires tomorrow. I always see 12 months going on sale, but do 3 month cards/codes ever go on sale?

 
Once a month it seems Tomb Raider goes on sale and every single time I think "That game looks like a lot of fun, that's a great price, I should add it to my backlog" but then I wait because I keep assuming it will keep popping up for 10-15 bucks and it's just going to go into my backlog anyway. At this rate I should just buy it because I'm never going to concur my backlog anyways
