no

I'd do it if I had enough to trade in to get it for 30 bucks like I did with my PS4, but I just can't pull the trigger at that price yet. Not for the two games I'd be interested in. One of which I can still get elsewhere. Some day though.
exactly one day. Dead rising 3 is being bought on the first day doe by the time I get it'll be a greatest hits with all of the DLC on the disc. W00t

O_O

Gosh. Stop trying to make people buy a paperweight of regret.

So is anyone getting that new Yoshi game?
The amount of hours I've logged on this thing is probably higher then most if you people in here with your systems, no regrets! Plus higher playerbase on Titanfall! (from what I saw/heard, may be wrong though)

Also I will be getting the game with the green Dinosaur

Two games for the price of one. Its why i bought zelda at launch but have yet to even beat it or play the other one... money well spent

Get Titanfall.

The reviews for Yoshi are making me think twice about getting it. Unless it has a streetpass feature, I'll probably pass for now.

I just don't see me getting much time to sink my teeth into Titanfall any time soon. I can at least play 3DS games walking through the halls at the office. Be surprised how much play time you can squeeze in that way.

Those reviews are landing pretty much where I expected.

huehuehuehue.

Ok lux, I will just get another copy of Animal Crossing 3DS for myself to qualify for dat free Pokemans deal.  I gave my original copy to my daughter.

thanks for following me on twitter whoknows makes me look good to fgc sponsors when they see you have higher followers

oh...

Been super busy the past week. Run Run Run

Need for Speed The Run is a cool racing game. The QTE stuff was dumb, but the racing parts were real good. I've always liked racing games with a little story to them. Makes me wish for a RPG/Racing game hybrid. Like Persona, but instead of going to the midnight channel to fight monsters, you race douche-bags.

I mean, if it needs to not look as great as it could so that way the frame rate stays consistent (is that how this works) then I'm down.

I mean, Frosty played through DS on the 360, which is probably one of the most poorly optimized games on consoles, so I'm kind of befuddled at his reception right now, that this is where he draws the line.

I mean, I get it, people like graphics. I've seen the videos and can totally make out the difference between the two builds and it's clearly worse, but I'm just astonished by people calling it "half a product." (not that Frost is saying this, but he doesn't even want to buy it now so...)

I mean.
It's more about displaying a product and then delivering something that looks nothing like what the public was lead to believe. It's kind of like what Kojima did with Raiden in MGS2, but instead of switching a character, you get a game that looks and plays differently than was shown in various demos and betas leading up to the release. People preordered the game (myself included) based on the footage shown and the game put forth in the betas/demos. To give no warning of the drastic change to the product shown and let people preorder and find out about it when they brought the game home and played it is bullshit.

And I never played DS on the x360. I platinumed it on PS3, which was better performance than x360 by all accounts. At this point I'm glad that I'm not playing it on consoles and I could not be one of the unfortunate customers who received a product which was not the same as what was advertised.

As uraizen said to me last night, "I just want companies to stop lying to us".

If the PC version looks like the game that was originally shown and sold to us as Dark Souls II, I'll reconsider it.

Most of my decisions to not purchase things have to do with principles, not something as superficial as graphics, though graphics may be a symptom of the cause of my decision to pass on a game. For example: I said I would not buy and support Rayman Legends Vita until the patch to add the large amount of missing content was released. And I did not purchase it. :p

If I could go super hipster for a second -- The whole point of MGS2 was the misrepresentation of information. You were part of the game and its lies the moment the marketing started.

Not that I don't agree with you. Kojima's an asshole.

Oh okay, let's not bring up Watch Dawgs then.
That's another game Rai Rai and I talked about in our conversation about developers misleading consumers.

And The Division was also mentioned.

Oh, MGS2 was brilliant... looking back on it. The internet wasn't what it is now and Kojima kind of used a bunch of things with the way media was changing to make a point around the game using the game. I wasn't one of the people *that* pissed off by the lack of Snake though.

That's why I used kinda... but the kinda was because Kojima did it with a purpose and also because the game did resemble an MGS game afterwards, it just had a different character... I'm not sure what purpose FROM/Namco Bandai had behind this downgrade they've surprised console owners with, but when you look at that footage in the video (check the part where they look out over the bridge and the demo has lava with lizards crawling in it and a bunch of awesome looking stuff going on and the retail has a puke texture tiled all over with a couple of fire plumes). To me the game being shown in retail footage hardly resembles the footage shown beforehand... even more so, by what minor accounts I've read, they've changed a bunch of things in terms of level/gameplay design for reasons that aren't apparent. Some people are claiming it's because of performance concerns, but if that's the case, they should have made it known and released a new trailer or something, I think.

Whoa whoa whoa, we haven't even seen more about the Division and are not anywhere close to release date yet so stop right there.

That cop car is going to turn out just fine.

i will wait for it to drop to $10 or under like the typical ubisoft games. they would of gotten my $120 for my preorder Ce, if they didn't delay the release date. i cancelled my preodered, after i heard the delay news

Not that I don't agree with you, but the framerate in dark souls was atrocious.

I'm fully convinced a technically competent developer can pull off a better dark souls esque game than From Software.

Get Titanfall.

How's the optmization of Titanfall on PC?

"Mislead" is a pretty strong word. I don't think any devs intend to mislead anyone. There's definitely a level of sell and hype that they are required to do because their ultimate goal is to make money and let everyone make a living so more games can be made. The process of making a game can be fluid according to resource/time constraints and whatnot. I think it's kind of a waste of energy to get upset over stuff that gets changed or left out in the end.

It's up to consumers to decide if the game will be rewarded with sales or not, of course, but not supporting a game in this day and age will likely mean that the game isn't going to get a sequel or other iteration.

As for Dark Souls' framerate, I didn't encounter anything so bad on PC after Durante.

hehe Titanfall looks better on PC than XBO.
hehe it will probably sell better on the One :p

Nah, still buying it, I've already bought/enjoyed all the games with so-so reviews, so I don't really go off them much anymore.

At least we get the game, a lot of companies probably wouldn't touch a game like that.

This as well, if we want these smaller companies to keep making these type of games you basically have to buy them

I'm fairly certain the PC user base is still larger than the XBO user base. :p
I know! But they are promoting the crap out of it on the One specifically, and last I saw the One was getting more pre-orders (granted PC people will be mainly digital, some One people will as well). But it also helps that there aren't many games out on the new consoles yet so that might make more people pick it up compared to on PC where there are essentially and infinite amount of shooters and everyone waits for a sale on games anyways lol. You'll be set for a long time no matter which of the three systems you buy it for though, not like you'll have trouble finding a match on any of them.

Guys, I have the money to get a PS4, but I think I'm just going to the PS3 bundle with The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins and probably just grab Dark Souls 2 with it, am I dumb? Don''t get me wrong, I want a PS4, but there's nothing I want to play on it right now and I also have a bunch of PS+ and exclusives to catch up on since I never owned a PS3
