I didn't see this posted, so I'm doing it.  My local Big Lots in Seymour, IN has red stars stamped on every video game signifying that they are 30% off.  I know that game selection varies, but I don't know if all stores are doing this or not.  I picked up Hitman Absolution XBX for $9.  I know it has been about a dollar cheaper, but that sale is over and the game sold out early anyway.  Some PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, DS, and Wii games may be found for $7 up to $13.  Some are deals and some are not.

Selection is VERY limited now. Some stores are completely sold out. Most others only have what others have rejected so far, but you may find a diamond in the rough.

Let me know what they have for PS3. That's a long ass drive to come up with nothing. I'm over on the east side near Channelview(Beltway/Wallisville store is closest).

 
Nooo...I've gone back 5 times now & to 3 different stores!
But my local store is so well stocked I have to go lol. Now I have to find my receipts again.

It's too bad it never had anything I actually went there for (just wanted the skylander bundle, RE archives gun bundle, & the goldeneye controller bundle).

Can't trade yet, too new a member, but I have:
Dead Island
Professor Layton
Shinobi
Street Fighter 3D Edition
Left 4 Dead

For the RE gun bundle or the goldeneye bundle.
Plus I can probably find quite a few other games at my local store if nothing on this list interests ya. Lemme know.

Wow Thanks to the cag who posted the 90 % off drop

Three different BL had placed the games the had behind the registers pretty much way in the back with other crap that no one would go through . Nice haul including Zelda's , Layton's , Sing it with Mics , Wii Party with remotes , Elder Scrolls , L4D , DI , Bunch of 3ds games bought altogether about 45-50 games . Some of it will go into easter baskets ( Looking at you Barbie , Monster High and Lallaloopsie ! ) and two Xbox steering wheels and one U-Draw .

 
Has any price adjusted yet? It's within 30 days still, I'm gonna go today.

Update: Was able to price adjust, got like, $50 back.

Grabbed DJ Hero 2, Supremacy MMA, Motionsports Adrenaline, and Disney Sing It for about $5 total. All garbage but was all that was left and can't argue with that price. Was hoping they would still have the Sing It bundle with the mics but no luck.
 
There were around 5 Sing It Bundles last time I was at Big Lots. Hopefully, they're still there when I go out Grocery Shopping tomorrow. 

 
I went to Torrance big lots for some stuff and noticed they have a refurbished kinect w/ game for ~$20 after discount if anyone wants one. There was about 3, they are in the glass case with other random crap
 
I went and checked mine yesterday. Had Dead Island, Mass Effect 2, Midnight Club Los Angeles, Splinter Cell 3DS, that Michael Phelps Kinect game and the Disney Sing It (disc only). I already had everything I wanted, so I passed. Also couldn't find my receipt for a price adjustment, but I got everything at 70% so I guess I can't complain.

Are those for PS3? I definitely would be all over Dead Island and Midnight Club. By chance is this store local to you, could we trade?

 
So here's my short story...

Ignored this thread entirely when the sale was 30%, didn't bother going until 50% though. Just found scraps in the end, that's what I get for waiting. Grabbed a few things, though I decided most of which I was going to just return, I only bought because it was cheap (around $5 per game).

Today I went to return some games I bought but I heard about the 90%, so I asked the rep before I return the games, can you let me know the price now after an adjustment, so that if they're discounted so heavily I'll just keep them. Final results, before price, and after adjustment. Spoiler alert: I kept everything.

Purchased price // final price after 90% adjustment

  • Shinobi 3DS - $2.50 // $1.00
  • GTA IV PS3 - $4.72 //  $1.88
  • Lucha Libre PS3 - $2.50 // $1.00
  • EA Sports Active 2 PS3 - $3.75 // $1.50
  • uDraw bundle PS3 - $2.50 // $1.00

In the end all of the above cost me $6.76 total after tax.

 
A few games from this madness I never saw that I would've picked for the price but oh well.

I know the store nearest me still had a copy of Left4Dead last week wonder if it's still there?

So are the 360 wireless wheels part of this? I thought they were but a week or so ago I went to get one and it came up full price.
 
Mostly all good stuff is gone here.
I got 5 of the goldeneye 007 collectors editions for Wii( has game and golden wii classic controller) $3 each!

and bought last two games they had top spin 4 and virtua tennis 4(or sum number) they were a 1.20 so figured why not

 
I bought one of those wireless speed wheels. Came up "full price" bought I though, 20 bucks isn't a bad deal.
They are utter crap. still need to go back and try to return in.
Lack of LB and RB is a real killer..

 
I happened to be by a Big Lots today so I went in. Nothing really left. I bought two copies of Supremacy MMA and two copies of You Don't Know Jack for the Wii. I don't want these...

I have a problem...

I don't know why so many people on here are after the return/rebuy. There's this wonderful thing in retail called a "price adjustment," which is actually a lot easier. They did it for me, you just have to have the original receipt and the original purchase has to be less than 30 days ago.

The price adjustments are easy depending on who you get. When Big Lots had the 20% coupon weekend, it was literally a pain in my ass. I went back to the store to do a return and rebuy. Some of my games were opened, but I had most of my receipts minus two of the games or so. The cashier literally argued with me about getting my card scanned for the 20% off. She wouldn't even look at my card. The store was getting busy, and I understand it can be frustrating but in all honesty do your damn job! She just returned everything, and re sold them on the current transaction. What a waste of my damn time. I then called the corporate number to complain, and I also sent them an email. I called the store the next morning, and I spoke to the manager about what happened and she told me that she would take care of it. I go back to the store, and the CSM gives me crap about returning and rebuying the games. I inform her to bring the manager up because it's getting ridiculous at this point. The CSM also complained that she couldn't find one of the games from the receipt, and I had to point it out to her. So damn annoying. In total it took me two damn trips to get the difference back, but it shouldn't have taken all of that. The following day the manager called me directly, and asked what happened. I probably should've pushed the issue further to get a gift card or something, but I don't see myself returning to that particular store any time soon.

 
I'm jealous of the few of you finding bundles...can't believe it. The cags in my area just buy out all the goldeneye bundles the moment they go on sale..(k-mart & big lots alike). Just want one..


Btw, price adjustment is not always 30 days. Every big lots is different. The one nearest me is 30, but I've heard of other big lots only allowing 20 days.

The manager at the one nearest me said 7 days when I attempted it.
 
To those people saying they had nothing left.. Make sure you're checking behind the CS counters. Went yesterday afternoon and asked the lady if I could see them and she said "there's nothing left *smirk*" so I said to check again and she said "well look but as far as I know they're all gone.. *smirk*"..

She then opened them up and hallelujah.. Bunch of games were still left..

Oh also, the wireless speed wheel for the 360 was clearanced out last time the 75% was going on, came out to like $8. Weird thing is though that when they were trying to scan it, it wouldn't come up so they had to look up the sku manually and enter it. So maybe that had to do with the price coming up correctly? Not sure but going in today for a price adjustment.

I would love to get my hands on these right here. I plan on going when they open at 9am and then to GS to pick up Infamous. Man I haven't played a WWF/ E game since, "Smackdown Here Comes the Pain."

Nothing left at mine. It was two random sports games left.

Farewell, Big Lots Games. At least got Mass Effect 2 + 3 :ps3: out of it.

One thing I could think of is that if the new Smash Bros will support CC Pro controllers (as the Wii U can't support the favored Wavebirds), people will be looking for the next best thing. The Wii U Pro Controller will obviously be supported, but this at least gives another option for multiplayer.

As most retailers are clearing out of the older Wii stock, its getting harder and harder to find official Nintendo brand CC Pro controllers. Just spitballing, but it seems reasonable to me.

Thanks for posting this. I asked for a price adjustment on my two transactions, cashier hit a couple buttons and I got back $35. Definitely the way to go.

make a tradelist and post it up in the trading thread. I would add more than just the RE gun thing though.

eventually, you will find someone to trade ya. I have had a lot of trades here, never a problem with anyone. the trust is something you have to earn (shipping first to higher feedbacks), but most traders are long time users that are good people.
