I play it on Vita all the time and I don't seem to recall that happening. Now on PS3 it takes quite a bit longer to save for some reason. Maybe power off the Vita and back on? Don't know.

Thinking about it more, this could be a cloud issue (temporary). Spelunky has cross-save and it's automatic. So it's always saving your progress to the cloud after each game. Maybe for some reason it was taking longer than normal to save to the cloud.

Yeah I think you are right, I read somewhere else it's probably stat syncing and I was playing upstairs away from my router so maybe that is why it was taking longer. Most of the time I'm playing away from home and not connecting to PSN, so maybe that's why the difference in respawn time.

I haven't played the game, but have you tried saving it to a different slot if that's possible? If you've been saving it on the same one for a long time it could be acting strangely.

 
Pretty decent month for me, in that I don't own 5 of the 6.  I had a mild interest in Stick it to the Man, so free is the perfect price.  I like FIFA but have never played PES so I'll check it out.  I've beat Puppeteer but will happily take it again for free and work towards the platinum. Skullgirls looks really cool though I"m not a fighting game fan.  Surge Deluxe looks awesome, probably the game I'm happiest about getting!

Bought Limbo for Vita for $3.75 in a sale a few months back.  No PS+ update would be complete without a Sony® Slap to the Face.

Honestly glad to see everyone getting puppeteer and skullgirls (because everyone in this thread has such a raging boner for fighting games).  PES 2014 and Surge Deluxe might be the first games I just don't even bother with.  I'd rather play the new version of treasures of montezuma, and that's saying something.

The new Treasures of Montezuma does look cool, looks just like Puzzle Quest. Great fit for Vita, hope it comes to NA and hope the F2P aspects aren't too crippling.

 
Surge Deluxe seems to be getting good ratings on PSN, but I didn't like it. But it's not a slap in the face - I got a copy free a while back. It's probably a fine game if you like your puzzle games super frantic. That's not my cup of tea. Also I thought the touch controls were a little on the iffy side. That often is what sunk me in it.

I already have Stick it to the Man, but other than those two I don't have the others. Stick it the Man is pretty cool, but I set it aside a while back and have not gotten back to it. I should because it is pretty cool. Love the art style and music.

I looked the other day and I've literally put 65 hours in to the original ToM on vita. Holy cow. The stunning part is that I'm _still_ 35 hours away from the last trophy after two years of casual play.

Bejeweled-style games can't grab my attention at all unless there is an adventure built into the match making, like with Puzzle Quest, No Heroes Allowed, etc. I didn't spend more than 20 mins with ToM, but this new one I'll definitely sink some time into if it comes out here.

 
Excited about Stick it to the Man since I somehow decided to skip it when on sale for PS3/Vita even though I wanted to play it.

I have to decide if I am going to subject myself to the agony of getting the less than 5 deaths trophy in Limbo again or not.  I bought and beat the PS3 one only.

 
Grabbed the Skull Girls free DLC. Thanks for the heads up. Though I don't really like fighting games that much (other than Divekick), so not sure why I bothered. I'll try it, at least.

Limbo is great. I played it on 360 and loved it, but didn't want to buy it again. Since it's going to be free I'll play through it on Vita now too. 

Puppeteer I'm really looking forward to trying. PES 2014 is great because I like soccer games well enough, but not enough to buy one. Now I get one free. Nice.

I already have Puppeteer and Skullgirls Encore (from buying the original when it was cheap), no burning or slapping for me.  I'm excited for PES 2014 since I wanted a newer soccer game, I think the last one I bought was FIFA 2010.  Surge Deluxe could be another fun game for the Vita.

 
sweet I only have Puppeter. Not a terrible month woot.

I really wanted to play Skullgirls based on interviews with one of the guys who made it who pretty much said. I liked making charachters, I liked videogames, I've been drawing these people and giving them background forever, I don't super love fighting games...thats just all I've ever imagined these charachters being in so...fighting game it is!

Not really interested in any game this month, and I hope everybody here picked up Puppeteer either retail/digital. Not being a handsome pete here, but it does good to support these kind of games. 

 
There are usually so many discounts for ps+ games throughout each month that I view the games in the IGC as a bonus and am usually very home with what has been offered. the only game i have already from this month is Puppeteer, so again, pretty happy with this month's offering.

 
I am not buying a game on PSN unless I plan on playing it immediately. Puppeteer I haven't even touched, and pissed that I bought TLoU with a PS4 release coming (hope they have an upgrade).

 
Ho-Hum month. I own most of these games which is becoming the norm now. Definitely interested in PES 2014. I haven't checked that series out in quite a few years.

Always wanted to try a PES game myself so that's good. The PS4 game I'll play too and will download Skullgirls, decent enough month but nothing crazy exciting for me.

 
I didn't pick Puppeteer up because I got a PS4... so... oh wait.

Consequently, 3 Demons down in Demon's Gaze.  Just sat through a LONG cutscene that was.. well.. more confusing than enlightening.  But I did manage to get one girl to strip down to nothing and tell me to touch her to make sure she was real.  That's something?  I guess?  Most of the in game notes are little pervert kids.. prolly just figured out they could write 5318008 on their calculators too.  Some truly helpful ones though.

Not digging this month, but at least I get puppeteer.

Surge Deluxe, however, is a fantastic touch based puzzler if you like that sort of thing. Really, really good.

I don't think they replaced the actual games... didn't people with hacked vitas already have them working? Besides, with emulation you generally change the emulator, not the game. I don't think they were 'fixed'. Many aren't even their games to 'fix' in the first place.

 
Doesn't look like I'll be downloading much during May. Maybe Puppeteer but that's it.

Vita games aren't interesting. I might have gotten Limbo during a sale before. I don't remember.

I need to finish up Gravity Rush. Just started Spelunky as well. Should I add some people on here for score comparisons?

 
Most of the sale games I buy are $10 or less so even though I'd love to maximize Plus to it's fullest extent I don't really feel burned by any of it. I guess the better question would be for all of us is, when I buy this will I play it soon or in 4 years from now?

I'm switching to Microsoft.

1. I can keep the games they give away even after my sub ends.

2. All the games are 10 years old so even if I've played them, it's probably been a while.

3. Their handheld is amazing and has more games than the Vita.
