Strangely the only Zelda games I've finished are Link's Awakening DX, Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass (which I actually liked a lot). I do really want to play the new 3DS one.
 
All this Zelda talk and no one even mentions Zelda II, yeah it was fuck ing weird and different but it's fuck ing awesome. I feel like people just hated it because it wasn't easy enough or some shit for them. I have to say I never knew what all the fuss was over LTTP until I played it on the GBA SP 2 with the super bright screen and I was like oh shit yeah this game is pretty fuck ing great.

I actually just went back to Wind Waker on GC again over this past weekend, I've had that shit since launch. It's a great game but I think I need to finish this shit up already. Twilight Princess was better than everyone says, it just takes a shit long time to get ramped up. I didn't realize what high marks Skyward Sword got, might need to play that. I also need to go play Majora's...only ever played some on an emulator back in the day.

Links Awakening is pretty fuck ing great too.

Zelda 2 and Mario 2 were both VERY strange. Of course I know why Mario 2 was strange since it was not a Mario game at all.

I think we can all agree that Zelda has some of the best music in gaming. I like chiptunes so I think a lot of you can guess which game I think has the best music based on my earlier comments...

I love retro gaming and I do it in a big way. Excited for my next monthly session with friends on Saturday speaking of which. As always whenever I get a chance to mention it I will: If anyone lives in the Phoenix area and is really into retro gaming (or is curious about it and would like to get involved or just learn more about it) shoot me a PM and we can talk about getting you into my next game night. Wasn't expecting All Stars to be cross buy, awesome price for both. (online pass included as well) Does Twisted Metal require an online pass? I heard it was dead but just wondering since it didn't come with one.

I don't think there has ever been a digital release where an Online pass wasn't bundled in with the game. I can't confirm for this title as I haven't done it, but that just sounds silly.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Maybe it's just integrated into the game instead of a stand alone pass? It'll be a while before I'm able to find out.

The purpose of online passes is to prevent/deter used game sales. Digital copies are never previously owned. You can rest assured that you will not have to worry about an online pass when buying a game new, whether digital or physical.

Are you asking if it's worth $5? Because it seems like it would be a pretty awesome deal at that price.

No idea how "active" the online still is though as I played the game mostly around launch.

I haven't played it yet so I can't really tell you. But for $5 I'll take the chance not knowing if it is or not (I'm betting it is). Colors look fine to me, and I would think the characters being 'personable' would be a personal opinion honestly. I love the character list, as I've played tons of those games.

That's exactly what I thought, but for $5, it's totally worth it. Cross-buy, cross play, and cross save. I thought it would just be another SSB clone, but it's mechanics aren't too shabby. 8/10 for me. For $5, you could do worse lol.
 
PS All Stars Battle Royale is really pretty sweet.  The single-player content is pretty lacking and the "Super Moves" as the only way to knock out others was so dumb (why oh why didn't they just copy Smash here?!?!?!) but the actual game is still pretty damn cool.

It's a decent Smash Bros. clone. It's fun for maybe a couple hours but it wears out a little fast. It definitely doesn't have the legs for near infinite replay like Smash does, but it could be fun to pick up and mess around with after a long break. Though I doubt I'll play it again once I go back and finish the Vita plat (already got the PS3 one-or maybe it was the other way around, I can't rememebr since it's been a while but I'm only missing 1 maybe two multiplayer trophies to finish it). That being said, it's worth $5 easily.

EDIT: Need the vita online victory sans death and a triple kill online for the plat. Really should just finish it.

EDIT: Wow, it looks like a harder and RPGier version of Witch and the Hundred Knight.  Yeah that's a definite no for me.

Ok I know I suck at fighting games and shouldn't even be playing Mortal Kombat, but why can't I seem to beat Reptile and Sub-Zero in story mode?  Even Shao Kahn wasn't that hard in ladder fight but these easy guys seem really tough as a tag team. Can anyone point me to a decent guide that doesn't assume you are a fighting master and everything is just easy?
