I'm immune to the sirens call of trophies. I will confess that other day when I beat the last level in Resogun like 4 trophies popped at once and I got a semi chub, but I'm still not trying to waste the precious little gaming time I get.

Right--on their Kickstarter page, the developers mention that "the sky's the limit" after release, and they're considering porting it in the future ("we all own Vitas, PS3s, and Xboxes"), so there's hope.

...We just have to dig until we find it.

I agree, when this game was announced as a Kickstarter I tweeted it to Nick Suttner at Sony that it should be on the Vita and he starred the post but I guess nothing ever came of it. Hopefully we get it eventually. I'm currently playing my 3DS to play Ocarina and the new Zelda and I really don't want to put any more money into that crappy system.

 
I played some more Brothers last night. I think I'm up to the last chapter now. I went from liking it, to not really caring for it, to liking it again. It's fairly minimal as a game but some of the set pieces are nice to look at. The controls are unique and fun but only takes it so far in my opinion. Probably good it's not too long.

Sony probably would have had to kick in money to get them to put it on Vita/PS3/PS4 right away. Small teams like this need a lot of resources and time, look how long it took them to make the game just for WiiU/3DS/PC. But once the game launches on those platforms, the devs have an incentive to port it to other consoles and Sony won't have to kick in funding or anything.

 
Stotch and pete, I have to give both of you credit for platting Hot Shots on vita.  It can't be much different than doing it on PS3 and I think I'm starting to hit a wall.  I might be able knock it out ever so slowly but I don't know if I have the patience for it.  I've got two more courses to "star" and then it's on to the crowns (of which I only have 5 I think).

Out of the 525 users on TT, only 13 have completed it (and out of those 13, Stotch is #1).  I bow to the masters.

I didn't think it was too bad until all I had left was the hole in one trophy. that was a cruel grind since I am terrible at things. but I could also play hsg until I literally throw up in my own shoes.

Well, one thing is certain: Based on the 40+ "achievements" they incorporated into the 3DS/PC/Wii U versions, there better be a platinum when it eventually comes to PS3 and/or Vita. :twoguns:

 
Also in Will Ferell's Pep talk, he has vowed to go on the field and bite every German player if he has to... for country!

 
I really probably shouldn't watch.  If we don't get through I'm going to have 0 ambition to work for the rest of the day.  I mean, I didn't recover from that fuck ing Portugal ending til Tuesday.

Portugal v Ghana is at the same time. If they tie we go through regardless, I believe. Right? So will be keeping an eye on that game. Other scenarios exist but I can't keep track of it. Too complicated.

If one team is going to win in the Ghana Portugal match, we want Portugal... they have to win 3-0 and we have to lose 1-0 to not advance.

Yup, definitely gotta root for Portugal and not a lot of goal scoring.

We can also lose 1-0 and Ghana win 1-0 and still advance. But if Ghana were to win 2-1 and we lost 1-0 then they would advance.

Or we could have held out for 60 more fuck ing seconds and already been guaranteed a spot in the round of 16!!!!!!!!!
