I found it. You have to switch to switch to the Xbox with Kinect listing. That link put me at the one without Kinect.

And are they talking about swallowing the Kinect??? LOL.

I think these numbers they are giving you are a bit low. I rented it from redbox, so I knew I had to finish it in 24 hours or less. If I take out the 8 hour gap for when I was apparently sleeping, it took me 14 hours from the first trophy to last. The absolute fastest times on PSNP are 9.5 hours.

ETA: My second time playing it on Vita taking out for 6 hours of sleep still took me 11.5 hours.

I love it. Fantastic, actually.

Gameplay is meh at times, but in this rare (and perhaps unique) case, that's sort of the point. Despite everything happening, we keep playing it, cementing the narrative of the plot and the deeper meaning of the writer.

I didn't mind the gameplay, though. It's just not top notch. The story, however, is top tier and one of the best of the gen.

 
For some reason GS is doing a deal where any game you buy gives you a receipt promo code for a B2G1 < $20. A single code applies to your whole order, so 6 games gets you 2 free games rather than needing to use 1 code for every set of 3 games. I just picked these up from GS:

Heavy Rain

Neverdead

Lollipop Chainsaw

Heavenly Sword

Splatterhouse

MGS 4

$44.20 after tax.

I'm going to another GS later to get:

Eternal Sonata

Nier

Skate 2

Those will be another $35, but will give me every disc-only PS3 games I'm interested in playing.

Nice thing is, even though I used the voucher, every one of the six games I purchased gave me another promo code for B2G1. Due to that I just got 6 more codes. I'll give away 5 if anybody wants one.

Yeah, better for those who already had Last of Us pre-ordered, they could use that $25 to pay for this, getting another $25. Or if you roll it over onto a game coming with another $25, it works well too.

I know it's sort of random but I have Sly Collection on PS3, I'm near the end of 2 so I might use the $25 to get Sly on Vita so I could then finish up 2 on PS3, play 3 on Vita and then sell both when I'm finished. Hopefully will come out a little bit ahead. I just know I'll finish it up way quicker on Vita.

I think they do but I haven't looked into it enough. I've been watching the Dell TV deals that come with giftcards and I'm pretty sure they expire, and can't be stacked. But I'm not totally sure.

 
Yo crazydiamonds, you get enough interest to still do that thread fantasy football league? I know everyone here would enjoy more sports talk, especially if it revolves around our pretend teams.

I'll join a fantasy football league if there's no money exchanged. I might consider it if there's very little money exchanged. If it's going to be one of those pay $5 for every transaction type leagues, then fuck that.

Yeah, definitely. I had been playing on my PS3 but decided to switch to my Vita. The story is minimal, instead it's all about the gameplay which is really, really good. Very simplistic, yet fun sRPG. Dunno if you have it backlogged but it's been on sale for $4 individually or $6 for the cross-play bundle (ps3 and vita) Absolutely worth it IMO.

And yes, very easy to pick up and play a bit at a time.

Yeah, I have it already. May start this up as a game to play on weekdays when I have very little time to play, while playing games that are better in longer sessions on weekends. Right now Sonic Racing Transformed is taking up the weekday slot.

How long (days) does it take to get a $5 gift card? I was using Swagbucks, but now they use captchas for the videos and I always get busy here at work and miss the time limit to enter it and bank the points.

I think it was agreed upon that it would be a free league with maybe crazydiamonds throwing in a $5 PSN credit for the winner.

It takes about 18-19 days if you do the searches on desktop and mobile each day. On the desktop the trick is to search something like "plants" and then ctrl+click on the related searches on the right hand side, opening them in a new tab. So you can do your 30 or whatever searches each day in about 10 seconds. Mobile is a little longer but you can use a similar tactic. Plus there are no surveys or shit like that, that take up too much time.

I'm playing it at work on my lunch break. The more attention-requiring games I play at home on my fat with the Nyko. I don't have a grip for my Slim yet (I should get one.)
