To those asking about the turtles movie, saw it Friday and was pleasantly surprised. I love the turtles and grew up on it, but I made sure to go in with low expectations and came away happy... Although only complaint, some of turtles backstory didn't completely make sense, and the made Mikey sound a little rape-y with his hitting on Meghan fox. "She's so hot I can feel my shell growing"
 
People expecting Michael Bay movies to be Oscar winning films are fucking retards. Not every movie has to be a best picture nominee. Sometimes you just want to see mutated turtles bashing things around, or giant robots blowing shit up. Michael Bay has fully admitted that his goal is to make movies that teenage boys are going to enjoy. Judging from the box office numbers, I'd say he's doing a damn fine job.
 
Does the vita work as a second controller for PS4 for all games? I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this. For example, could I play Diablo 3 local co-op using 1 PS4 controller and a vita?

 
Is anyone going to see the new Sin City? I probably will. I really enjoyed the first one. I think Frank Miller wrote a new original character that Joseph Gordon Levitt is playing. And I haven't read the graphic novels but from what I've seen it looks like they expanded Nancy's story into a tale of revenge.
 
Yes i am seeing this week, the teaser for Tarantino's Hateful Eight is gonna be shown before the movie starts, hype!!!

Gordon- Levitt's character is Dwight who was Clive Owen in the first one and I think Josh Brolin is taking over for Bruce Willis. Can't wait to see Mickey Rourke as Marv and Eva Green, dis gonna be sexy.

I will be. Loved the first movie, and the graphic novels are fantastic. Not a fan of Frank Miller as a person, but love a lot of his work

 
I thought Josh Brolin was playing Dwight before he got his face surgery and which turned him into Clive Owen. Either way I'm a fan of the cast. It's cool that Eva Green is in there too.
 
Just watched Mad Max. It was alright. I figured since the netflix description says it's about Max seeking revenge on the gang that killed his family, that that would take up most of the movie. Thought there would be more car chases and action, too. Shame the other movies aren't on netflix since everything I've read about The Road Warrior is exactly what I wanted to see in this movie.

All I know is that I am really excited for the Mad Max game by Avalanche, the people who brought us the Just Cause series.

 
I havnt even played re5 twice, but i have played re4 at least 7 times, on at least 3 systems. It was the first game I introduced to my kids with the gamecube version hooked up to a projector, playing it on their bedroom wall. good times. I even have the gamecube chainsaw controller still in the box

 
It fun doe, Im stuck on the teeth surgery now but after that i think i unlock the space and alien levels. Shit is sick and funny

I've played through Re5 at least 3-4 times because I have a friend who loves it, so we coop it. Re4 I think I played it 9 times plus 5 stared or whatever it is on all the mercenary modes on my gamecube and I helped a friend 5 star his. I played through Re6 twice I think too. I still prefer RE6 or over Re5.

 
So I watched Summerslam. I thought it was a pretty good show, though a lot of the results had been predicted way early like usual. Definitely worth the $9.99 for the WWE Network though.

 
Put a chunk of time into TLOU multiplayer this weekend. Definitely getting better as I'm up to 80ish survivors and doing pretty well every round. Do my K/D stats again, Stellar. I'm curious what they are, but too lazy to look

It is the only game part of the Best Buy sale I want. However a co worker played it and said it was nothing special. He would loan it to me if/when I ask. I do think he said there is an online pass for it though so I wouldn't get the platinum if I borrowed his. Just doesn't seem worth $10 to me for that though.

I did. It was bad, but in a fun bad kinda way. Tons of plot holes and they changed the back story. I'd say if you liked the original movie that it's around the same level of quality. If you're into the comics or cartoons I have no idea since I've never read/watched those.

Amazon taxes me and charges shipping; BB only charged tax for some reason, and takes paypal. This ended up being my first game resell-funded purchase, plus I got the reward points from BB and went through ShopDiscover for 5% back so those two refunded me the tax anyway. #cag4lyf3

Also, Resistance on Vita? Do you guys not already have a Vita backlog (like me) that doesn't need a somewhat mediocre shooter added to it? :shame:

Speaking of trophies and cheating/boosting:  MLB14 pretty much encourages "cheating" to get a lot of its trophies.  Many of them are tied to getting specific players certain stats.  Many are about hitting multiple home runs, or hitting for the cycle while stealing bases.  Or Miguel Cabrera having to be perfect at the plate and hit 3 home runs.  Even if you played multiple seasons the "normal" way it would be highly unlikely to get most of these trophies.  So instead you have to change all the sliders and player stats.  And then you still need a lot of luck and I had none in the game I played last night.

Guys, don't buy Resistance: Burning Skies. If you do we'll all plat in a day or two and our copies will hit eBay/Amazon at the same time and tank the sales values.

 
Hit week two in TLOU MP... Barely passed my challenge and hit 20 people... Trophies are already popping, doesn't seem that hard getting them, maybe at the end when certain maps are available
