GWAR has a new frontmanwoman. Vulvatron. She shoots blood onto the audience out of her nipples. I don't listen to GWAR, but I figured blood spurting nipples fit well into the discussion today.

Gwar is the only band I know that can sell you a plain white t-shirt at their show and then spray the crowd with fake blood. It's a great gimmick to get people to show up.

I watched Brave Little Toaster 100s of times when I was kid. Never once got scared. Watched it about two years ago and wondered what the hell was wrong with me as kid. There is some messed up shit in that movie

My girlfriend went to a Gwar show a couple years ago because her friend had a free ticket. She had no idea who they were, and literally came back in tears from being so disturbed. I for one haven't seen them or would care to.

I've been to some crazy shows like Marilyn Manson and Slipknot, but the craziest was Rammstein. He literally lit himself on fire and continued to sing engulfed in flames.
 
In an interview yesterday, Peyton Manning revealed a little bit of his political side.

"I've gotten to know some of the folks here in Colorado. Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes. So when you come to a different place, you've kind of got to learn everything that comes with it."

he also listed off all the players that caught only one TD pass from him... remembered the exact plays and everything.

I know someone who just moved to Denver to help open up a pizza joint, I'll have to find out if Peyton ever shows up.
 
Cant even keep up with this thread today.  How do people here not know the Brave Little Toaster?  I remember watching it as a kid and thinking it was good and then watched it a couple years back and its so fucked up.

Toy Story is still the best kid's movie.

 
Looks like the last major Destiny review dropped with IGN. 7.8. Crazy. I can't recall a game being this hyped, selling this well ...and being received this way. I like Bungie and want the game to do well, but I hope they take the criticisms to heart. There is a damn solid game here but it just missed the mark (for me, at least) in a few critical areas. I still think it's worth your time if you enjoy shooters. Lvl 19 now so I'll see what all this post-lvl 20 talk is about soon.

Here is screencap of how it fared in comparison to other recent shooters. Lowest of the bunch:

I would say Rage would be one of the more recent overhyped and disappointing games. Metascore is slightly higher than Destiny, but talk about a game that didn't deliver.

Toy Story was after my time, but I still liked The Iron Giant a lot more.

Wasn't there an issue with the Scorchers DLC as well? I haven't played it yet, but I was thinking it was one of those games where the real ending was in the DLC, and that sucks.

If you had told me 6 months ago that I would have preferred Wolfenstein far more than Destiny I would have said you belong in a nuthouse. But yet here we are...both in a nuthouse called the PSNOT thread.

 
Sure am loving these unskippable cut scenes in Theives in Time. Gives me plenty of time to read the thread while I shittily fail over and over again at this climbing trophy.
 
After sitting it out for a few days and letting the sting wear off of it not being what I thought it would be...Destiny is pretty sweet. Its still got some issues, and things I dont really like about it, but I'm finding it far more enjoyable now than I was. I can see myself playing it for a long time to come. Will likely never get a platinum for it, but as long as it's fun I dont really care.

The DLC for Rage had nothing to do with the ending of the game from what I remember. Just added a new area, new guns and a harder difficulty mode. I can't really think of any games that have the DLC as the real ending other than what I've heard about from Asura's Wrath (Which I've never played) and maaaaaaaaaybe Prince of Persia, but I think the ending to PoP was fine the way it was and the DLC kind of undoes it.
