It's super stable too. You can knock off six shots and barely have to adjust. The only reason I switch to my void epitaph anymore is when I need to shoot something through a wall with its armor piercing rounds.

Yeah, it's way better than the rare sniper rifle I was rocking so I'm way happy with it. My Epitaph is arc based. I now have a legendary/Exotic sniper rifle of every type.

 
If anyone cares, WWE network is free for the month of November. That means free Survivor Series. They also removed the six month commitment, so you can pay $9.99 to basically watch any PPV during the year. So if they have a shitty ppv that doesn't even have the champ in it and you don't want to watch, you can cancel and just start up again at the Royal Rumble when something good happens.
 
I was sitting at the bar where we play, before pinball league, and remote playing Costume Quest 2. Like a boss. Well I didn't have time to get into a battle so not sure how well that would work but the opening stuff was definitely very playable.

I'm only a couple hours in so far but it pretty much feels like Infamous with some minor Borderlands elements. I'm definitely gonna give it some time to see how it goes but I think this is very much gonna be a quick play and trade.

I could not watch more than a minute if this because of the annoying narrator but I did not get the purpose of the video at all. All I know is I am glad I haven't bothered reading more than I have to about this dumb gamer gate shit.

Which means I may actually give them $10 for Wrestlemania instead of downloading it for free.

Unless Cena is in the main event, then fuck them.

It's good timing because NXT got changed over to Huluplus and there's no way I'm spending money on that.

I kinda felt that way the first hour or two into it, but now that I'm better at the traversal/maintaining a combo I'm having a blast. Having more crazy weapons to play with also helps. If you press A as you bounce on stuff you'll bounce a good deal higher and be able to get around better(it takes a fair number of story levels before they tell you that. Also, landing on the ground resets your combo. If you're about to miss your jump and land, press x to roll and then jump with a. You won't lose your combo and you'll have another chance to bounce/grind/wallrun.

Thanks for the heads up! I kicked myself for not seeing this before it left theaters, and had no idea it'd be coming to Netflix so soon. After seeing lots of creepy Halloween stuff this last week (e.g. Tyler's avatar) it'll be nice to mix it up with some post-apocalyptic sci-fi.

 
I'm probably a bigger fan of Killer Mike than I am his actual music. Very intelligent dude. I just cannot seem to get into his stuff. R.A.P. & Run The Jewels get tons of praise though. And I don't know what @micbelt posted or how it's related but that's good shit (cannibal ox). Beat is ridiculous.
 
DMX will be here on the 14th. The promoter said he'll be only playing his old stuff, haha. Debating whether to go or not. $20 isn't too bad but I have a feeling that shit could still be whack.  :whistle2:k
 
I finished my The Evil Within speedrun faster than expected with 1 hour to spare (3:58). Now I'm doing a Casual no-upgrade run, and then it'll be time for Akumu. :twoguns:

On the one hand, I'm glad to see them doing anything with the franchise, even if it's just a years-late PC port. More Valkyria for more people is always a good thing.
On the other hand, I am envious as hell of those people for getting Steam Achievements with this version. MGS4 finally got trophies but VC languishes? <sobs bitterly>

I dunno man. I can't even connect to PSN on any console now. People are playing though, so it's just me I guess. It says my internet connection is fine, but it fails when signing into PSN.

EDIT: Down for maintenance I guess. Shit timing, velo.

Though it sounds like Velo and Cro tried this a bit ago and it didn't work (sorry Velo, just saw your msg!).

We can give it a try later if any of us can manage to connect.

 
K I'm 99% sure I got all 5 orbs in Guacamelee, even says 5/6 on the bottom of my menu. So only need the 6th one from the final boss.  Beat him twice and for whatever reason it is not giving me the 6th orb, it's giving me the 5th one.  What the fuck?  I'm having shitty luck with trophies lately.  Not sure if I'm overlooking something here or not...

EDIT: Looks like they've added an extra orb i the Inferno challenge in this version.

Was playing the new South Park pinball tables, and when going to buy I got the "buy first on PS3 or Vita" notice. Kind of annoying that this limitation is still around.

I know I'm just a bit out of the loop on this but I guess it's because I haven't tried to buy any new tables in a while.

final evil within update:

game is great, one of my favorites in a long time. played through without knowing much of anything about the game except who made it and that there's a dude with a safe for a head, didn't put any effort in to collectibles, no guides, etc etc and had a really, really fun time. did some minor cleanup over remote play to get a couple quickie straggler trophies and play with the ng weapons for kicks and ended up at 72% complete trophywise from my one play through. now today I'll go trade it in for $44 making it a free rental and I'll roll that over to the next game. I'll definitely look to pick it up down the road to do the other runthroughs and the dlc. I hope that they don't make a sequel so it can live amongst the ranks of bitchin B movie games like vanquish and binary domain in my heart.

I did try playing it without the day one patch. yikes! it basically feels like a messy ps3 game at the lower resolution. framerate stutters every time you move the camera. amazing what a difference that teensy patch makes.

as far as the ending goes ...
I guess the first time you wake up you're still in ruvik's world. the second time is purportedly the real world - but how was kidman in ruvik's world if she wasn't hooked up to anything? and why is assassin's creed dude walking by in the background? then you wake up the third time in that same room and there's a few/bunch of folks dead in the other tubs including (presumably) at least one cop that came to investigate and that doctor, but then a bunch of police/swat/whatever bust in to (I guess) make sure you're ok like it's only been a couple hours? and if it's been days - why did they wait so long to look for you? and why didn't anyone clean up the crime scene by then? gross! and when kidman said something like 'you don't know what (leslie) will become' was she talking about the doofy end game monster? or something else we have yet to see? SO MANY MEANINGLESS QUESTIONS

can't speak to the wife thing, I caught something about it and just thought 'well I guess they'll focus on that later' and moved on. didn't realize they hadn't later on.

I'm glad other folks have enjoyed it, it's too bad tyler hated it so much as I think it really is an excellent spiritual successor to re4 (which I think he likes quite a bit). hope anyone that's interested gets to try it sooner rather than later and sticks with it. totally worth it.

I really want the new z3 compact, but the pricing on it is too high. I dont do contracts so I buy phones out right. My HTC One (m7, the original) is still a great phone and its the google play edition so it gets android L pretty soon, so not much reason right now to buy a new phone, but that compact is sexy. Plus the remote play option on it looks fantastic.
