I've held off on SS because of the DLC. When a complete edition gets released at some point after they've started on SS2 I'll grab it, but before then the constant stream of DLC would just annoy me.

Hah, yeah. I usually do pretty well but there's so much candy around Halloween that I usually just say fuck it. I'm not scared of carbs. I don't care if I lapse for a few days--it's the overall behavior that matters.

I picked through the shit in the bowl and ate all the good candy today, so tomorrow I'll be back on track.

I've never really understood the hostility against TB. His videos are pretty good quality overall and he does a good job of focusing on gameplay, controls, options, framerate, and brings in any relevant comparisons or issues with the game. He's very clear about his biases, so you know where he's coming from. Plus he's prolific so he's one of the easiest people to consistently get videos for any particular game from, which is good. I don't always agree with his judgement of a game, but I can respect his opinions because he's very clear on them. When I watch/read reviews from other people I have to be a lot more skeptical because I know less about them and have no idea if they're paid for or what perspective or level of knowledge they're bringing to the review.

If I want to watch a super in-depth analysis of a game, Errant Signal is the best I've found. He's nowhere near as prolific, though.

Was that sale last week not a bundle with all the DLC? I thought it was. I didnt pay attention since I had all but the new one.

really wish the demo had come out here so everyone could try it, but i vote freedom wars. it might even knock off soul sacrifice for my top vita game.

edit: demon gaze is due for a sale anytime now. at least i'm hoping it gets one soon.

I want demon gaze the most but I know that it is due for a sale too (mind zero too since it flopped) so I'm trying to wait. I really didn't like SS that much though.

Hungry Horde is interesting. Thought there'd be more to it at first, but I think I read different random levels every day? Weird if the main game is just one level per day. Or maybe in game days change? I don't fucking know. Shut up. You're not my real dad.

i wasn't comparing the two, ss is just my tops as far as vita games go. pretty sure freedom wars is going to be my number 1 before it's all over though. i wish i could stream it for you, and show you different ways i've tackled some of the missions. definitely check out some gameplay vids.

Nope. Only got to playbook maybe 20-30 minutes off and on, so havnt got very far. I do really love the sticker album thing though. Perfectly recreated those Panini sticker albums of old I used to have. fuckin aces job on that part.

All SP trophies done for Advanced Warfare. Just gotta run through the co-op stuff for the plat. As usual, veteran was kid stuff. If you're really garbage, your upgrades carry through so you can beat it on easy first and max out your shit before starting veteran.

I've never cared for any of the Tales games. I'd like to try Demon Gaze or Freedom wars but not until they drop under $20.

In all seriousness though, Isaac isn't for everyone. I played the original for 450 hours and will put at least that into Rebirth. For some people it clicks, but a lot of people quit before very long
