Played some Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and its good so far. Plays the same as the others, might be a lil faster but its good but for $20 it seems a lil too much.

It's good, well worth $8 IMHO, I picked it up a while ago when it was $10. If you look at most of the reviews they are positive but say the games not worth $40, at $8 for a digital copy I'd say it's well worth it.

Also if anyone cares I think it might still be worth 40 coins on Club Nintendo, plus another 10 for the post-play. Least that was the case when I got it.

So I've been enjoying Curtain Call a lot since I picked it up last week. I looked at the DLC menu though and there's something like $50 worth of DLC. :shock:
 
On the Theatrhythm DLC, they added all of those over a bunch of months to cater to everyone's song wishes. I've personally bought 10 songs because they were the songs I love but I definitely won't be buying many more. Also SE has said this is the final edition of the game so don't be worried about it being added into some other sequel.

Which is neat and all but there's no way I'm touching any of it. As someone who likes FF but doesn't know any of the music being vaguely remembering the title screen for X and a battle song for one of the 2D games it's not like there's something specific I want. If they had a complete pack or smaller ones with each chunk they released where you got a discount on it I would have considered it though as I'm enjoying the game. I'm sure that will all be included if they do a third game anyway.

Walmart, Target, TRU, Steam Store, SD all used to be available to view, but are no longer. Recent security updates due to stupid people opening up email viruses in another department. CAG and Amazon are still allowed, so I'm good.

Also, big fan of the way the 2DS fits into my hands. Downside? Going to need some screen protectors.

Oh I'm totally into this. May as well make it the most insane and outlandish thing possible since they're already started down that route. I'm sure there's going to be all sorts of Lovecraftian weirdness with some of those monster designs too. Just wait for Lincoln to be Smash DLC now.

Citizens of Earth is now  unknown (still says nov- release date was yesterday but they said they had to fix stuff and still says NOV but wont give a date so  doubt it  coming in nov.  and still asking 14.99 for it.  Sorry but it will get lost in the major xmas releases.

I've never played a Zelda game except for like 10 min. Of Wind Waker but I always thought Majora's Mask looked really interesting. I'll probably buy it when it comes out.

MM is actually the odd man out when it comes to Zelda games. It is actually the only one I've never finished, as main mechanic of this game is racing the clock. If your going to give Zelda a chance, you might want to start elsewhere first, but maybe this game will hold your interest due to it being so different from the standard games.

I actually can see why many consider this the greatest/worst game in the series. For me, the thing that made this title so great, was also what kept me from finishing it, and that was the "time" play mechanic. So I personally had a love/hate relationship with this game.

Since "N" had already released a Zelda game on the N64, they had the game engine in place, so that allowed them to get really creative with this game in the areas where it counts, and it is really like no other title out there. I'm actually looking forward to the 3DS version, as I can now try to finish this title after so many years of throwing in the towel.

 
cant remember but does that pokemon puzzle game coming today have any story mode or is it just single matches. Anyone remember how long the game was story wise.  Dont know to grab this or wait for the card game next week

I don't know but if you're buying it for the story you're doing it wrong.
 
No story mode slidecage. Closest thing is a gym battle mode where it's like vs AI matches.

It's interesting how this game is still fun but things like the inability to shuffle pieces vertically now feels slightly archaic.

Well, shit. I might actually have to bite (no pun intended) on one of the Nintendogs games. I have a physical one, but never play it due to whatever recent retail purchase I have. Wouldn't mind having it on my system. It's great when you need a dose of "cute and stress free gaming".

well if people was saving their cash for citizens of earth  you can now spend it.  Game has offically been pushed back to  Jan 20 2015.  Even if they hold that date (not holding my breathe)  Funny thing is they said it was to come out NOV 4 and they found a few minor bugs. Sorry but if you found a few minor bugs it would not push your game back 2 months+

Their game would be completely overshadowed by all the big releases coming soon, so I understand that.

seems they are saying atlus is the one who pushed it back to Jan 20 that they Never had an offical release date. What i dont like is they are saying they have no cash left, so if they do run into another problem how are they going to fix it or will they release a bug filled game

I'm assuming my dog is dead. I stopped playing it for the same reason. Digital is definitely the way to go.
