Urg. Do I go for Pirate's Curse now or wait for a sale?

It's not like I'm going to play it right away, and I don't really feel like spending extra cash on the series since I already dropped a significant amount on the HGH KS, but... Urg. Kinda want it anyway.

would not mind buying

Castle Conqueror EX - $3.99

but got to wonder if its not just a rehash of the DSI game. maker says its 80% new but doubtful

I'm wondering the same thing. Have any of you gone for it?
logged the old one back into my system. the old one had 50 maps as well and it had upgrades. Not really sure how they are saying 80% of this game is all new. Tempted to buy it since i just moved all my stuff off my 4gb card to a 32gb. Now i have like 215,000 blocks free :)

I've already played over 6 hours, it's fantastic. Though I can completely see why people would want to wait for a sale -- it still feels very 'budget' like because of the graphics. But make no mistake, it's a lot more in depth than Risky's Revenge and there's a LOT of secrets to find (some worthwhile....some simply money and stuff).

Basically: You suck Nintendo but I'm jealous I can't play Smash so gimme!!!!

PS: I'm 12 and my mom says I'm perfect so you have to listen to me!

It wasn't that I didn't believe, more that I couldn't even fathom how you could argue for that.
This is what the guy said the reason and argument for it is:
"Nintendo NEEDS to port this game to the PSVita. Many of us Sony fans don't want to buy an underpowered console like the Nintendo 3DS, but we would gladly buy a quality title like Smash Bros. Not only would it be benefical for both fans and Nintendo, but probably also REQUIRED by US anititrust law, since Nintendo has a monopoly on games like Smash Bros. by virtue of having no competing title."

Guys, this is a serious petiton, we shouldn't joke around. Only super important petitions make it to sites like change.org.
Sometimes I go there for kicks and see the crazy crap people are petitioning...what was truly hilarious was the day I found one that was about firing a lady I work with..

On the off chance that you don't have a Pokemon demo code yet it's confirmed you get access to the demo by buying either Puzzle League or the TCG. Pokemon Art Academy as well but it's only the eShop version.

if noone does by this weekend i probally will.

just picked it up an little i played of it its almost a clone of the first one. few changes. There are 4 heroes to pick from at the start of the game. 3 of these heroes are unlocked at the start the 4th hero you must complete the game with one of the first 3 heroes to unlock the 4th. Each hero has 3 cards that can be used in battle (ie increase attack, def. confuse the AI) first hero was a warrior, 2nd hero is a lady warrior, 3rd hero is like a mage (hes powers is send AI back to castle. Confuse the AI and Stop the AI castles from making more troops. There is also 4 save slots so if you want to you can do each hero in their own slot. I only went up to map 1-7. Saved up my cash to increase army rank from 1 star to 2 stars (not sure what they will do)

guessing if the AI does not get harder each chapter will take you around an hour. Meaning 5 hours per hero so around 20 to get all 4 heroes to the end of the game.

Overall what i seen right now i would say while it looks mostly just like a clone of the first one 4 bucks is still a nice price to grab it at. Any more and i would of pass. Will keep playing more when i get off my 2nd job tonight and hopefully most more tonight

Little update but the AI is harder on this then the DSIwere game

Whaaaa? What exactly about the graphics says "budget" to you? I wish all games looked like this. It's the shoddy ugly 3d junk that looks budget to me. I agree this game is fantastic tho. Really glad to have bought it day 1. I want more games made with this much TLC. I remember when RPGs looked this way, but nothing in the past looked quite this high quality.

So, have we all heard about the guy petitioning Nintendo to bring Smash to vita?
This reminds me of how everyone thinks Pokemon is coming to ios just because they released some weird Pokemon mini games on mobile. There are long arguments about how Thr Pokemon Company and Game Freak are separate from Nintendo blah blah. Like Nintendo would really let that happen. It would take an upset of bigger proportions than Squaresoft defecting to Sony. More likely to get Hal Labs making Kirby games for iOS.

So I went to pay off Freedom Wars at gamestop and picked up the shiny gengar code. The clerk then told me that they would be giving out codes for Diancie starting on the 27. Is this new or am I just late to the party.

Late to the party but those things are easy to forget about so it's worth mentioning.

Someone lurked it. Didn't get a chance to get back to GS this week to get a code after forgetting when I was there the first day. :whistle2:(
I dropped it here earlier because I had some errands to run, I actually remembered you saying you didn't have one some time back but figured you got one.

My GS ran out day 1.
I think I somehow wound up at GS the first day because I had 4 or 5 of them.

Man, I went for generations never getting the pokemon giveaways since I've always lived to far from anywhere to get one.  I had assumed that now that they've started giving away gifts over the internet that would have changed. Or maybe I'm still bitter about not getting a Mew in Gen1.

there a Halloween one available right now via Internet gift to if you haven't gotten that one yet

Dang. Wasn't much of a sale either. Wondering if I should just buy it full price then.
I got them when they were on sale on a whim. They were pretty good. I'd say go for it if it comes up at 33% off again. At full price I could go either way. Wouldn't say it's a waste of money at least. Pretty enjoyable.

I forgot all about the yugioh game. And its eshop only. Hope it goes on sale. Been awhile since I got my game on.

They were doing a lot of the giveaways over the internet for the DS games. The problem is that, for whatever reason, they've been giving most of the "mythical" Pokemon giveaways to Gamestop while at the same time cutting down on alternate sources.

Of course, things could always get worse. Like, they could start making people buy other products in order to get their Pokemon.

So I've got a 3DS, 360, and a decent, if starting to show its age, PC. Which of these would be the best platform to buy RE: Revelations on? Anybody have an opinion?

The console/PC versions are basically upscaled ports of the 3DS game. Unless you have the circle pad pro for the 3DS I would say go with your preference between 360 and PC (assuming your PC will run it equally well).
