What really depresses me is the Wii U Pro Controller was on clearance at my local Best Buy for $15 last year.. and I only bought one.

 
Got a question: Does express delivery for an item = release date delivery? I want to pre-order Smash Bros. for Wii U while I get some clearance games, but I'm not sure if I should do a store pick up or express delivery. Could anyone help answer my question? Thanks!

Depends on the shipping method and where you are. With standard shipping I've gotten some stuff on release day but some is a couple days later.

 
dishonored goty back in stock, but price rased to $21.99.

A few other titles seem to have trickled back.

They'll give you a delivery estimate in your cart for the preorder. If the shipping says express and the delivery estimate says November 21st, you're more likely than not going to get release day delivery. Of course, IME shipping problems happen a lot more often this time of year, so there's no guarantee it'll come on time even if you do.

 
Got my Mario Tennis, ZoE HD Collection, NintendoLand and Regular Show in the mail today. So basically got it in two days. No complaints, now to let them sit on my shelf and appreciate themselves.

 
Mario is playing tennis, racing, fightingand rescuing princesses among other things ... but he's a plumber. Why is there no game about plumbing?! I want a Mario plumbing sim. It needa to show what he does normally. I got a great title too: Super Mario Toilet Trouble. I would preorder that for Wii U.

I wish I could get Dragon Age II and Syndicate but it says in stores only for PS3 and there are no stores near me with them.

 
what the hell? I just got an email saying one of my orders is delayed... until DEC 9th! Seriously? It was several games. Epic mickey 2, Scribblenauts, Fall of Cybertron, and Trash pack

I ran into this all the time when I used to work there. Especially when I worked at one of the Southern CA locations. A game would go on clearance, but only at 3 stores in the district, say. Each of them would have a different price, and the other 6 (and the online price) would all be MSRP.

 
Just picked up The Bureau X-Com Declassified and Deus Ex Director's Cut PS3 for $10 each.  Used the $5 email voucher on the total.

Just received mine today, and I'm loving it so far! This is definitely in my top 3 Spidey games ever...dethroning Ultimate Spider-Man for GC for the #3 spot. Whether it dethrones Web of Shadows (#2) or Spider-Man 2 (#1) remains to be seen until I finish the game. But definitely well worth $16.99! It hasn't gotten cheaper than this, not to mention some of these Marvel games from Activision do go inevitably OOS (no GH versions). It could get cheaper at BBY by BF....if they don't sell out before-hand. So if you love Spidey games...it's well worth the price now.

Also received Syndicate, Jeopardy, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (which BTW came in a nice slip cover). Will use my $5 Mystery Coupon on some cheap game in-store...then no more until BF. I swear!!! ;)

Sorry my man, I sometimes go overboard with things I'm passionate about. The past post being about Spider-Man, or Marvel anything...actually anything comics, animation, film, art-related anything. :D

BTW...as I anticipated, Amazing Spider-Man for PS3 is OOS for shipping now. Hopefully the dude that asked if it was good read my reply in time.

best buy is so screwed up right now. i bought my wife a camera online last week, sat in processing for almost a week before i get an email about a delay and a new delivery date of november 24th. the email said, literally, if you agree with this delay you dont have to do anything, ok i didnt agree with the delay so i contacted support yesterday. they told me it was sitting in a store waiting for carrier pickup, and the late delivery date was just a "worst case scenario". anyway, the thing gets delivered later that afternoon, so basically they are just lost right now and i imagine they have no ideal where half their online orders are at any given time.

So I found pacman when I was at BB today and picked it up because I can't resist anything under $10.  I didn't get the GCU discount. 

Was kind of puzzled cause I always got the extra discount every other time and the cashier said it was cause it wasn't a "new" game. 

I'm not a rocket scientist but I'm under the impression I should have gotten it, she had my ph# cause I used the random $5 BB cert and I saw her type it in.  Am I wrong? does this happen a lot?  It's only a buck but I don't want BB to rip me off.  I already did them a favor by buying pacman.

That happened to me one time when buying the show 14. The cashier was in training. I asked her about the 20% and she had no clue. I showed her the discounted price for the show 14 when I ordered online on my phone. She called another cashier and he was also a gcu member and confirmed there should be a 20% off discount. They called another person and she couldn't get it to work. She called another person and didn't get a response. She then did a price adjustment and added a note saying 20% for gcu.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the limited edition even though it was pictured. I don't know if that's the case for everyone though. At this price though, I don't really care. If you're looking for the limited edition though I suggest looking for it in store if that's possible.

My copy of Lost Planet 3 arrived today and it looked like it was stomped on. Got to love those crappy white mailing envelopes.

Had to ship it back before they will replace it, it'll probably be out of stock by the time the return is processed.

USPS delivered it on Sunday. Someone told me they only delivered amazon prime orders on Sunday. Last package I got on Sunday the damn mailman threw it over my fence. I saw him through the window. He looked to his left and right then chucked it. He threw it 30 feet. Lucky it was a cd in a digipack/cardboard case. I got pissed because I thought it was my internal hd for the ps4. When I got outside he already drove 2 blocks.

i ordered two and both came in as regular editions, not Limited. Pretty sure limited are all gone

Not to rub salt in your wounds, but I got in on that deal. I picked up 3 for $11 each. I actually had no plans to get a Wii U at the time, but in case I did get one, I wanted some extra controllers for it. Picked up the last 3 in the store.

 
I take back what i said about Project X Zone. THe other package i thought was the 2nd copy was omething else. My actual 2nd copy was indeed the LE... so i ordered 2 and 1 was LE one was not. Strangely enough the later one i ordered was the LE o_O

 
Sorta random but does Best Buy price match rebates from other stores? Tiger Direct has XB1 controller for $39.99 after $20 rebate. Site says $39.99 but also says, in smaller print, with $20 rebate. Think I'll have luck price matching?

pretty much no. In their terms the price match guarantee doesn't cover mail in offers.

 
Has anyone had a problem getting the GCU discount to apply on the Nintendo Land with Wii remote bundle? I found the last one with a Luigi themed remote for $23.99 but there was not any 20% discount.

Yeah, it won't work. The controller bundles are treated like accessories, not games. You won't get the 20% GCU on any of them.

That's odd since the GCU discount seems to apply to the Smash Bros Wii U controller bundle. Not sure why they would allow it for one and not the other, not that I'm complaining. I was just going to stick with the vanilla version of Smash, but getting the discount off the controller and adapter is a great deal.

Many in the smash bros thread were also hyped up about getting their discount on the GC controller bundle so they may be disappointed when picking up the game and trying to apply the discount.

You definitely should have gotten it whoever that was was an idiot. "New" games as in not pre owned. Pre owned games dont even go "clearance" so her argument falls apart. If GCU ever doesn't bundle off tell them to try a differnet register pr to remove your Mybestbuy and re add it to the sale until it bundles.
