OK, spent about 4 hours on the Raid.

Quick notes:

1) Enemies start at 31, and are 32 about half way through.
2) I would really suggest getting the new gear and getting to 31 first (which is confirmed by a visit to the Vangaurd armory).
3) We quit at Crota because, well, my kids are getting up now...
4) Crota keeps your health from regenerating - the bastard.

Being level 29 and 30 and having level 32 enemies is a real bitch. I'm sure it will be much easier when people get to 31/32.

We found one chest in the beginning and I got 3 radiant energy. I think I got more from another checkpoint where others got gloves and boots. And I did get the chest armor from another checkpoint. So for sure everything but the helm can be obtained from the Raid. Everybody but one guy got some armor.

I recorded some clips - check 'em out.
io, how'd your maxed weapons feel against those enemies. Did feel like you had a fighting chance or a little too nerfed (aka running out of ammo too often).

Curious how it compares to the Vog Hard enemies.

Nerfed, particularly towards the end. VoC, Fstebringer, etc, barely make a dent in the level 32 Ultra Knights. We needed 3-4 people with maxed G-Horns to take out the mini-boss enemies before Crota.

Fatebringer is great in the very beginning but the Raid primaries become useless towards the end. It is much harder to kill the stuff at the end than anything in VoG Hard.

Vex Myhoclast is OK as it is 323 damage. But with that you run out of ammo quick. In general, though, ammo is not a huge problem in this Raid. You will find it except maybe in that last two parts where everything seems to be an Ultra.

I'm gonna say that in addition to getting to level 31, people will need to either buy the new weapons (assuming they go above 300 damage) and reset and then max a couple of exotics as well.

No new achievements? Bizzarre.
Yeah, I didn't even notice that. But apparently that is so. Man, you ought to get something for beating this new Raid.

Broly - I saw you were at it last night as well. How did your group do?

Thanks. Everything I've read (from various places) seems to make this sound like a 90% reset of our gear. I'll save my Vog weapons until I run out of room, but I'm now questioning keeping all of my exotics. Guess I'll make that call when the time comes.

Now we wait for Xur to see if the exotic upgrade path makes it worthwhile to pursue.

So, don't know about running the Raid tonight, but I will definitely be up for the Story missions and new Strike/Nightfall. I did two of the story missions last night while waiting for some people. I guess I need to buy the boots/gloves, then redeem all my bounties.

I forgot to mention, on the plus, side, we had absolutely NO server/connection issues and not one time during the 4 hours or so did anyone get weaseled or monkeyed or anything like that! So yay! We had some pretty bad lag early on, but it cleared up later.

How hard is it to get to the two loot drops? Could a group of 30s at least get one or both of those?

Did the difficulty level for VOG increase?

Will exotics found today in VOG be the more powerful versions?

The first one, probably. We did it with 5 30's and a 29 to the second (and beyond), but that gets tough. However, it can certainly be done. The super-hard part right before Crota has no rewards so getting to the loot drop before that is a good point to aim for. It's the pre-Crota and Crota fights themselves that really need to be 31+.

And apparently there are two chests in the beginning section and possibly another right after the first part. I don't think there are any in the last half. So you could get pretty much all of the loot by only doing the first half of the Raid. The only thing you would miss out on is the final drop from Crota. Imagine getting all the VoG loot (including chests) except Atheon's drop by only going up through the Templar. That is sort of what this is like.

And of course as people figure out more techniques and tricks it will get easier. I'm already seeing that you can shoot one boss in the pre-Crota phase through the force barrier which we didn't think was possible.

Gotcha. Thanks. I wouldn't mind just trying to get those done tonight, since I'll be grinding armour anyway might as well be better armour.

Yep - it definitely seems like despite how sparse the drops were, that the RNG was more generous like they said it would be. As I said, only one person didn't get any gear from the 2 drop points. On VoG that would be like 3 or 4 of the 6. Sucks to be that one guy though ;).

I think the CAG crew can certainly clear the first area which should be two chests and one loot drop.

Guess whose internet went out today? This guy!

I'm so effing pissed. Tech can't come until tomorrow PM. Sonofa! At least I can play dragon age offline.

I was going to answer "me." Mine was having DNS issues when we just started the raid. Luckily it came back, but not for almost an hour.

I will more than likely be running it with you on Friday. Now we just need four more... ;-)

I feel like I was there...

So the exotic bounty I turned in today had the upgraded max damage, as did the legendary hand canon I got from nightfall; however the hard light that Atheon dropped for me is the same old max 300 version.

Broly - I saw you were at it last night as well. How did your group do?
We only got to the very first part pretty much with the bridge and the totems before one of my guys had to get off. Three of us just chunked off then and did all of the missions and then a bunch of Heroic and Nightfalls strikes on our characters.

We tried back at it again tonight and just started from scratch because a couple people were new. We got past everything RELATIVELY easy though we relied very heavily on Gjallarhorn on the second part. We could not get enough damage on Crota at the end though seeing as with the sword we were doing such minimal damage that we decided to all level up to at least 31 and go from there this weekend.

From the 2 checkpoints I actually got Arms and Legs which is ironic as well seeing as I have NEVER gotten any Raid Gauntlets at all from VoG and yet here it was the very first thing. We had people get Class Armors from that first chest also. Plus one other guy scored a chest piece from a checkpoint so I can confirm your findings that so far it is everything but helmets.

I got Hard Light from the one Nightfall with the new base damage of 302 and I have leveled that up to max already today almost. I thought it would be great with the over penetrating bullets and high damage output with a high rate of fire what with all of the Thralls and what not but even at a lower damage output Fatebringer was still far more effective I felt.

Stinks that I got arms and legs (which I am super stoked about) but now I need 42 Radiant Shards to level them up... that is going to be a while even with multiple characters working towards that!

Our first run through when it launched there was a super clutch moment. Spoilers ahead on the Raid stuff.

After the initial light towers and then once you get to the point where you are opening up the bridge as hoards of Hive come at you from all angles, we were getting hammered. This was the first time we had gotten as far as we were and so we were all super excited but EVERYONE went down. As we did I brought myself back with Radiance. finished the bridge, meleed a couple guys for shields and just started booking it on the bridge. There was another guy on the bridge somehow that I again punched and then kept running towards the light when that freaking Ogre popped up and I about shit my pants. My whole team was screaming for me to make it but I had a hoard running behind me with red all over the map and now an Ogre ahead and luckily for me I swapped to what was my Hezen Vengeance at the time and quickly blasted all three rockets at him as I was running and killed him and just booked it through the light and got us through!! Hahah oh man it was so crazy, super edge of seat kind of stuff. Lots of funnnnn!!

Also I am actually kind of bummed that this Raid is literally just go go go. I LOVED that the VoG broke it up with the Gorgons and jumping parts and it really brought a good balance to the game I felt. With all of this right now though it is literally just a crap ton of enemies all over the place and it is just a constant push with no real break in the middle or anything. I understand that the Hive fight that way, with overwhelming numbers and what not but still in terms of a gameplay standpoint it is a bit lacking when all you have is pushing and no pulling or stopping. Like literally watching a Michael Bay movie where he gives zero breaks for anything but action and doesnt even attempt story telling. It ends up being really cool but the pacing is just not anywhere near what it should be in an ideal situation.

Oh and yeah hahah thanks for getting me through that Daily : P I sent you a message but yeah I went to go do it but was like eh eff it I am going to take a shower and wake up a bit more before we start the DLC craziness and then yeah I just sat there haha.

Anybody have a few minutes free to help me boost for Thorn in Rumble? I'm boosting with one person right now but I think we could get it done in just a couple of matches with more people.

That's great that you pulled boots and gloves Broly.

The "kinder, gentler" RNG was an a**hole to me tonight. We ran it again with the same crew (I used my Hunter this time) and I just got shards from the chest. Then I got shards from both checkpoints as well. So, yeah, all I got were shards the whole time. At least those radiant shards will come in handy at some point.

Then just now I did Nightfall with some of those guys and had much better luck. I pulled a Saint-41 (I think) helm for my Titan. It is a Defender-oriented helm and I usually run Striker, but for the Raid Defender is pretty good (to pop shields on those circles). And yeah, it has the 36-max light, so that's nice.

I have not run the Raid with my Titan at all so that's the one I'd use with you guys Friday if we do it then. I hope to have him at 31 by then.

Just as a general discussion...how is the new raid?  Have any of you guys completed it in full yet?  About how long?  Any sticky spots worth noting?  Any unique or interesting gameplay mechanics worth noting, like the relic in VoG or Gorgon section?  General difficulty compared to VoG?

I think we need to set a minimum of level 31 for the raid Friday. Everyone should be able to buy and level up 2 pieces of Vanguard gear by then.

Check out what io and Broly posted in the past few pages on the raid. They put together some good spoiler free details, but for the most part it sounds more straight forward than VoG was with more enemies. Being level 30 isn't enough to beat crota as there are level 31+ enemies right off the bat and at the end it is difficult to deal enough damage to crota without a 31 with you.

I was going to try it out with some randoms yesterday but decided just to wait to see what the group here was going to do and to wait for some more info to leak out about how to run things.

I did go through the "story" missions and the strike and if they think that this content is worth $20 then they are out of their minds. 3 short missions, new raid, 1 strike and a couple of MP maps. They made all your previous raid gear and weapons worthless, and added in another grind fest to gain 1 or 2 light levels, which once again relies heavily on Notorious R.N.G. plus no achievements. I think I might be done with this game after this next raid run.

The thrall part was stupidly funny because the person lagging behind was always "bait". The thralls stop spawning behind so someone can revive the breadcrumb trail of ghosts and make their way up as the rescue team, rinse and repeat until you get everyone to the bridge. We were able to do this with 3-4 29s.

But really don't use the pumpkin heads because you can't see anything when you run in a clump and everyone falls in a hole LOL

Also you are able to get the first chest solo with the hunter invisibility, I did this with my level 28. For other classes it comes down to luck.

Won't you need a maxed exotic or raid piece as well? Unless you get a new exotic to drop from Nightfall, then you are going to have a hell of a grind on Friday to max it and hit level 31 by evening.

2 pieces of Vanguard gear won't get you to 31. You would need all 4 pieces of Vanguard gear, or 1 upgraded (post-DLC) exotic+2 pieces of new Vanguard gear+1 piece of old level 30 gear. (Assuming you don't have any Crota raid gear yet.)

All that work is why I'm not even going to bother at this point. Just hope RNG from my first raid is good, then buy the rest from the vanguard after I see what I'm missing.

Thanks for the notes, guys.  I'll check out io and Broly's notes a few pages back.

I already bought new gauntlets from the vanguard, but I won't be level 31 by Friday.  I just don't have time to grind with being sick this past week and now with my internet down until later today ( i type this from my mother in law's where I'm working from "home" today....FML).  Like got mentioned, I've heard of groups of level 29/30 getting through the raid.  Some of you guys have played it, so check me on it, but I'd like to think I could bring in my level 29 (maybe 30 my Friday) Defender Titan and earn my keep.

That's my plan to hit 31. But I can't upgrade my armor until xur is here.... and even then there is a chance he may not be upgrading the armor I need.

I think it would be fine. From what I have heard talking to people that had run it is you may run into issues when you get to Crota, but other than that we should be able to get through. Of course, the higher the level the better.

I just read io's summary of the raid.  That was a really good summary and it's been drilled into my thick skull that it's going to be hella tough at level 29.  Still....I lack common sense in gaming and I'd still give it a go.  I have a tendency to take on unsurmountable tasks at low levels, heh heh.  Even if we just get through a couple of reward checkpoints, maybe I can snag a piece of new raid armor and hustle over the next few days/week and get to 30/31 soon.

There are also some pretty good summaries on bungie's forum. All the ones I've read sound like people have only found two chests so far. A lot of the strategies don't make a ton of sense to me, but I'm more of a hands on person. Once I'm in it might help.

My other group still only knows of one chest. People thinking there is a second one (in the first area) may be due to the random nature of the first one. It can be near the beginning or all the way through (the first area that is).

Last night we found it really far in, and up on a platform that is very hard to jump to with Weight of Darkness x 10. But some of the guys had run it before with those characters and they got nothing from this chest so it seems to be one for the first area. If there are any in subsequent areas we haven't found them yet.

Nice - unfortunately I already got it with my Hunter but next week I'll give that a shot.

You can do the first and possibly second parts at level 30. I would not recommend 29 at all unless you are in a group that can carry you. But those first two parts can give you Raid gear, so it seems the path forward is to get as close to 31 as you can with Vanguard gear + whatever else you can scrounge up (upgraded exotic, old Raid gear, etc). Then hope you can get some Raid gear from the first 2 checkpoints and stop at that point. It is a waste of time to try to kill the Wizard to get to Crota since you don't even get rewards for what is by far the hardest part of the Raid (before Crota). Then, yeah, our group of 5 30's and 1 29 couldn't even break Crtoa's shield let alone damage him.

I think it would be fine. From what I have heard talking to people that had run it is you may run into issues when you get to Crota, but other than that we should be able to get through. Of course, the higher the level the better.
Crota and the part before (though we did get through the part before - jus barely). The second bridge part (with the Gatekeepers) will be rough if you aren't at least 30 (and 31 would be so much better) as the enemies there are 31 and three people will end up having to defend each spot solo at some point. I can hang on as a 30 but not indefinitely. It all depends on where the Swordbearer goes. If he's on top of you along with two other Knights, it gets rough.

I just read io's summary of the raid. That was a really good summary and it's been drilled into my thick skull that it's going to be hella tough at level 29. Yeah, that should be the plan for Friday if we do it - go through one or two checkpoints. I would recommend any Titans (and I'll be one) be Defenders as the bubble shields are great. The helm I just got from the Nightfall has the confusion perk so that is great too. Seeing a whole horde of confused thralls is priceless.

FYI - there are only TWO reward checkpoints (plus presumably end rewards after Crota. That's it. So you can get a pretty good return out of the Raid by only doing the first half of it.

If anyone wants to run the Eris missions and then Nightfall I still need to do all that on my Hunter and might be on later tonight to do that.

I have a lot of work to do:

- Need to upgrade my Titan armor (2 x Vanguard, 1 x new exotic) to get to 31 by Friday to Raid with you guys
- Work on my Warlock (2 x Vanguard, 1 x new Raid) to get to 31 by Saturday/Sunday to finish Crota with the other group
- Start Eris stuff, Nightfall, Vanguard gear with my Hunter (though I already did the first two Raid checkpoints with her so no hurry on leveling up here)

By the way, the RNG, after being generous to the whole group the first time, was back to its old tricks last night. The first time 5 of 6 people got Raid gear from one or both of the checkpoints. Last night I think only one person got anything from either.

Stuff I've been reading does make it sound like you can get 2 chests in the first area: 1 off in the left-side doors and another on that platform near the end. Who knows for sure at this point.

There's also suppose to be another chest right after the 2nd bridge. Have to re-read it to fully understand the timing and location though.

Something along the lines that once everyone gets across there's a door in the back area that starts to close. Someone has to get in thru the door before it closes otherwise it stays locked. If someone makes it in, then the rest of the team will be able to walk in. But like I said, not sure if the door closes as soon as you finish off the enemies in the area or if someone needs to book it to the door as soon as the 6th comes across.

This is what I was talking about. We scoured the area and there was definitely no chest up front but there was one on the platform near the end.

And with that one at the end, the people who had played earlier and gotten the chest near the beginning did NOT get anything from the platform chest.

So until someone verifies that they got both on the same trip, I'm still thinking there's just one but it spawns in different places.

Yeah, the second one I was referring to was mentioned after a bridge. I'm sure by next week's reset people will have things nailed down. ;)

Frosty is talking about the second bridge. I can't imagine where that is. You can use your ghost to open all the doors on both sides of that bridge but all of them just have that black fog stuff where enemies spawn from. But I could see them hiding something like that over there with the strange mechanic of having to run in at a certain time.

Now the area after the first bridge is where I'm thinking something is hidden. We got over there last night and tried to explore. But first we turned around and started killing all the stuff following us. Next thing we knew an Ogre spawned behind us and killed me and another guy. The last guy alive had to sprint to the end to trigger the rewards/checkpoint. I don't remember that Ogre the first time. Anyway, that is where I'd want to look around some more but all the enemies make it difficult.

Oh, and FYI, the first chest (or at least the one on the platform) doesn't seem to despawn. People said to wipe so I jumped in one of the holes. Then they changed their minds and found the chest. I had actually landed on a little platform in the hole and was able to be revived but due to Weight of Darkness I couldn't jump out. That sucked. I waited a while and then our voice chat went out and I had no idea what was going on. I watched the other people open the chest and then I quit and came back in and respawned (dead of course) at the beginning. They revived me and led me back to the chest and I was still able to get the rewards (such as they were: 2 shards).

Second chest is after the Gatekeeper/bridge section and after you go through all the enemies/shriekers after that.

Apparently you have to be quick to get to it. From the Bungie forums:

The chest is located after the bridge encounter with the gatekeepers, right after the gauntlet with the shriekers and before the drop to the summoning crystal.
There is a door on the opposite side of the hole where you drop down. You have to be fast in order to make it in before the door closes, but once you're in you can open it from the inside. I used Bladedancer and Vex Mythoclast with Lightweight and ran up to each of the invisible walls while my teammates killed the adds and Shriekers, double-jumped over the hole and slid into the door just as it was closing.
Credits to Army of SE7EN (Rustafarian, m00se0032, lord420connor, Th3_k1D_Fr4nKiE, ETSDreams) and shoutouts to Shty Wizards!!!

So last night we just stopped after the Gatekeepers but we should have pressed forward and gotten this. So I don't know what that means for my checkpoint though. Maybe I have one right at the end of Gatekeepers and can still go get the chest. Or maybe it will put me down below in the next part (Wizards). I'll have to check it out tonight to see.

I also watched a video of someone finishing off Crota. They got a shader and the Raid Heavy Machine Gun. A list on Bungie's forum claims the helm is part of the reward set but until someone confirms that I'm not so sure. They had a few 31's in there - makes a huge difference on the damage you can do to the adds not to mention Crota's shield.

According to destiny tracker all armor pieces are available on normal. Looks like just the primary weapons and crux of crota are hard only. I don't know how they pull their data, though.

We need to figure out the best places for these Eris bounties.

Today there is one for killing 4 Hive at once with a Rocket Launcher and you need to do it 5 times. If you die it resets.

I did it on my Warlock by using the area where the Hive and Fallen are fighting before the Sepkis Prime strike area. The last group of Hive is two Knights and two Acolytes. I had to weaken the Knights a little first. It was also annoying because people kept coming in and killing them (or just one or two).

You can also do it in the beginning of the new Warmind mission (defending Rasputin). There are groups of Thralls that come at you there. I got 4 of them there with my Titan (you can just go to Orbit and restart and you will be right inside the door). Then I went to the other spot to get the last one - hoping to get the sword kills as well. But of course someone stole the sword out from under me. Then my Internet went out...

Now there's a Titan specific one for killing Wizards with shoulder charge. I had hear people talk about shoulder charge but I never knew where it was or tried to use it. So I have that figured out but I have no idea where the best place to do that would be.

I have my Titan to about 30 2/3. But I call BS on Bungie's claim that exotics are easier to upgrade now. I was lucky enough to pull a new exotic from the Nightfall and will need to max that out to get to 31. It is leveling up as painfully slowly as they did before. I maxed my new Vanguard gloves and boots a while ago, but the exotic hel isn't even half way yet.

My Warlock is sitting just over 30. For her, the problem will be not having enough of the new Radiant Shards to max the single Raid chest piece I got the other day. I already have the two Vanguard pieces maxed and I'm still going with an old exotic helm. I really don't want to have to buy the Vanguard chest pieces and helms but I might have to.

I kept my Warlock on over the reset so now that my Internet is back I want to see if I can double up on the Eris bounties. I wish I had done that with the Warlock Axion Bolt one the night before as that was super-easy.

On my Hunter I haven't even started the new missions yet. So I still need to do the Nightfall and such too.

Couldn't you do it right at the beginning of the cosmodrome by going down the stairs on the left? I know it spawns a knight and at least two acolytes, but maybe three? I can't remember for sure. If it does they all get funneled through one doorway so that should make it easy.

As for the exotics, I thought the faster leveling only applied to ones you upgrade through Xur, not new ones.

I got raid boots!  Woot woot!  My group only made it to Crota though.  One of the tards (he was a rando off of LFG) in my group was using unleveled weapons and was wondering why he wasn't doing enough damage... :wall:

Also have gotten an Auto Rifle and a Sniper my first night playing.  Both were from Engrams :)

So for my Hunter I have all 4 pieces of the new Light +33 armor so I should be able to hit 31 tonight on my Hunter, who has not even run the Raid yet. My Warlock however is both blessed and cursed with the new Raid stuff seeing as I can't level them above +27 light without Radiant Shards. My Titan still needs to do everything hahah but is still just 27. If anyone wants to carry me through the Nightfall you are more than welcome too ; P I have all maxed Arc weapons though so I still do damage, I just fall super fast haha

But yeah last night I ended up doing strikes with my buddy for a couple hours on the new playlist and I got quite a bit. I found out however that you can get a legendary from the Cryptarch... and it can still be an old one. I was fairly excited because I saw from the small picture it looked like the Vanguard Scout which is pretty decent... but it was the old one with max damage of 300.... lame. I did however get Vanguard Arms for my Hunter that way though too so it was nice. I also scored a couple new legendaries but nothing amazing. My favorite however is the new ship I got which is freaking AWESOME looking hahaha it is really big and is in the shape of a tank but it has a neon green on it like you would see on some old 90's toys haha I love it. I tried googling it really quick but cannot remember the name unfortunately!

EDIT

I forgot, while running the Strikes, we got paired with a guy that had the new Raid Legendary Rocket. It looks pretty solid and is a mix of Hezen and Gjallarhorn. It has tracking but then has the explosion effect similar to the Hezen Vengeance. Looked pretty awesome and can't wait to get it.

Also was playing Crucible with one of my buddie's friend and he had the new primary sniper exotic and it looked sick as hell and he was loving it. Which reminds me, I have my new Hard Light completely maxed. I rarely use it and found it isnt al that powerful in the Raid. Oh well, I was excited to have a 331 Exotic so at least I have that already. With a telemetry and a handful of bounties I was able to max it out in just a day and a half (of those days however I had taken off of work haha)

One last random thing, I didn't know that you could get like a bonus chest thing when dismantling weapons. Not sure if that is new or I just never noticed. I was running out of room in my Vault as I have been and so I dismantled a Solar Swarm that I had which was not leveled up and it gave me 4 Energy, a handful of weapon parts and a Machine Gun Telemetry!

Ran through everything up to Crota with 4 level 30s, and 2 level 31s. The first part of the raid (in the darkness) was SO FUN!!! Great way to start it off, but then it seemed to go downhill from there. Was expecting more innovative mechanics. We were unlucky with our rewards. Only one person got a piece of raid gear. Everyone got radiant shards/energy.

Raid seems disappointingly short to me. The Vault had 4 checkpoints where loot dropped. This one only has 3 (including Crota, which we didn't beat).

So last night we just stopped after the Gatekeepers but we should have pressed forward and gotten this. So I don't know what that means for my checkpoint though. Maybe I have one right at the end of Gatekeepers and can still go get the chest. Or maybe it will put me down below in the next part (Wizards). I'll have to check it out tonight to see..
I think It should spawn you right after the Gatekeepers. We wiped on purpose a few times to get that chest behind the closing door and it spawned us right back outside that corridor.

There are always 3 hives down there. I think the second (?) Eris mission (the Rasputin one) might be a good one to try. There are multiple waves of at least 6 thralls that charge at you in the beginning. I'll give that a go later today.

Best place to do the multiple hive kill bounties is The Dark Within earth mission on at least 20. Also works great for the overcharge bounty. Swarms of thralls that you can lead into a group

I completely agree that the very beginning was by the high point for me too.

I have heard rumors that you are supposed to get a checkpoint reward after killing the Shriekers and Wizards and stuff and that people are getting double rewards from the Crota fight. That actually would be an interesting mechanic if it is done on purpose where you like bank a reward and you can only get it if you finish. It would be a way to combat checkpoint quick runs for rewards and stuff and I kind of like that.

Again this is still completely unconfirmed to my knowledge but from speaking with others it seems to be true whether it is on purpose or not however is another question entirely.

Ummmm... I wonder if that would that only work if people played through from the deathsinger part and beat Crota without ever leaving the raid. Cuz that would suck. Say we go to orbit after the deathsinger (to grab ammo from the tower or to find replacements) and then drop back into the raid. We'd only get one set of loot because the game thinks we only did the Crota part? It is an interesting concept, but logistically that would suck.... I sure hope that's just a rumor, though it is odd that there is no loot at that checkpoint.

They could easily code it that it will track if you have beaten that checkpoint though. Just like they know you have completed a checkpoint and gotten a reward or not already, they could do the same with the Deathsinger part just have done minor tweaking so that it is an additive thing. I would imagine they would not overlook something like that if this whole thing is true anyway.

Anyone know that the Time on Target pulse rifle can shoot thru a Knights shield (the black ooze shield that is).  I've been able to do it before when using a heavy machine gun, but this is the 1st time I've done it with a primary.

Is this a pulse rifle thing??? Or just this specific one.  Only found out since I've been working on upgrading it.

Also have Praedyth's Timepiece & the DLC Red Death, so I guess I'll need to test those out too.

BTW, also got a DLC rare sniper rifle, Civilian Applications... I mean, REALLY?!?!?!  Why the hell did they go to the trouble of creating rare gear for the expansion
