Ok one last Move related quesiton.

Worth it to get both Sports Champions games?  Or is one enough?  And which one is better?  And have I annoyed you yet with all my mornings posts?

Boring, but easy. There is very minimal changes in the perspective of the story with the different characters. It helps though that you get to start the story from chapters 3, 4, and 5 accordingly. I did the rest on easy with the one shot kills cheat, because I'm a bastard. The grrl(luger?) sucks cause she dies pretty easily, but the Rico guy is a beast and you can just pound through with him. Use Rico to get the trophy for killing someone with the rocket launcher from 1m away.

Particularly since they had that digital deal where you get both gen versions of the game when you buy one of them, I wouldn't be surprised if that sold a lot of digital copies.

I have both, but have only played the first one. It was pretty fun, but it can be frustrating. Disc golf, bocce, archery and volleyball were all pretty fun to me. Ping pong was ok and Gladiator Duel was fun until the later rounds when the CPU characters seem to stun you with a single hit. I really need to get back to Gladiator Duel and finish that game off, but it is not easy on a bad shoulder.

EDIT: As far as the download size, this is not Wii Sports. The game looks pretty nice.

Yeah, I'd meant to mention that but held off because I wasn't sure if the 360/XB1 version did the same thing.

Wow. It's probably been ~25 years since I've been to Friendly's. Used to go with my grandfather when my grandparents were alive. They lived in Jersey. I don't know if we even have a Friendly's in this state. Definitely nowhere near Nashville.

I remember them having some really good black raspberry ice cream.

 
So it's raining this morning and the news says, if you are driving then apply the car brakes lightly so you don't hit other cars or hydroplane.

Who would ever guessed that would happen?

OK cool thanks. The games in the first one would probably appeal more to my son anyway, so I'll probably just start with that one. Knowning that part 2 is always $5 on the PS Store helps delay that decision.

So all the southerners should be able to make fun of you west coasters for not knowing how to drive in the rain now right? That is what the people in the northern part of the US do to us when we get snow (which always turns to ice).

In all seriousness, I hope this are going OK out there. I saw some pictures of the flooding in San Francisco yesterday. It looked pretty scary.

They just know some people are stupid as shit. Luckily I'm not in the flood area or the past burn area. I hope flooding doesn't hit those people cause it'll be a lot of damage from mudslides.

lol, yes, man, I mentioned earlier this week how annoyed I was with a package I ordered on Black Friday. To be fair it "technically" arrived on time, but their tracking system is something awful. And it seemed to bounce all over before finally reaching me.

I try to cut the USPS some slack. Given the volume of mail they deliver I'd still say they're pretty amazing. And inexpensive. And they service millions of people the private carriers simply cannot reach. But again they really need to improve their shipment tracking and delivery logistics. Doesn't make sense how barebones and inaccurate it is.

Damn it! I hope it is in the listings as TUF so that the DVR catches it. If it is listed as a Fight Night or something then I guess Ill just have to catch the highlights or a repeat.

Looks like the official name of the event is just "The Ultimate Fighter Finale", so hopefully that is what cable/satellite companies use to label it on their schedule.

 
So I finished off my spreadsheet, and a scary pattern has emerged.

Out of 228 PS3 games & 114 Vita games (some doubled up because of cross-buy), I've started 236 of them, but only consider myself to be done playing 83 of them.  I need to go through and figure out how to mark the cross-buy ones to get a more accurate number.  But yowch.  That's a lot of games I just started to try out.  And a lot more I haven't even touched that were purchased with real live spacebucks.

It is nice seeing I have 37 PS4 games waiting for me when I jump in the deep end though.

I only have 10k so I'll just spend that on Suros (especially with IB next week). I still don't have an Icebreaker but thats obviously a no-brainer for those who do. Have an updated Thorn already. Not much else I'm seeing. I can't be bothered to upgrade exotic armor right now.

Not sure where people here farm glimmer, but I use exclusion zone on Mars. I pop some network IDs and go to work on the cabal dudes with yellow life bars (lvl 26s?). Decent but still pretty boring. Not sure if there's somewhere better but please share if there is.

This is kind of the downside of creating an ecosystem where "anyone" can self-publish.  Nothing against the game or publisher, but it obviously looks like it belongs on mobile phones and there's no real reason it should be on a console.

That being said, where's the harm in this game being available?  It doesn't hurt anyone that a game like this is on the PSN marketplace, nobody is forced to buy it.

So I'm kinda torn on these mediocre mobile-style games coming to PS4 and Vita.

For me, compared to $48+tax from Best Buy for just the game + FFXV demo, it sounds...well, I'm not sure if ~$60 is good or bad for the extras. :whistle2:k

My only worry is that games like that where they announce a month but not a date have many times ended up being the Plus games of the month. I can not say I would be terribly interested in that even if it was free.

By completing the spreadsheet your really getting to see now that you have over 200 games you will never finish. And most likely will add to the list if you dont start purging now. I started a list of games and then I was able to see what I would never go back to. If I owned them digitally I just erased them from the list so I never have to think about them again. If I owned the disc I traded it in or sold it. I still have a backlog of around 20 games but feel much better about that having gotten rid of the fluff.

Yeah there's a lot of shit in there that I may go back to so I didn't mark as done, but in all reality will never touch again. Stuff like Critter Crunch & RetroGrade & Demon's Soul & some of the dinky Plus offerings. I'll have to go through and do a more stingy purge this afternoon.

I need to do the same. I already culled out a lot of my PS+ backlog, though, and even just the titles I've bought on PSN or disc I have around 100 games to play still. #firstworldproblems

That would suck ass. I really think that the PS+ team is smart enough to know we're not interested in a game like that.

But we have got some dinky games recently like Final Horizon and Hungry Horde for Vita. I guess it's possible that that game could take up a Vita Plus slot in February. Then they can sell it as a PS4/PS3/Vita game (3 games in 1!) and since it wouldn't be taking up a PS4 or PS3 slot people wouldn't really get too pissed at it. It would screw over Vita-only owners but that's got to be a super small group.

 
Probably going to bite on that Type 0 CE. All the extras look really nice, and I had no issues with getting my KH2.5 CE from them. Very minor crease in one of the corners, but nothing to get mad about. 

Really going to have to start investing in more shelves for all this crap though.
