I've never played it.I don't think I'm going to buy anything in the sale. Maybe Flower since I'm probably the only person alive who has never played it.
Probably never will.

I waited all day for this? I am off to Sears to get that Xbox360. Hope it is still there.http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/12/16/holiday-sale-week-3-games-movies-and-tv-shows-discounted/
week 3 up.
child of light!
vita pets!!!!
i'll make sure to play it right away then.I figure it'll be on PS+ at some point, but if you buy it, that will likely happen sooner rather than later.
I haven't played it, either. And I'm proud of that.I don't think I'm going to buy anything in the sale. Maybe Flower since I'm probably the only person alive who has never played it.
Yeah I saw that and thought the same thing. For $15 I would give them another try (played 3/4 of Last Light on 360).Metro Redux for 14.99!!
I have that but not opened it, paid more for retail. Will return and buy digital.
Bah its 14.99 for EACH.
Yea nevermind.
Talk about BORING! Tyler probably hates that game more than Dead Nation and BOI combined. Flower is sooooI don't think I'm going to buy anything in the sale. Maybe Flower since I'm probably the only person alive who has never played it.
Somebody here just said you could play them in Vudu. Thus why I thought you could play then in Vudu. I don't have a Chromecast. Why would you expect it to play on vudu?
Its google play. It will play on chromecast.
Yes.Chromecast is weird. I don't want to drain my phone battery in order to play a movie or whatever. Strange. Or maybe I don't really understand how it works. Does it actually have Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, as built-in apps
Chromecast does have some built-in "apps" but there's no way to control it without another device. Everything you play on the Chromecast you have to pull up on your phone/tablet/PC first and then cast it from there.Chromecast is weird. I use it more from my laptop and Chromebook. Find something you want to watch on Netflix or Youtube and send it to the Chromecast. You can then turn your computer off if you want. You only need it to pause or change what you are watching. Many people like it better then dealing with their TV, PS3, BluRay etc UIChromecast is weird. I have a NAS but I can grab that stuff directly from my Openelec box. I also have an android app called Yaste (XBMC remote) which has casting abilities from my phone\tablet for anything so I think I have all bases covered at this point. The Chromecast will probably only get better but even Amazon and Google seem to be shooting themselves in the foot with having both the TV boxes and the sticks. Not sure if it has a Chromecast app that consolidates everything. I think you just have to open the individual apps you use (Netflix, Hulu, etc..) and use the "Cast To" option within that.
Oddly enough if you have your phone set up to access a NAS or whatever and you have a media player with casting abilities you can cast movies/TV shows to your Chromecast that way and it works fine. The phone app just casts the video instead of mirroring it; I'm not sure why casting from PC can't do the same.
Avia for Android works. It crashed pretty often when I tried it a few months back, though.
Yes thank you!crotchety ?
You're awful!Maybe I should buy slender in support of the teens in my neighborhood that stabbed their friend because slender man told them to.
Because your phone is the remote.Chromecast does have some built-in "apps" but there's no way to control it without another device. Everything you play on the Chromecast you have to pull up on your phone/tablet/PC first and then cast it from there.
Chromecast supports plex if you know what that is. Does streaming from local media through it.I have a NAS but I can grab that stuff directly from my Openelec box. I also have an android app called Yaste (XBMC remote) which has casting abilities from my phone\tablet for anything so I think I have all bases covered at this point. If you are like me, I gotta look for the damn remote half the time. Always have my phone with me and have the ability to search on my phone versus having to type it out using an onscreen k/b is way easier. That still sounds weird, and I hate how phones will go to sleep so when you want to pause or whatever you have to unlock your phone and then pause, instead of just pressing a button. Having a dedicate remote is definitely a plus for the Fire TV Stick.
It's all good, the girl survived, and was a crazy local story! You're awful!
Go to bed...Brandon.It's all good, the girl survived, and was a crazy local story!
I thought it was really cool. Levels are procedurally generated, so they do end up looking samey after awhile. They also sometimes put so many enemies in a room that stealth doesn't always feel like a viable option. Don't think you'd have a whole lot of regret at the sale price, but we all know it will go cheaper in time.Did anybody ever play Counterspy? I remember it was part of the sale going when it came out but not any comments on it.
None of that is accurate.I've got a Chromecast. Other than casting YT videos for it, it doesn't get used. Not having its own client for Netflix/Hulu and the like or a way to control it without a PC really reduces the value of the thing. It doesn't work well for casting HD movies too, either; lots of lag. It's basically streaming a full 720p/1080p video to the computer and to the Chromecast at the same time because it mirrors the video instead of just passing it to the Chromecast like it does with YT. That might be okay if the computer is hooked up via ethernet cable, but all the computers in my house run off wifi.
Which part was I wrong on? I've not seen you or anybody else say anything that contradicts what I said about it so far.Because your phone is the remote.
You dont really know what you are talking about with the other stuff you are saying about chromecast.
I am 90% sure my phone has the Netflix controls on the lock screen. But yeah some people like a real remote. I recently picked up a Roku 3 to mess around with. That comes with a pretty nice remote. That still sounds weird, and I hate how phones will go to sleep so when you want to pause or whatever you have to unlock your phone and then pause, instead of just pressing a button. Having a dedicate remote is definitely a plus for the Fire TV Stick.
The Fire TV Stick has an app to do that type of thing I think. However it's only out for Android right now so I haven't been able to try it yet. iOS is "coming soon".If you are like me, I gotta look for the damn remote half the time. Always have my phone with me and have the ability to search on my phone versus having to type it out using an onscreen k/b is way easier.
You also get the vita version for free when it comes out. And a triple plat if that matters at all.i'll make sure to play it right away then.
buy a chromecast and you'll be able to watch it... plus I heard somewhere you get $40 in creditI cashed in the free Lord o' the Rings movie, but it doesn't say anything about Vudu for playing it. Just in the browser or on tablets and phones? Lame.
Was that the two little girls that stabbed a third girl after a sleep over? I watched a 20/20 special on that a few months back. At least I started to. I never realized howMaybe I should buy slender in support of the teens in my neighborhood that stabbed their friend because slender man told them to.
Welcome to corporate America!Yes thank you!
On a separate note, just finished my phone interview. I was on the phone with her for a little over half an hour.
She told me the pay, training, and the next steps. Apparently, from her I then have to do role-play with the supervisor, then come in for a face to face after that with two supervisors. Then once those are all clear its background check and take a sample of my hair for drug test.
Seems like an awful lot to do before their start date of 1.6.14.
Yeah plex is an off-shoot of XBMC, which openelec is based on as well. Openelec is just a stand-alone version for HTPC purposes. It's cool that the Chromecast supports it, the Fire Stick does as well I just don't have a use for it anyway.Chromecast supports plex if you know what that is. Does streaming from local media through it.
XBOX SUCKS! In all honesty though I don't what happened but no one is working on their web store anymore, it used to be good and now it never works right regardless of blocking. So bad.I'm trying to last minute "buy" the Games with Gold and the Xbox store is not behaving well for me. It might be that it's blocked at work or something, though. If so, I'm glad they don't block the PSN store….
That whole quote I just quoted.Which part was I wrong on? I've not seen you or anybody else say anything that contradicts what I said about it so far.
Again, what's wrong about what I said? Saying "You're wrong!" isn't helpful at all.None of that is accurate.
Are trying to take MildPete/NotPete's job at Bugles? Jesus that's a lot of steps.Yes thank you!

That will matter plenty when it shows up for Plus. You also get the vita version for free when it comes out. And a triple plat if that matters at all.
If you are casting a tab (meaning you're casting a webpage that has a video on it) then yea thats laggy. But if you are using the actual netflix, hulu, hbo go, etc. thats not even remotely (get it?) how it works.Again, what's wrong about what I said? Saying "You're wrong!" isn't helpful at all.
And yes, I'm aware that you can use other methods of streaming to the Chromecast, Plex being an obvious one. It's more work. The simplest solution for casting to the Chromecast is what I was referring to with the lag; opening the video in Chrome and then casting to the Chromecast directly from there. When you do that it mirrors the video stream both on the PC and on the Chromecast (unless an update has fixed this--I haven't tried it in a while.)
I'm happy to pay $2 so I don't have to play on 360.Oh, free GWG SSX on 360. Glad I didn't buy that on PSN. Suckers!
I had to access the store from my phone. It worked OK there. I guess work is blocking transactions on that store, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Yea and it sreams in HD, maybe his internet is slow Kilik? I have heard great things from people with it... only negatives are that is requires its own power source, and there are not enough apps... but $35 for a $40 credit, thats a few movies either bought or rented. Really contemplating it for the in laws, but not sure if they will actually use it.If you are casting a tab (meaning you're casting a webpage that has a video on it) then yea thats laggy. But if you are using the actual netflix, hulu, hbo go, etc. thats not even remotely (get it?) how it works.
When I said it mirrors I was talking about local videos, not Netflix/Hulu/etc.. I was listing issues with it; first I talked about the need to have a second device to cast from, then I talked about lag when casting downloaded videos. With the wording and sequence I can see how you'd have gotten confused about what I meant there, though the later posts I made were more explicit about what I meant. That whole quote I just quoted.
It has netflix etc on the stick. Your phone/tablet/pc is just the remote. The stick launches its OWN netflix etc and THEN streams DIRECTLY TO THE STICK.
Your pc and chromecast are not both streaming at the same time.
AFAIK when you play a video in Chrome (not stream, but play) it still mirrors because there's no way to cast it except with the Mirror Tab option.I've got a Chromecast. Other than casting YT videos for it, it doesn't get used. Not having its own client for Netflix/Hulu and the like or a way to control it without a PC really reduces the value of the thing. It doesn't work well for casting HD movies too, either; lots of lag. As obvious as this may have been to some people, I had no clue that's how it worked lol. Good to know since I always concerned with my phone's battery life.Yes.
Your phone is the remote. The app actually launches on the chromecast and does the actual streaming. You just use your phone or tablet to control the chromecast.
Fire tv is same concept it just has an actual remote. I like the chromecast a lot better though.
I remember as a kid, after all the TGIF shows were finished for the night, 20/20 would come on and I'd be like "Who watches this shit?", Twenty-plus years later, I still say that sometimes. Was that the two little girls that stabbed a third girl after a sleep over? I watched a 20/20 special on that a few months back. At least I started to. I never realized howing awful 20/20 specials are. The interviewer kept asking the most retarded questions of the parents. "So how did you feel when you found out your daughter got stabbed x amount of times by her friends?". I wish I could remember more specific ones because they were all ridiculous.
Haha I knowAre trying to take MildPete/NotPete's job at Bugles? Jesus that's a lot of steps.
And a hair sample? Are you sure they're not trying to clone you or Polyjuice Potion you?
I've got $2 more than you! Ha! Err… I think.I'm happy to pay $2 so I don't have to play on 360.
(I've never owned a 360)
Dont listen to therm, everything I am saying is 100 percent accurate. As obvious as this may have been to some people, I had no clue that's how it worked lol. Good to know since I always concerned with my phone's battery life.
edit: oh, shit. wait. Therm's info seems to be conflicting with this. All I want to know is if it's draining my phone's battery.
Yup, good ol waukesha, wi. I haven't seen the special on it though. Also there's a creepy slender man mural under a bridge in Milwaukee where I go to drop off train crews at work. I get the chills everytime I go down there at night. Bums sleep down there too.Was that the two little girls that stabbed a third girl after a sleep over? ...everything I'm saying is also 100 percent accurate. We're just talking about different things.Dont listen to therm, everything I am saying is 100 percent accurate.
