You know I've played with Luke Smith, right? He's a cool guy and we added each other on PSN. I've talked about it before. Why do you want people here to believe that I randomly messaged some Bungie developer to tell them "I beat the game". Why the hell do you do this, Stoch?
What you said to me the day I got flawless was pretty messed up. I wasn't looking for applause but I didn't expect my efforts to be ridiculed, least of which from you. Funny how not a single person called you out on it. Even so, I graciously attempted to explain what may have caused the disparity when I should have simply ignored you.
I don't begrudge your lifestyle but we all don't have the luxury of dedicating countless hours to video games. You know how many platinum trophies I have so it should go without saying how big a deal it was for me to finally conquer Destiny. And even that required sacrificing all other games for months. But I managed to do it, even if I'm not as "masterful" at it as you. And for once I just wanted to share a cool trophy moment like the rest of you.
That's what I wanted the thread to understand. That Destiny is a game that welcomes and rewards all willing give it a chance. Your constant intimations that I somehow skated by were not only wrong (and hurtful), but sent the wrong message to people here who are already put off by the game. What matters is teamwork. Communication. Having an open mind. Not some K/D ratio (hell, I don't even know where you found that). And for saying so I'm derided and endlessly mocked. Called a "douche" and told I'm baiting when, again, I was only responding to your comments. Ffs, if we can't be cool with each other just leave me alone, man.
