Just got shipping notification for Lucario and WFT from Amazon Italy.  Now I only have to wait one or two more weeks for delivery.  Paid more than I would have preferred for them, but easier than the alternatives.  

After talking to countless TRU employees at stores around here I couldn't take another conversation.  Just easier to pay shipping from Europe than keep searching for one around here.  

 
Got my Amazon.it Rosalina delivered in great shape.  I'm so glad I avoided Target on launch day in a blizzard.

My gohastings order for Sheik was cancelled. I already had found her after placing the order but I was holding on to this order for a friend who had no luck. He will be disappointed.

 
So B&H finally cancelled my Marth, villager, little Mac and wii fit order, they even said a link I ordered was discontinued, however they shipped me 2 captain Falcons just now!

I'm actually in shock, I guess it paid off to keep my order opened while everyone else cancelled.

It looks like they have plenty supply of peach and mario, I wonder if they ordered thousands from nintendo thinking that they were in such high demand because they got so many orders.

Gohastings cancelled my sheik and toon link though.

2 of my friend's Shulk orders were cancelled this weekend. It changed to "closed" like everybody said but then the total said $0.00. One of them argued on the phone for over an hour trying to get an explanation. He finally got a supervisor's boss and "miraculously" he was able to find one hidden in the back. FFS I thought Gamestop was good with preorders.
And this is proof why complaining to customer service works.

No, this is proof that it works to call Service and ask to have an issue resolved. Earlier in this thread, people were boasting about abusing Service personnel, even when said rep was not involved in creating the problem and is simply employed to solve problems. There's a huge difference between complaining - which is not resolution focused - and asking for help.

the person complained, and customer service resolved. That is how it's supposed to work.

 
You guys are arguing over two completely different premises.  Somebody is saying "its not nice to swear out/cuss/tear apart c/s reps" and another person is saying "c/s reps are there to take our complaints and get problems resolved".  You're both right.  The two aren't mutually exclusive, now let's stop bickering about who killed who and carry on complaining about our cancelled/not cancelled pre-orders and amiiwoes.

Finally! I was able to buy a toon link at best buy flushing ny. The guy had to find all over the place and managed to find on from a random box at its warehouse. It seems like there are two more, whoever in the area.

But you originally quoted someone who had a made up scenario of someone yelling at a customer service rep and you said they should be able to handle the "abuse". No one is arguing that you shouldn't complain, just that you should be civil rather than resort to yelling at people.
 
Is Toon Link hard to find or has he just not been fully released or something? After my Walmart order was canceled I haven't been able to locate one.

I really wonder if they had any at TRU on Saturday. I have no clue why I was in such a rush that I didn't fully scope it out after getting a Sheik, but by yesterday evening, the amiibo shelves were pretty empty as opposed to full on Sat.

What do you mean on process? BB has 4 stages, it says 1) Order Received, 2) Payment Validated, 3) Preparing Order, and 4) Shipped. If its preparing order then that means its getting ready to ship, 1 or 2 is nothing so far.

 
It just says on process. I have 2 orders up right now and one is evolve game. It says on process also and just got confirmation to pick it up in store tomorrow.

Oh goddamnit. I bought my Toon Link figure today via a Walmart self-checkout station. When attempting to pay, the screen called over a cashier who asked me if I wanted a replacement plan. Considering that $2 for a replacement plan for a $13 is dumb on top of the fact that they wouldn't be able to replace it anyway, I declined, so after struggling with the station for a bit, she managed to void it from my receipt.
 
As it turns out, she voided the Amiibo, but not the replacement plan. She then rang up the Amiibo a second time but declined the service plan the second time. fuck.
 
According to Walmart's website I can't return a product replacement plan in-store, so I have to e-mail customer service to get my $2 back, which I just did. But still, what a shitload of fuck.

This is what what he probably meant, "In Process." My order has said that to for some time, I think they all say that once you've ordered.

My 2nd Lucario is supposed to come in the mail today, I wasn't expecting the eBay ones to go through so it's a nice surprise.

I'm still waiting on my Amazon pre-order for Sonic to update, those bastards and there archaic system!!!!

If you only look at your order status screen and don't click on the item, it'll tell you the Status, which says "In process." Mine does too but it's said that since I preordered it, so nothing has changed.
 
That was a bad attendant.  I bought Fox at self checkout and my attendant was able to decline it and allow me to finish my purchase.  It was still stupid that we had to wait for the attendant to let us checkout.

 
Every time I self checkout a r rated bluray or game I need the attendant to come over and beep beep bloop her code in because it's age restricted or wants to sell you a service plan. It's something I consistantly forget, but still faster than waiting in a normal line.
 
Did you notice your total was higher then usual? And before checking out and paying you could have said maybe "Hey this isn't right?" maybe?

Or was this something that were charged after you left the store?
