What I'd probably do is get it for a month or two during the summer when there isn't much on, watch everything I want that has come out the previous 10-11 months, then drop it (assuming that was an option).

The consensus seems to be that just playing through the game is fun because the story and characters are fantastic, but going for the plat borders on the grindy side and is the cause for most complaints.

I used to play this on my phone a lot. Just played it for the first time in months and months. Highest block was 4096. Score was 70788.
If you're not feeling it then your opinion probably won't change by playing it more. It pretty much keeps the Saturday morning cartoon vibe going throughout.

Sorry I went elsewhere with my previous response to this. Modest Mouse is a pretty cool band. When I hit an indie rock phase, I had some nice back catalogs to discover in the genre with the likes of bands like Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, Decemberists, and several others. The Moon & Antarctica album from them is fantastic. I just love the weird vibe to their sound. They are able to get that weirdness yet still pull off great melodies unlike someone like Animal Collective who make their music weird for the sake of being weird by just making random noises and shit. Idk, I feel like I just typed weird way too many times..weird eh?

Yeah, I've only really got into them in the past year, but I've listened to them an obscene amount. I'm far from an indie guy. I don't think i could name you another band from the genre, but i decided to check out one of their albums after falling down a Youtube hole. Pretty much all of their stuff i want sure i liked after one listen, but it grew on me fast. I know pretty much all of their stuff now. The Moon and Antarctica might be my favorite too.
You might want to check out Bright Eyes. I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning is a good album.
