Disappointed in Davidson. I really like McKillop. Looks like all chalk today, unless trendy Dayton can win. But all the trendy upset picks have pretty much lost.
And with that my only first road pick for an upset that panned out was Ohio State. If St John's Congress through in an 8/9 pick em I'm not really counting that.

Real talk: With as much daily discussion as there is in here about fast food and junk food, do y'all consume any of this regularly?

Do junk food debates just happen because you can't really discuss who has the tastier banana? Cause that I could totally understand, but conversely no one ever seems to say "I made pan-seared salmon with asparagus and garlic potatoes for dinner tonight" either.

edit: Wait, Tyler made dishwasher salmon that time. My bad. Tyler gets a pass.
I eat fresh strawberries with plain greek yogurt for breakfast every morning. My snack I eat constantly during the day is cherry tomatoes dipped in jalapeno and cilantro hummus.

ETA: But yeah, that is pretty boring to talk about.

I make our food everyday. We only eat out like once a week.

Dinner will always have vegetables. Like today we had slow cooked beef and then I made like a stew with it (carrots, beans, onions, etc).

I do have to admit though, I'm not a fruit person.

I can eat veggies all day, but fruit not really

I'm not really a fan of the sweetness, as little as it is.

Even if I eat in, I usually still eat crap.  Like Pizza Rolls, Mac and Cheese, or PB&Js.  I have apple juice every morning and a banana once in a while.  Once in a while I'll cook fish and/or frozen veggies.  On Wednesdays I eat lots of fruits and veggies at my grandma's house.

it's tough to go from playing the xv demo to playing type-0. i'm glad they released it, but it definitely looks out of place on the ps4. maybe still a little salty that it didn't come out for vita like it should have.

I seriously eat a laughable amount of vegetables and fruit. Which is to say none unless you count things like juice and salsa.

I refuse to go out of my way to eat healthy when my biometrics or whatever you call them are pretty damn regular.

You live in Florida, you'll be lucky to make it past 40 without being in a meth lab explosion or eaten by an alligator. Anyone over 50 came from somewhere else.

Doctors says my blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol are perfect. With that said:

Fruits > Vegetables any day of the week.

Nicely done! You probably eat the healthiest out of any of us here, except maybe FeedingTheAbscess (isn't he a huge fitness buff?)

Solution: We fix you guys up with some huge-breasted women who just happen to love to cook healthy meals and play videogames.

because it's only cool to eat junk/fast food, and have a superior snack preference

Yeah, I suppose that's true. :D

helldivers is still awesome. We let cainiac carry us for a while and I actually got to finish a helldive finally (you're welcome!) but the progress bar is still fucked. Hopefully they'll fix it in the morning.

I just went and read the flash sale thread just to see if I was overlooking something and it's like all the helmet wearing mouth breather kids got together in there.

I don't know, I can get $1 worth of enjoyment out of it just being squirreled away in my digital hoarder's nest.
That is a compelling argument. Even though the more sensible side of me knows I'll never get around to playing these damn things.

Fruits > Vegetables.

I usually eat at least some fruit once a day. Vegetables almost never.

BP/Glucose is fine. I am off to Planet Fitness though, like to get my weight back down to the 160s.

Does anybody here have a really good homemade Mac & Cheese recipe? If so and you don't mind sharing it I'd love to have it. I haven't had homemade Mac & Cheese in over 1.5 years since my mom passed away.

I miss the cheese gods!

Boxed mac and cheese with weed on the side.

I don't have a homemade recipe but Velveeta has some good stock mac if you're lazy. Add some cut up bacon or ground beef and you are golden.

Post it on our site so we can get 200,000 views too.
One of my most viewed CAG blog posts is digging up a 1-up interview about Spec Ops the Line from archive.com and reposting it. Shame 1-up's website formatting was so stupid that it couldn't "see" the link to page 4 to archive it so it's just lost to the ether.

I've had that many times but I want a recipe where you make the cheese sauce from scratch. My mom had the best recipe and I don't remember it. She would make the best cheese sauce and then bake it in the oven and it was heaven. Sucks how much you can miss home cooking when it's not around.

I've even had HEB version of velveeta shells when I was in TX and it was decent.

I grabbed a handful of games from the Flash sale. Mainly I'm debating on some of the PS1 games. I'll probably just pass.

I'm really digging the #AdaptationApril idea and started adding the list of properties that was posted to a new spreadsheet so people can browse their backlog for titles.

In other news I got accepted into this training program at work. It goes from April through the end of May and includes a lot of homework so I'll be gaming even less than I have lately. The good news is if I pass a get an awesome bonus check and will be qualified for a better paying position in another department once a position opens up. They usually hire a couple times a year. My friend went through a similar process at the end of last year. Things are looking up :)

Alton Brown has a good recipe.

Also bought two beers that caught my eye that I have no idea if they're good. One is Lost Abbey: Carnivale Ale, the other is Allahash Tripel Ale.
Has anyone heard of them? The descriptions at the store sounded like something I would like so I'm looking forward to them later next week

Well I rarely make bake anything but last time I made it myself mac n cheese from scratch, I followed something like this except without the cayanne pepper replaced with regular white pepper. Used potaine, white cheddar, gruyere, parmesan, and a bit of colby cheese (gruyere and cheddar are a must in my opinion but add any others that you're fond of). If you never tried panko bread crumbs on top, you should definitely try that as it adds a nice texture in the bite.

I bought enough and grabbed the couple TTG I didn't already own on PS3. Also nabbed GOT since it seemed interesting and tempted me already at $3.

I'm not sure if you guys actually play demos/trials before buying some games but I've tried RIPD and The Expendables games on XBLA and they sucked really bad. I won't even touch them for #AdaptationApril.

I passed on Sacred Citadel because its demo was average too and I don't wanna grind out all the trophies. Apparently you have to play through the game around 7 times according to the guide. I think one trophy has you completing all challenges and each level has 3 but you can only accomplish one per run. Sounded real dumb and like a chore.

Texas Cheat'Em is an easy completion for anyone looking for trophies. I won it on 360 and got all the achievements. Had to boost a couple with a buddy but it didn't take much time.

Last year I cut down on buying cheap games. Before I would grab them all. Now I figure I'd be more rationale. Why buy 10 shitty games for $1 when I can save that money and in the future buy at least a good $10 game or 2 $5 games?

I drink tripels. Love them and both those beers you got have food ratings. I'm thirsty. Time for some beer for me too.

Ended up playing Jamestown+. So addicting. Finally won the last level (lowest difficulty you can play it on is legendary). Then beat the Gauntlet (not Super Gauntlet), though on the easiest difficulty. Went back and did levels 1 to 3 on Divine (you need to beat them all on Divine to unlock Judgement difficulty. Also worked on the challenge levels. Those are fun. I especially liked the space invaders-ish one. I'm in challenge pack 3 now. Super Gauntlet is tough because you have to play it at least on Difficult, and it's completing all the levels with only 2 continues. Ouch.

I'll try to play some Helldivers tomorrow, but we are going to be busy, so we'll see.

Damn. Last bottle of wittekerke already. I need to go back to total wine and see if they have some left and buy them out.
Pretty sure they do case discounts even on large bottles. Might be unlikely they have a full case of that one available, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I know they also usually have coupons in one of the papers down there. Maybe it is even on the website. That is illegal in Georgia :(

remember I got these at 2.99 each on closeout. I don't they have more than the three or four I left them until next winter
