I'm trying to play one of each multiplayer game mode in FC4 and it's taking forever. Just finished my 1st match. MP is dead. This is why I'd prefer to stick to campaign. Good thing I have my Vita for in between game sessions.

Yeh, the FC4 MP Is kinda brutal. Takes a while to find a match and they just aren't fun. Thankfully it's only one of each for the plat.
 
Standings after round 1 of the tourney (and yes know it's technically called "round 2" Therm but I don't count those first 4 games so shut up):

It doesn't show me for some reason but I'm tied with MSU & Ltrain at 250

I have 10 trophies left for the god of war iii plat which I could probably do in one titan game, but it's all the hard stuff. Should I get a copy for $3 at GameStop to try for it and remove any temptation to get the remaster?

There won't be much change in the bracket the first few games today unless UCLA wins. I think you're the only one that had either team right in that game. Everybody picked Kentucky in the second game. The third game, everybody but one picked Arizona, and the one that didn't, didn't have Ohio State advancing to that game.

I loved both series, but I am kind of in the jkam camp when it comes to buying media so I would by default say they are not worth it. I have no idea what they would generally go for.

Have you never seen either? They're both good shows. Both are on Netflix. And the Chuck blu isn't the best quality, so I'd just watch that one on Netflix. And if you're like 95% of this thread who watches on a small TV with no receiver and shitty-or-no speakers, definitely just watch them on netflix.

Pretty sure Fringe is on Netflix. Pay $9.99 for the month, watch the whole thing and be done. Why mess with a bunch of physical discs?

 
Finally started playing Shadow of Mordor this morning.  Put in a couple of hours.  So far I have mixed feelings.  I don't like games with combos so will have to see how that goes.  So far they aren't too bad.

So far I like it.  A bit too dark in some sections but it is sunny in here right now.  Will play some later in the afternoon or at night.

Used my 'fixed' DS4 controller and so far the buttons aren't sticking again.  Loving the Gold Head phones was able to keep the volume up and not wake up my wife.

I doubt I will finish it before the end of March though.

Holy shit. Taxes were a disaster this year. We had too many exemptions for my wife's job. We owe a lot. So now I think I'm just going to spend only what I have left in PSN money on the Flash Sale. This translates into 1 game. What to get, what to get?

Yeah we owe this year. Which I expected. A bit more then I thought but not too much more. It is a one time thing for us as well but it still sucks.

 
You may have too many games when you forget that you have a game, remember it, can't find it, then figure out it fell down between the boxes of all your consoles when you randomly set some games there while rearranging them.  You may also have too many console boxes in that scenario.

 
Called Best Buy and they priced matched ToysRus Metro Redux $14.99 even though the closest store that has it is 37 miles away. Thanks 1886 for the free game.

Ya know, other than those 14 seeds starting the tournament off with a bang this has been a really weak year for upsets which is sad. Lots of close games but chalk prevailing.

Chuck is decent. Falls apart later on. I'd say the first three seasons are quite solid. It's also on Netflix, so you might want to check it out there first. I think Fringe is also on Netflix but I'm not sure on that one.

Yep, end of the game, just like going and collecting all the mushrooms and skulls since you also have to use all of the demons in order to find those.

Finally started Type-0 this morning. Only knocked out Chapter 1 so far. Not sure how much I like it at this point--it's a very lazy HD job, which is what I expected but is still disappointing. Texture quality is pretty low but not a problem in normal gameplay. The in-game cut scenes are hideous and there's quite a few of them so far. The cut-scenes are very disjointed. Camera control looks pretty bad and apparently a lot of people have issues with nausea, which isn't a problem for me but is completely understandable.

Haven't really gotten a solid handle on the controls so far. They feel off, but I think a lot of that is the whole dodge/yellow/red mark thing. I mostly used Ace in chapter 1 and he has ranged attacks, and the ranged delay seems to completely screw up the timing of hitting enemy weaknesses. Not sure if there's some trick to getting that or if that game element is mostly designed around melee.

I did get the game for $40 from that Walmart pre-order glitch and then sold the FFXV demo for $25, so Type-0 cost me $15. I'd say it's worth that so far. Hopefully getting further in will improve my opinion of the game. If nothing else I should make money off it since I'll finish the game off within a couple of weeks and then just trade it in at BB.
