This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I apologize for this double post. Apparently it won't let me delete a post I've created so had to type something in here lol.
Hey Marquette. The delete option is gone but you can hide a duplicate post instead. You should see the button in the same area as the edit and quote buttons.

Anybody play the newer Wasteland? Looks like something I'd enjoy but was wondering if anyone had opinions on the quality of the game. I really enjoyed Shadowrun, Banner Saga and XCom but it doesn't seem too similar to any of them

I took you more for a moonshine kind of guy.
That would be me, dumbass
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Fuddrucker's. That place is a bit pricey too but the burgers are really good and I like the whole "top it yourself" scene.
Why pay to make my own burger 🍔? I can do that at home for cheaper and it'll taste better too
You can even grind your own meat with a food processor if you don't have a grinder.

Some of us don't have your massive liquor and grocery budget. #FakeCAD.

Five adventure games, an action RPG, whatever Among the Sleep is, and a screensaver. It's too bad it has Torchlight II. If they had chosen another game, they could probably get more sales since there'd be no overlap with the main Humble running right now.

Man, that'd be a no-brainer BTA for me if I didn't have TL2 or they replaced Cognition with something better.

$1-tier is solid though, I'm missing Night and Alcatraz. I'm guessing Night is non-Premium?

It's sort of sad this is almost better than HiB14 from my perspective.

Does anyone know if you can up your purchase later or if you have to BTA immediately?

I don't know very well, but I think you cannot up after your purchase.

At least that's what I think reading this part of the Terms & Conditions:

Selecting a price to pay is at your own discretion. Games granted are noted on checkout. If it says "Basic", you will not receive all the games listed above. Minimums and Maximums in effect for each bundle. All sales are final, no adjustments, returns or refunds granted.

I wish ANY of those games interested me other than Torchlight 2. Not worth it for that. I know most everyone here is all about the +1's but not so much for me.

Huh, good point. I hadn't ponied up for HIB14 yet and all I really want from the BTA tier is La-Mulana, which has been dirt cheap before. I think I'll probably go $1 on that and BTA on this, for realMyst and Among the Sleep.

Seasonal burger talk I haven't seen it mentioned but In-N-Out Burger that is all (if you are from Cali you should feel ashamed.)
I'm glad somebody mentioned In-N-Out. I honeymooned in California and got to try it three times. The Double Double now taunts me from 6000 miles away.

I admit it. I live in burger poverty.

Shamelessly bought. Thanks for posting spoderman.

I didn't have 4 of these. Plus Among the Sleep + Night of the Rabbit were on my wishlist. At $0.57 per game it's not bad for all 8, but I only needed half so I ended up paying $1.14 each in the end.

-Nuuvem had Night of the Rabbit's all time low for $1.58 in February. Although it was also in Bundle Stars Immortal Bundle for $3.99 making it cheaper on a per game breakdown.

-Among the Sleep was in the top $15 tier in the Humble Halloweekly bundle five months ago, then saw a $6.79 price during the Winter sale.

-1954 Alcatraz was in the Groupees Be Mine 16 top tier at $4 four months ago, and was individually cheapest on Nuuvem for $1.10 in December.

-realMyst: ME hasn't had a decent sale on Steam but for those GOG loyalists it was cheapest there last November at $5.89.

-Deponia, Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes, Cognition Game of the Year Edition & Torchlight II have been bundled a ton already. So it's safe to assume the average CAG doesn't need these.

With all of the burger talk I had little choice today but to try a spicy jalapeno baja Smashburger with sweet potato fries for lunch. Not bad. I think I could grill & smoke something better at home though.

This. Also the quality of meat you use has a huge impact.
How can any self-respecting burger aficionado not have a decent meat grinder?

I've owned this one for years. It's popular among hunters and raw pet food crowd.
Nothern Tool - Kitchener #12 Electric Meat Grinder — 1/2 HP $129.99 $99.99

Wasn't it that if you owned one of the Deponia you got'm all free?  Personally, I couldn't take the obnoxious main character.  Guys on here warned me to try the demo.. and I did.  Thank goodness.

fuck you all, now I want a burger, too.

I need some imitation meat to stave off this potential Peep induced diabetic coma. All that's near me is Checkers, Gino's and Five Guys. All I consider poor substitutes for homemade. Five Guys, I'll never eat again. Gino's is probably 20-30 minutes round trip. I can go to Checker's and be back in probably 10-15 minutes, so...

I bought Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and started watching some videos of The Phantom Pain. My friend was watching the videos as well and had a great idea while watching one particular trailer. I thought it was awesome so a few minutes later I cobbled this together.

New DIG bundle is up.  Nobody on my friends list owns Gare or Dark Matter so I'm assuming they weren't bundled before.

It's $1.49 or pay $1.53 and get double the keys.

- Gare Sapphire Mechs

- Sometimes: Success requires sacrifice

- Chaos Ride

- Chip

- Battleplan: American Civil War

- Dark Matter

Yeah, I'm missing Gare and Dark Matter, but have the rest. At that price it doesn't seem worth it, even if you bta to get 2 sets of keys.

Gonna continue my streak of never buying a DIG bundle.

Hmm. Worth it for Gare and Dark matter only? Anyone want to pair up and split two sets for half of 1.54 each?

Edit - I have a split pending.

While I did like the original, it could've been WAY better.

I hated how horribly the game basically had you make cover...or not. It was never accurate. K&L2 was tons better on "taking cover/exiting cover" mechanics - since you finally had a button to push to put you into cover/exit cover. I'm guessing the original game performs much better now on better hardware - but not too long after it came out, K&L performed like garbage on my PC that I used at that time. Plus, K&L:DM deals w/ G4WL - which is bleh.

Definitely prefer K&L2 over the original.

Now all I want to do is go to Red Robin and get a "Big Kahuna" burger (actual name Banzai - teriyaki and pineapple). That *is* a tasty burger!
I was not a fan of Red Robin. Their burger meat itself is....meh.

Though, if you do like to load your burger up w/ toppings or other stuff - you'll be alright.

Though, I did like their bottomless steak fries. Do they still do that?

Ain't been to them in quite a while.

I don't know where you live for the fries to be better than their burgers, but it must be faaaaaaaaaaar away from me. Around here, their fries are worse than most other fast food chains, but their burgers are great.
@Spoder

It's not that their burgers are bad. They ain't. Far from it. They're decent - especially for a chain. They're better than most chains, for sure.

It's just...there are other places around here in MA, which are tons better - and those places aren't fast-food by any means. See my list of places again.

@Anyone in MA

Anyone from MA even been to the Boston Burger Company?

Or Mr. Bartley's?

Their burgers themselves are good, but I was disappointed for a place saying they are the "World's Greatest Hamburgers." It's like Peter Molyneux saying, "Fable will be the greatest RPG ever" - and sure, it's good and all; but it doesn't live up to their claim.

But, their burger bar - that is the best part there. Tons of toppings and whatnot. That part, tough to beat.
