Here's what GTA V will be:

Get introduced to some dumbass you're related to/friends with. Drive him around for hours while he spouts useless dialogue, get out, beat up a hooker, shoot a cop with the shitty gun combat system, hijack a car, drive back to your house/garage/whatever to hide until your wanted level goes down. Rinse, repeat.

You'd have to be a moran to buy this junk for $60. COPS reruns not doing it for you?

Wait.. I don't see anything about breaking into an airport, stealing one of them 757's off the runway and then trying to land it on top of that mountain. Because I know I spent hours doing that over and over on the PS4...

So what you're telling me is you haven't played the game if you didn't do that...

Or break into the air force base, steal a jet, avoid SAM's, and then go blow random crap up.

These are things I do for fun :)

i just fakebro it too, cuz i got some bestbuy certificate worth  $10 that is about to expire in two days. plus you get $10 for preordering at bestbuy, with gcu discount of $52 after tax. essentially. i paid $42 for it on release date. LOL

so we are moving from discussing the existence of these games to the stability of the table?

:whistle2: Wait until the day your false God Gaben shut down Steam and revoke your "ownership," you will wish to have a table to cry on, biatch!!!
I hope your tin foil hat has a chin strap to keep it on

and i was referring to how scratched up and embarrassing the table looked not what it can hold

i would suggest spending less on games and more on furniture.

Lemme introduce you to a little game regularly $3 on sale that I like to call "Just Cause 2"...

Now I know where all the bribe money for those awful indie games we vote for goes.
Comments like this are hurtful and make it difficult to sleep at night

I'm getting wishlist emails from ITAD that now include Funstock. Anyone know waht that is?
UK site with some decent discounts and a decent voucher. Problem is the MSRP for most games is higher than US MSRP so.. if the same game is available at GMG, you're better off waiting for it to go on sale there.

However, there's a few exceptions where the UK MSRP there is better than the US one. Ace Combat (the only game I've ever bought from there) is one of them.

The X1/PS4 versions of GTA V had sales within two months of launch, although I don't think they have gone beyond 40% yet. So yeah, it will be cheaper soon enough, [customspoiler='but...']

As if we all can't tell what his Steam name is. :bouncy:

Oh, damn, I totally forgot about the "blow up random shit with other random shit" features in GTA V. Thanks for catching me on that.

We were limited to PS2 graphics when I was a teenager and thought overrated games like these were fun.

Pay no attention to the nazi cat, all this cat uses steam for is to play football manager
You say that like it's a bad thing :whistle2:k

But my 2nd highest playtime is GTA IV, so there.

... and yes I know my 3rd highest is also Football Manager

What a bastard, doesn't that cat know Steam is also used to play OOTP?
Eww no. :speaktothehand:

IndieAmmoBox has a new bundle (site's down for maintenance at the moment).

$1 for:

Speedball 2 HD

The Chaos Engine

Robowars

One Day For Ched

$5 for:

Blast 'Em

Vanguard Princess

Dragon: The Game

This is Dragon's first bundle, and it's pretty much the only noteworthy title.

I'm not getting GTA 5 until after I play GTA 4 and I'm not doing that until they put the achievements in because something about pigeons.

Missed the Coffin Dodgers giveaway due to being at Mets' opening day. At least they won. :bouncy:

Blahblahblah if anyone has an extra key they wanna trade, hit me up, blahblahblah.

Edit: Got a key. Thanks generous person.

With the talk of Game of Thrones just a few posts prior, that is not how I read that word.
I used to work with a guy who every time he turned in his change order he would write penis instead of pennies. He never could figure out why we all laughed at him. I have a pic of one of his change orders somewhere.

They are just jealous of all those 25$ prostitutes you could buy, i mean rent.

Also checked steam when i got home and found I was missing my gta v gift. Please correct this people.

I do want that pack with all the IE games, but don't wanna spend $20 on it. No matter how ambitious my intentions are, there's no way I'm gonna get to all of them so I'd rather only have the really good ones and not the lesser known ones (Not interested in ToEE, D&D, and FR)

I know it only barely qualifies as related, but

maybe that dude had a similar issue.

ToEE has the best combat in any crpg ever, no question, hands down, no debate. Sadly the story is so incredibly dull and boring, no one makes it past the first town.

Console peasant talk here, but actually I put ToEE's combat at about even with D&D Tactics for PSP (which also uses a relatively faithful adaptation of 3.5). I like a few things better about ToEE's, and a few things better about D&DT's. Of course, D&DT's story is even less present than ToEE's, and whether it actually qualifies as a CRPG is questionable, since the gameplay is pretty much nothing but combat (and it's not on a PC).

I agree about the combat -- seriously fun. I remember playing the paper module of ToEE many years ago (and The Village of Hommlet as well) and, for me, the nostalgia allows me to overlook its shortcomings. It was no Tomb of Horrors, but I remember it to be quite challenging.

Back when I played ToEE on the PC for the first time, the Circle of 8 mod was all the rage. I wonder if it's worth tracking down on my next playthrough?

I see the Steam version of MKX is only 3GB. What happened to the other 30GB? NetherRealm really needs to pay somebody else to port their games to PC. They are lucky that half the reviews are jokes or they would be 100% negative. At least MK9 is playable if you edit some files.

Top tip: UK sites will likely show the price as standard price +VAT, which is 20%. Yeah, sales tax. And completely unavoidable for all involved.

Shut up. We get free healthcare.

As much as I'd like to go full rage mode here, I never played a PSP game in my life so I won't bash it. I can't imagine anything on a portable could be tactical or good but I will concede someone might have accidentally made one good portable game at some point in the history of mankind (purely by mistake, mind you).

Wow, someone poured a hell of a lot of sand into their underwear today to be so grumpy.  Even console peasants and mobile phones have "tactical" games that rank higher than some on PC/Steam (gasp).

Just off the top of my head.. mobile tactics games that are more fun than PC...

Final Fantasy Tactics

Tactics Ogre

Disgaea 3 & 4

Rondo of Swords

Just to name a few.

While it wasn't on mobile, Vandal Hearts for the PS1 was fantastic. One of the best Tactics games I've ever played. Great story and music as well.
