So Age of Ultron was awesome. Not perfect, but lots of fun. Anyone been keeping up with Agents of Shield? I didn't think that last week's episode (the one meant to lead into Ultron) made sense with the start of the movie.
I thought it was expected the way they shoehorned the tie-in. And how Maria Hill's scene was basically her Skyping from her hotel room.

I was disappointed by Age of Ultron. I don't know... I guess I expected more. And the writing was really lazy and the jokes flat, which is surprising for Whedon. It looked gorgeous, though, and the fights were great.

And the death made absolutely no sense.

A bit stuck on Axiom Verge. Gonna explore the accessible areas again, but not really seeing anything I missed. Lack of fast travel is really dumb, but everything else is pretty excellent so far.
Where are you in terms of progression? I suspect you might be stuck at the same place where I got stuck for a short while.

knocked out Shock and Awe Extreme this morning. I'll admit gator got me a bit nervous having talked up how much it sucked but it wasn't too awful. The worst part was out of the 10 or so attempts it took me 5 of them were amazing runs where I ran out of time in the last round with one guy still standing. That's pretty rage inducing but it was always my fault so I couldn't get too bent out of shape.

Anyhoo, one more to go, some more riddler pickups, and three predator maps and I'll have successfully transferred my arkham asylum 100% from 360 to ps3. Then I can start just cause 2.

Heh, according to TT, Soph was the 3rd person ever to win the Unstoppable Menace trophy on PS3.

And apparently the first for the Vita version. From what I remember, I posted a casual "Anybody want to try this sometime?" on the PST.org forum and barely five minutes later this guy messaged me on PSN and was like "NOW! NOW! LET'S DO IIIIIIIIIT!" So I rushed to boot it up and he, his friends, and I knocked out that trophy for both platforms. It's funny that for someone so intent on doing it asap neither he nor his booster friends seem to be on TT. :D

That time limit is what made it such a pain in the ass. The score was not really an issue. Congrats.

Have you done the arkham origins challenge maps? How do they compare? As you noted before the bat swarm in AC did make things a bit easier at least in terms of keeping combos going, did that stay in? I'm thinking about picking at origins if I have time before arkham knight to keep the batman going.

I know this has been asked before.  But is Metal Gear Solid HD worth getting on Vita?  I know there is more content on the PS3 version but I would likely actually get a chance to play it sooner rather then later on my Vita.  Does it play well on Vita?  I assume there is actually more to play then MGS4 which I couldn't even finish with all the stupid cut scenes.

Also in Ground Zeros worth $8?  I tried a few times to get this for $5 after $5 coupon at GS for a used copy but was never able to find it in stock around me.

Have we already talked about the rad aqua kitty avatars and themes that joined the store last week? The avatars are free if anyone wants to pick them up.

The control scheme on Vita is a bit more...interesting since you don't have L2/R2 or pressure-sensitive buttons like on the DualShock 3.

If anyone dared to suggest a new 3D Castlevania should be made, From Software (Bloodborne) would be the only developer qualified to tackle it.

No I haven't. I only did the MP in Origins so far. I haven't touched anything else. I wont let myself play it until I go back and platinum City. With those annoying campaign challenges, who knows if I will ever be able to beat them. I know I wont if I dont ever go back and try. It has been a while since I have.

Zimm, how is Project Root?

And dont tell me to wait for the review!

It's OK. Better than I expected, but I'm only on the 2nd level. Not gonna blow anybody away. It didn't make me dizzy like I thought it would from watching the videos. I can see it getting a little repetitive because the two levels I played were mostly the same, with just one or two added enemies and snow instead of desert. But it has that 1945 feel with air and land targets and weapons, just in the round.

I think the very last predator mission of the campaign challenges sunk me pretty bad for a long time (outside of the tower map). It's been a long time though. I like the challenge map stuff a lot, but those campaigns were way too much even for me.

Yeah, I did the first row no problem. Then I decided I was not going to bother going for the rest until I could be the last one. A day of trying caused me to put it down and I dont think I have gone back since.

Maybe there are some videos out there now of that one where the guy does not have unlimited bombs. I guess he did all the challenges on easy or they patched it, idk. I need a strategy I can work towards on those since that last level took me forever doing it without it being on campaign mode with a strike against you from the start.

I've actually been playing City myself lately. So many dumb collectables. Before origins released, why did they talk so much about how much bigger its map is than City's like that was a good thing? This is already too big.

Portal Pinball gameplay:
Stopping every ball to line up a shot is so boring to watch I can't stand it. Is that what you and chewy do? Just catch the ball every time it hits the flippers and carefully line up your next shot? I only do it if I need something super specific or if I feel like I'm losing control, otherwise I just wail away.

Wail away!  Which is probably another reason I suck at pinball.  I cant stand catching the ball a lot and trying to line up a shot.  So boring and it doesnt work for me anyway so I say fuck it.

No I'm definitely Team Wail. I'll aim if there's something I need but I don't catch it unless it's going super slow or whatever.
