Soccer Super Bowl in like 2 hours, just a friendly reminder.

Also funny to me that soccer fans on reddit are complaining about the offseason. Which lasts a whopping 2 months. English Premier League 15-16 kick off August 8th.
Let's go (planted right next to the cameras) hot female fans in the stands!

I pity da foo who don't like JRPGs.

And most summers there is international stuff to follow.

Euro qualifying and Gold cup qualifying for USA are going on in the next couple of weeks.

A lot of the top players literally dont have an "offseason" they might take off a month tops, but all the top players usually play at least a few of the international matches, especially qualifiers. Friendlies are a mixed bag, but qualifiers are taken seriously usually.

On a slightly related topic, I'm willing to try another JRPG. I really enjoyed P4G with the Social Links, animated.cut scenes, and more urban/current setting. Disgaea's story was fun, but I just hated the strategy tile-based combat. Anyone have any suggestions? It's hard to tell the difference with all of these options (a bunch of Atelier titles, Tales of Hearts R, Ys: Memories of Celceta). Seems like there's some JRPG fans here.
i live and breath 90's rpgs. my kids names are magus, sephiroth and celes. not really. but i loved ct and fft/ff6 and bunch of others. i havn't played a good jrpg in awhile but im always down.

I can't say I dislike them, I just never got into it. They always turned me off with the styling and characters design and some of the grindiness.

That being said, I feel like I'm missing out on some hidden gems just because they may resemble other shittier ones, and I woild never know the difference.

Thankfully, P4G was trumpeted up so hard everywhere that I decided to give it a shot and jere we are. Of course, the Rise fan service right away didn't help, because I was going "and it starts..." in my head.

Wow, those drifting levels really do suck in Motorstorm RC.  I just reached my first one and after playing it for around 15-20 minutes I'm not sure I'm dedicated enough to master the technique of it for the plat(s).... I just want to drive around mindlessly in circles.  Is that too much to ask?

I still haven't played Thomas was alone, but I don't find it impossible for me to think the same as I find AC to be one of the more mediocre franchises I've played. I really enjoyed black flag and the coop portions of Unity, but everything before that I couldn't even stand to finish. I am looking forward to Rogue though when it hopefully gets a PS4 port.

This comment isn't surprising at all.

Well one thing for sure is somethinglike Thomas will hold up a lot better as it ages compared to something like AC2. Simplicity can be timeless. In 10 years its going to be more painful to boot up an older AC game over an indie title.

I thought the same but I changed my car on different tracks and beat them within a few tries. Might want to try that out.

So is that a decent consensus? Tales of Heart R would be a good option. Looking at gameplay vids/reviews, it seems alright. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Maybe a cheaper option somewhere than the PS Store.

Horseracing is exciting as hell when you have money on the races. Before I worked every weekend, I'd go to the casino and make a few little $10-20 bets for the big races. I remember I was in Vegas during a Kentucky derby weekend a few years ago. There are so many races going on then. I remember the first race I bet on, right out of the gates, the jockey immediately got flung off his horse. It was pretty hilarious, but definitely forshadowed my luck I was going to have out there.
