I suppose it just fits my tastes more than some others. I really enjoy the whole damned thing. Hard for me to pick something about I didn't enjoy at least somewhat.
What particular parts did you enjoy the most.

So is that a decent consensus? Tales of Heart R would be a good option. Looking at gameplay vids/reviews, it seems alright. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Maybe a cheaper option somewhere than the PS Store.
Have you ever played an action jrpg before. A Tales game is definitely a good game to play if you want to get into it. Haven't played Heart R but it's gotten a lot of praise. You can play the ps3 Tales games if you want a cheaper option.

Ys Memories of Celestia is another good option. No real fan service stuff, good story, and enjoyable combat (action jrpg).

Brewers are taking care of the twinsies this weekend. You better not fuck that up tomorrow Zimm!
The three or four times I've seen the Brewers play at Target Field, the home team is undefeated. So I most definitely will be fucking that up tomorrow.

I'm going to make a neogaf style prediction for the upcoming race:

A horse will win the Belmont.
It will be ridden by a jockey.
It will be a part of some very popular dog food someday.

The Burger King is everywhere!

It's Victor Espinoza. Have some fucking respect, the dude just won a triple crown that no one is even going to give a shit about tomorrow in a sport thst people only care about three times a year.
It's pretty cool to think that the last time it happened was before a lot of us were born. That being said, it probably will actually hurt the popularity of horse racing. I know I only kept watching Triple Crown hopefuls because there hadn't been one in so long.

I watch the Kentucky Derby every year, and I have for as long I can remember. I'll usually watch the Preakness too, but if there's no triple crown chance, I won't even bother with the Belmont.

It doesn't help that there really wasn't more of s big deal made out of them actually winning. It seemed like it was all talk of oh man this will be so exciting! And then they win and it's just a few people shaking hands, the commentators are super boring about it. I mean shit, an NBA team wins a single game of a seven game series that's held every year and all the people involved get super pumped about it. I'm pretty sure the reactions to them winning the Derby were bigger than what they just showed.

Mr. Wonka: "Don’t forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he wanted."
Charlie Bucket: "What happened?"
Mr. Wonka: "He lived happily ever after.”

Triple Crown winner and the abducted boy has been found!

Was he riding the horse?

For some reason, I find myself staring at the old broad in grey. I wonder why.

I think the presentation and setting just worked for me. I found myself humming with the music, experimenting with fusing the personas, and the characters grabbed me (I figure they're still tropes, but at least they're done well).

I haven't done any action JRPGs to date. I actually picked up Okeshi, since it was reviewing well, the gameplay vids were interesting, and it was half the price. I'm definitely thinking Ys will be my next grab whenever I have some PSN cred.

For anyone who played Unity and thought the DLC would be fun, prepare to be disappointed.  It made most of the things that were not fun about the main game even worse.  The chests do not show up on the map unless you happen to use eagle vision near them.  I had to find a map because I somehow missed one in one of the underground areas.  They added 7 more of the annoying Easter egg hunt missions and you have to do 2 of them to even get through the story missions.  The secondary objectives are worse than the main game since there are 3 where you can not get into conflict.  Two of those 3 are extremely difficult to get through without getting spotted and thrown into conflict.

I wish the DLC had not been free so I would have avoided it like I have with most of the other games in the series.  The only real redeeming quality was 2 more co-op missions and one of those was essentially an escort mission.

That flamethrower burger from DQ is actually pretty spicy. Definitely requires a drink after each bite.

Toss me in the P4 is overrated camp as well. Too much story, not enough game play.

They've also got a chicken version, but the burger is better. And that's coming from someone who usually prefers chicken sandwiches when it's fast food.

I was browsing random destiny streams on twitch earlier and saw some dude get a $2k tip from a viewer. He said he wasn't keeping it though and within a few minutes said he refunded it. But the fact that someone gave it to him is just fucking nuts.

Thomas Was Alone better than Assassin's Creed 2 is the most hipster thing I've ever heard.
If I'd played AC2 when it came out I'd probably have had a pretty different opinion of the gameplay. It hasn't aged well. The character and story is incredibly overrated, too. I really had to push to get through the last third of the game. TWA was very simple in comparison, but it was just more fun for me to play.

I still haven't played Thomas was alone, but I don't find it impossible for me to think the same as I find AC to be one of the more mediocre franchises I've played. I really enjoyed black flag and the coop portions of Unity, but everything before that I couldn't even stand to finish. I am looking forward to Rogue though when it hopefully gets a PS4 port.
Maybe it'll be announced over E3? I'm surprised it hasn't already, since the PC port came out 3 months ago.

It's been on sale ~$20 a few times, and Tales games for PS3 have all, with the exception of ToX2, high <$10. If you want to put it off and grab it when there's a good deal I don't think you'll be waiting all that long.

I'd considered buying it for the cheap price. Better to pass and play a better runner instead?
Watch gameplay videos. I'm glad I didn't pay more than $2 for it, but it's the kind of game that doesn't feel good to play for longer periods of time. It's also more time-consuming than I realized to go for the plat.

We used to laugh at guys tipping Romanian models obscene amounts of tokens on MyFreeCams, but at least she might fuck you if you sent her enough money and were willing to travel to her country lol. These twitch streams just take this nonsense to a whole new level.

There was a super cute chic in a ball pit last night with elf ears on. I dig the hot anime elf chix

Nevermind  fuck Ground Zeros.  I spent more time on one side mission then I did on the whole demo/game.

I have to find a double agent or something among a bunch of enemies.  I can't find him with the stupid binoculars and stay in cover.  So I come out and end up killing him EVERY fing time.   I almost had it once but a barrel or something exploded killing him.

Wasted enough time on this crap.

Can we stop comparing Ass Creed 2 with Thomas Was Alone? I'm one of the few people in here that really loved Thomas, but you can't compare a small indie game about shapes with giant budget game about ancient assassins. It's like comparing the Red Green Show with Mad Max Fury Road.
