So they had Tales of Hearts R cheapest at Gamestop (I guess it was a physical-copy exclusive there?!). I really don't like going into that place. I always find myself spending the next 5-10 minutes in my car trying to scrape all the sticker goo off of my game box. :-({|=
Yup, physical copies of ToHR were GS-exclusive at launch, and that really is the cheapest place to find them.

My Operation Abyss launch edition copy shipped from BB. Not sure if anybody else had that pre-ordered.
Mine shipped Friday. Can't wait to play it tomorrow and ESO.

I'm surprised alot of you don't play cod. All of you seem awesome at video games so I would think you would be awesome at cod mp. It only isn't fun if you die/lose alot.
I used to play cod competitively since cod4. I used to play maybe 8-12 hours a day during highschool. This one time I stood up a date with my girlfriend at that time because we made it a finals of a tournament.

Mw2 was one of my first plats. It was so much fun trying to get through some of the Spec ops. I really need to get to the ones in MW3 soon
If you ever get three man let me know. I always wanted to go back to the game.

Cool. I think I finished the survival stuff, bUT maybe missing a trophy, idk. I wouldn't mind playing some of it again though.

Edit: yea, nm. I still need to reach wave 15 in all survival maps, and buy all the items
I can help you with that man.

I'm pretty sure I was really young, and went to see Starship Troopers in the theater for the boobs. I was hoping for Denise Richards boobs, and was mildly dissapointed
I know man. I really thought I would see some Denise Richards boobs. Great movie but it would have been twice as better.

I'm surprised mine shipped early. I was under the impression BB waited until the day of release to ship preorders. It's due for delivery tomorrow, though.

I have to say I was happy to find out about the launch edition last month or so. It's always nice to get an unexpected upgrade.

Attention video game sales stats nerd (tyler)
http://gamasutra.com/blogs/KevinGeisler/20150608/245463/Steam_Refund_Experience_Majority_Outside_of_2Week_Window.php

I wouldn't complain if psn / xbl adopted a refund policy too but I don't see it happening. I'm not sure what the benefit is at this point to them but maybe someone (tyler) can point out what it is.
No way there is any benefit for XBL and PSN or developers to adopt something like this. PSN needs to make pre-orders cancelable (it's just a d-bag move not to allow that) but I don't see digital purchases ever be refundable. Steam's refund policies are pretty good (within the last 14 days and less than 2 hours of playtime) but they've been making lots of exceptions right now for purchases within the last 6 months. I hope they close down that window and keep it to the 14 day timeline soon. I think less than 1 hour of gameplay would have been acceptable as well. Can't Octodad be beat in just over 2 hours?

They had a hot chick on American Ninja Warrior, but she was out after the second obstacle.

And that fugly chick that everyone was going nuts over last year failed, too.

Refunds on steam make sense since you could buy a game and then find out your computer doesn't play it well. It's usually safe to assume a game will play well on your PS system. Usually.

haha, he hates extremely tough jumps that require precision. thank god there wasn't any of that in castlevania with flying medusa heads and instadeath pits below or anything.

Motorstorm RC plats finished.

pete, I was really surprised that you complained about the 40 minute trophy as much as you did but no mention of anything else.   Toughest part of the game for me was definitely the Hot Laps with the super cars... the majority weren't that bad, but a handful of them were starting to piss me off.  Shaving my time down wasn't that bad compared to getting all golds on those.  Drifting wasn't as bad as I first thought it was going to be either... was actually able to drift nonstop through a couple of them.

No joke, I got all of the supercar hot laps done with a gold within 3 or 4 laps, took maybe 10 minutes for all of them. Which control scheme were you using? Supposedly drifting is a bit easier with the regular scheme but maybe it makes it tougher to deal with the supercars? I dunno.

I can agree that I hammed up the 40 minute thing, it wasn't too awful either. Although I am still surprised at how many people have bothered with the plat as it does take some effort.

I was using regular the whole time. I read somewhere that people were finding it easier with the alternate but I'm an R.C. ProAm vet so regular felt right to me. For the most part I didn't have any trouble but there were probably 2 or 3 hot laps that seemed to take me forever.

Sound Shapes Death Mode is dumb.  A time limit and randomness just makes it so you have to get lucky to pass a level.  There is some skill sure, but it all boils down to the layout of your random notes.  You cant get better after the 10th try.  You just get lucky to pass the level.

I wont quit though Tyler since each level is so short it isnt that painful to keep replaying until the notes fall my way.

I see you finally leapt past the unwashed masses on truetrophies to secure your place as leader of the middle once more.

Freedom Wars has a $14.76 trade-in value at Amazon. I'm considering just trading it in based on Pete's Lukewarm Impressions (now that sounds like a news column I could read) and the fact that I just haven't felt motivated to get back into it, plus I'd technically be making a tiny profit after paying $12+tax for it.

Do it. Especially since it was on sale digital for $5 it'll almost certainly be PS+ or at least hit $5 again. I had a hell of a time getting someone to bite on my copy for $12.

The game isn't bad, it's just interminably long and a bit repetitive. You'll need some friends to play with for post game since the difficulty spikes like a mofo.

I haven't played much of the game, but when I tried the Alt control scheme I could barely make it around the track once.

Yeah, it's nuts. A former coworker of mine used to be a professional Halo player and practiced 12 hours a day. The guy would beat us with one hand.

I used to think it was all sort of a waste ofntime. Now he's a professional Smite player and his team just won the world championships...for 1.3 million dollars. Not even including other tournaments or sponsorships. Jesus.
