Starship Troopers was great. Strange how very far away from the source material they took it, but it's one of the few movies better than the book it was based on.

 
I'm pretty sure I was really young, and went to see Starship Troopers in the theater for the boobs. I was hoping for Denise Richards boobs, and was mildly dissapointed

I think I have completely given up on hoping for ports of anything to vita. It's pretty apparent that sony is done with it - the only thing that'll keep it around in the US for now is the phat stackz of cash indie devs are making from it. but I doubt anything AAA developer is coming to it outside of stuff that's been in production for a while (and even that stuff is starting to vanish) or that's funded by an extra $500k on kickstarter. and honestly remote play is good enough for me on most things that don't require the entire controller be used.

the megaman one is a shame though because capcom really has made top notch vita ports of stuff and that'd be a good fit specifically with portable suspend/resume badassness.

 
I liked Starship Troopers, but I haven't seen it since the theater. Not sure how well it holds up. Probably about time for me to see it again, but I wish it was on Netflix or Amazon Prime, 'cause I'm cheap.

I watched it a few years back. It's aged decently. The campy approach to the humor helps a lot to blunt the aging of the special effects. It's not quite as over the top as Army of Darkness, but still fun to watch.

yeah i 100% world at war, and that 100,000 points in shi no numa you had to use the electric swamp and just kite for days. it was awesome.

also starship troopers = helldivers. right?

I dont know what level it was but you could get a zombie to hit you over a fence or something. Then you could just kill them from outside the boundaries

oh i never did that. i thought you meant glitch you meant, run around kiting and dodge them until there are a bunch bundled up and then shoot them all. that just sounds like what you did is cheating ;) but hey, either way you were killing zombies :) their fault for knocking you over the fence.

Ok, but here's the thing. The coupons are stored on your account. So when you use one, it's logged digitally that Customer A used coupon EBCxxxxxxx. They don't need to keep the coupon to have a record of it. When I had started working there, they had the shittiest computer systems, and even then we could look at information on customers and see their activity. So unless you're using a different account every time you use a coupon, they already know you're using 10 a month.

"I memorized the coupon code." Ok, well so did the computer, and it keeps it's memory a lot longer than you can.

You can already do that to an extent, at least on the vita and PS TV (maybe, not sure if CCCR works with PS TV), between Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins PSP and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded PSP you have all 4 games from the main series.

Missed one damn challenge in my playthrough so if I ever wanted to go for the plat I'd have to do all those again in addition to the collectables.

That was kind of the point I was making too. Paper or not they know I used a B day code 2 or 3 times 6 months ago. Just doesn't cross whatever threshold they might have for abuse/ban. I agree with you slip of paper or not they can and very likely DO track this stuff. Unless you are a moron and abuse the crap out of it they aren't going to care at the corporate level. YMV at the store level though which is why when I used it a few times in a month I did it at different GS so they wouldn't say hey you used a bday coupon yesterday.

I enjoyed Black Ops 2 a lot. It was the only game a friend of mine played, so he bought me a copy and we played together. I was straight shit and I can't imagine not playing in a party with people I like and that carry me.

 
So they had Tales of Hearts R cheapest at Gamestop (I guess it was a physical-copy exclusive there?!). I really don't like going into that place. I always find myself spending the next 5-10 minutes in my car trying to scrape all the sticker goo off of my game box. :-({|=

On Saturday when we went to see Spy, I forgot to use my loyalty card. So I go up to the register and explain I just bought the tickets, is it too late. She says no, let me take your card number and name and I can update it manually. Ok cool. Gave her my card number and said the first name on the account is "Stephen". She writes down "Steven" so I say "Oh with a PH." She crosses it out and writes "Phteven". My wife almost lost it because we had just read something on the internet about that but didn't think it actually ever happened. People are dumb.
