Starship Troopers was great. Strange how very far away from the source material they took it, but it's one of the few movies better than the book it was based on.
I think I have completely given up on hoping for ports of anything to vita. It's pretty apparent that sony is done with it - the only thing that'll keep it around in the US for now is the phat stackz of cash indie devs are making from it. but I doubt anything AAA developer is coming to it outside of stuff that's been in production for a while (and even that stuff is starting to vanish) or that's funded by an extra $500k on kickstarter. and honestly remote play is good enough for me on most things that don't require the entire controller be used.Remote Play is a shitty substitute for a legit Vita version of the game.
I like that the guy caught it and threw it on the field. At first I thought the player flipped him off. He's so mean.
I guess you didn't like DIna Meyer's boobs?I'm pretty sure I was really young, and went to see Starship Troopers in the theater for the boobs. I was hoping for Denise Richards boobs, and was mildly dissapointed
I watched it a few years back. It's aged decently. The campy approach to the humor helps a lot to blunt the aging of the special effects. It's not quite as over the top as Army of Darkness, but still fun to watch.I liked Starship Troopers, but I haven't seen it since the theater. Not sure how well it holds up. Probably about time for me to see it again, but I wish it was on Netflix or Amazon Prime, 'cause I'm cheap.
Meh, they're not Denise Richards boobs. Thankfully Wild Things gave me those. Oh the good ol days of innocent little BrandonI guess you didn't like DIna Meyer's boobs?
yeah i 100% world at war, and that 100,000 points in shi no numa you had to use the electric swamp and just kite for days. it was awesome.I just can't believe the damn Bo1 map packs are still $15, and they never sell them cheaper individually during the cod sales. I want to do all the zombie stuff on there. The WaW ones were crazy though I exploited a couple glitches to get a few of the trophies for those.
I dont know what level it was but you could get a zombie to hit you over a fence or something. Then you could just kill them from outside the boundariesyeah i 100% world at war, and that 100,000 points in shi no numa you had to use the electric swamp and just kite for days. it was awesome.
also starship troopers = helldivers. right?
oh i never did that. i thought you meant glitch you meant, run around kiting and dodge them until there are a bunch bundled up and then shoot them all. that just sounds like what you did is cheatingI dont know what level it was but you could get a zombie to hit you over a fence or something. Then you could just kill them from outside the boundaries
I know right, stupid zombies. It was still rough out there. Take a wrong step, and you fall right into a black hole and have to quit out.oh i never did that. i thought you meant glitch you meant, run around kiting and dodge them until there are a bunch bundled up and then shoot them all. that just sounds like what you did is cheatingbut hey, either way you were killing zombies
their fault for knocking you over the fence.
Ok, but here's the thing. The coupons are stored on your account. So when you use one, it's logged digitally that Customer A used coupon EBCxxxxxxx. They don't need to keep the coupon to have a record of it. When I had started working there, they had the shittiest computer systems, and even then we could look at information on customers and see their activity. So unless you're using a different account every time you use a coupon, they already know you're using 10 a month. While there is no paper trail you would think it would be easy to see if someone use a specific birthday coupon 10 times a month. Other then the small amount of credit I usually have there I couldn't care less if they some how caught me using a code a couple of times and ban me. I figure all the clowns on SD and some of the guys here on CAG are much worse. I basically rather shop anywhere else first but if they have a deal that is worth it to me or give a better trade in I will shop there.
You can already do that to an extent, at least on the vita and PS TV (maybe, not sure if CCCR works with PS TV), between Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins PSP and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded PSP you have all 4 games from the main series. So hopefully capcom will do a ghosts n goblins/ghouls n ghosts legacy collection next. Who here can make that happen?
That's what they get for putting always online DRM in a single player game (Rearmed 2), two, heaping ladle fulls of scorn. If you get that I want a Bionic Commando collection and a new game. Too bad no one liked the last game even though it was a lot of fun.
You think computers can remember things longer than people? God, what a conspiracy theorist you are.Ok, but here's the thing.
"I memorized the coupon code." Ok, well so did the computer, and it keeps it's memory a lot longer than you can.
Missed one damn challenge in my playthrough so if I ever wanted to go for the plat I'd have to do all those again in addition to the collectables.Yep, you had to get all the challenges in one go. Thankfully I read the guide before I started playing so I knew this and with that info doing all the challenges wasnt too hard. What I like about them was that you had to use every weapon multiple times in some creative ways. It was really fun.
That was kind of the point I was making too. Paper or not they know I used a B day code 2 or 3 times 6 months ago. Just doesn't cross whatever threshold they might have for abuse/ban. I agree with you slip of paper or not they can and very likely DO track this stuff. Unless you are a moron and abuse the crap out of it they aren't going to care at the corporate level. YMV at the store level though which is why when I used it a few times in a month I did it at different GS so they wouldn't say hey you used a bday coupon yesterday.Ok, but here's the thing. The coupons are stored on your account. So when you use one, it's logged digitally that Customer A used coupon EBCxxxxxxx.
Oh by the way, you realizeStarship Troopers. You (Zimm) were the guy that caught the brain bug and saved the Human species.
"Would you like to know more?"
That's private, sir.I still don't know what this means.
Some character in Starship Troopers? I've never seen it.
yes I know owl. Go back to your math.Oh by the way, you realizethey think bugs are stupid yet they buy they can hit the equivalent of a dart board from 100's of millions of miles away using ass plasma shots?the bugs didn't really send the meteor right? It was just a natural disaster the Federation used as a pretext to go to war
Cool. I think someone posted an amazon link for it here before but this confirma it is a disc instead of a code in a box.Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is getting a physical release here on 7/21: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/08/wolfenstein-the-old-blood-getting-physical-release-in-north-america?abthid=557607421d0b7a6c24000042
I enjoyed Black Ops 2 a lot. It was the only game a friend of mine played, so he bought me a copy and we played together. I was straight shit and I can't imagine not playing in a party with people I like and that carry me.I'm surprised alot of you don't play cod. All of you seem awesome at video games so I would think you would be awesome at cod mp. It only isn't fun if you die/lose alot.
A lot of people who imported are going to be annoyed, heh.Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is getting a physical release here on 7/21: http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/08/wolfenstein-the-old-blood-getting-physical-release-in-north-america?abthid=557607421d0b7a6c24000042
Thanks for doing the hoop jumping for me!Cool. I think someone posted an amazon link for it here before but this confirma it is a disc instead of a code in a box.
And now you've left a paper trail. On Saturday when we went to see Spy, I forgot to use my loyalty card. So I go up to the register and explain I just bought the tickets, is it too late. She says no, let me take your card number and name and I can update it manually. Ok cool. Gave her my card number and said the first name on the account is "Stephen". She writes down "Steven" so I say "Oh with a PH." She crosses it out and writes "Phteven". My wife almost lost it because we had just read something on the internet about that but didn't think it actually ever happened. People are dumb.
And now you've left a paper trail.
I saw that too that's why I don't get loyalty cards.. I saw a movie once about movie theater employees taking your name and loyalty card number and then stealing your social security money to manufacture drugs for the CIA.
i had to google what Awolnation was lolHow come Awolnation songs sound really cool about half the time, then about half the time they sound like a crappy Maroon 5 song? Why can't they just make songs that sound cool the whole time?
#MusicTalk
