I haven't played vanquish, and it's far down the backlog. Maybe it's milds frustration that he mentions daily with that chapter 6 or whatever it was that hurt my interest.
I remember disliking Viewtiful Joe back on the ps2, but Okami I want to try soonish. Before vanquish at least!
Getting through the main campaign is no problem, there are multiple difficulty levels. It's getting through the 6 challenge maps (the 6th particularly) that are the obstacle to obtaining the plat for the game. It's also a pretty quick playthrough, like 5-7 hours.

Vanquish review

If this alleged Vanquish 2 is another Wii U exclusive I am seriously going to lose my shit over that because that means I'm never going to get to play it.

My top PS3 games in no particular order....

FO3 (fuck new vegas)

BioShock series (liked infinite the least)

Borderlands series

KZ series (series I love to hate)

Portal 2 (impeccable design and writing)

Deadly Premonition (the only campy writing i'll probably ever love in my lifetime)

TLoU (gameplay takes a backseat to the story and I'm fine with that)

Lords of Shadow (borrows heavily in the gameplay department, but amazing atmosphere, music and writing)

Yakuza 3

Runner 2

The Line

GoME

Arkham Asylum (better than City)

Infamous series

........ and MUCHO BAD GUYS SPOTTED.  You figure it out.  And when you do... no, I'm not even fucking joking.  It's the one game I love that everyone hates so it holds an especially high spot in my heart.  LOVE THAT BROKENASS GAME!

I actually enjoyed Brink as well, albeit on the 360. It suffered from classic overpromising but it was still fun as hell.

Welcome to my life 3 years ago. It's still weird to me that there's a whole Bayonetta game out there that I haven't played. But I'm not getting a WiiU for that game alone.

So jugular July is the best we came up with..so what, bloody killing games? It would make some people happy if I actually got to RE4 for that.

I didn't see all the fuss about Brink. I could see if you picked it up for $60 but it was $5 so many times. I don't play COD so maybe that's why I didn't hate it so much. I even got the platinum and I'm terrible at FPS games. I enjoyed the time I played the game. The co-op was fun with friends.

I dont even know but a shot in the dark is that the religious right wing saw it as a sign of the devil and had to put a stop to it. Women had to be more respectful and lady like.

fuck ing religion.
This right here. If assholes could outlaw sex outside marriage they absolutely would. It's absolutely nothing to do with disease because people can have sex for free as much as they want. And, like pot, the government would make a shit ton of money from taxes if it were legalized. So no, the real reason is assholes.

I mean 100% ours....as in PS ours. R and C is also a re-imagined remake. Wonder if Sunset will jump exclusivity @ e3.

Oh, I saw it before I posted. But your post still deserved a reaction gif anyway.

Finished with Strider Hard Difficulty. Took 10 hours 26min,Rank 568.

Need two trophies, 4hrs Speed run and Normal.
Haven't decided if I'm playing this or Escape Goat 2 next after I beat Dust (probably happening tonight.) #JumpingJune is a good month to knock stuff out.

I had planned on playing Limbo on PS3 as part of #JumpingJune since I thought it was cross-buy with the Vita version when we got that for Plus, but I guess it wasn't--the product page said "Add to Cart" instead of "Download".

Maybe I'll finally get to Brothers instead.

Brothers would be a stretch for jumping, though... :whistle2:k

Playing catch-up:

I don't mind digital but there are so many games on PS3 that are disc only.  I'm still looking for a solution to make my PS3 read discs again that doesn't involve bringing it to Sony for $150. I saw another YT video of someone vacuuming the vents so maybe I'll try that.

Dinosaur games. Does that one level in Turtles In Time count?

Is the new Toy Soldiers also coming to Xbox 360/One?

Thermopyle, Tyler doesn't know who the AVGN is.   #shitpickle

My PS3's drive didn't work when I bought it, either. I got a replacement lens off Amazon for ~$35 and swapped it out. Worked fine.

Play Brothers first without reading the trophy list, and then go back and play it again to pick up any missed trophies. It's not that long.

If you think about it though, dating sometimes can be a form of prostitution. Taking a chick out to dinner and a movie with the intention of banging her at the end of the night, is kinda like paying for sex.

Hell way it is now, dinner and a movie could easily run you 100 plus.

How much is a hooker anyways?
that 70s show quote

- dating is prostitution man, you just dont always get what you pay for

This reddit thing that's been going on is out of control. It's hilarious to see people that think they're smart talk about how they have a right to free speech and how reddit is violating that. I always find it so funny when people try to throw out the first amendment when they have no idea what it actually is.

Oh, and prostitution isn't legal because of religion. That's what it boils down to.

I know, I know, separation of church and state, right? But the majority of laws that deal with "immoral" things stem from religious beliefs. The bible doesn't like it, so there were laws to make it illegal.

I haven't seen anyone talking about the 1st amendment, but maybe you're looking places I'm not. But anyone bringing that up is an idiot.

The issue is that reddit's values say:

  • Allow freedom of expression.
  • Be stewards, not dictators. The community owns itself.
and that is what they constantly use to defend that fact that they haven't shut down tons of super awful, hateful, racist, sexist, and illegal subreddits.

Then they go and do something like this. This is the third time they've censored a subreddit that has resulted in so much hoopla. All 3 times they shut them down is because they are getting bigger and more popular (r/fatpeoplehate has gotten tons of notoriety as of late; r/thefappening was obviously HUGE when it happened) and attracting negative publicity to reddit (as well as potential legal action during the fappening thing).

Shutting these down have been about protecting reddit's reputation and bottom line. Any bad press is going to turn away advertisers. Then they go and post a blog for the sake of "transparency" and say they are not going to allow harrassment of others on reddit. Except that there are TONS of far worse subreddits still going strong just because they're not bringing in negative noteriety because people don't know about them.

I think reddit would actually catch less shit if they would just admit "we're a business, when one of our subreddits attracts too much attention we have to shut it down for the benefit of the company." instead they come of as hypocrites and assholes because they use phony excuses to shut down subreddits bringing them bad press while letting far more vulgar ones still operate.
